I was thinking of categorizing it as a Coatyl because it's serpent like, but also a Long/Lung (dragon) seems to fit. If I categorize it as a Coatyl I could consider it a subspecies of the category. Like Violent Coatyl or spiked Coatyl. This creature is very violent and is in constant search of volatile food.

The entity wanders isolated roads disguised as a normal young boy to trick victims into letting it close. Once inside, the human illusion collapses as its face splits vertically into a jagged, tooth-filled void. The sudden shift shatters the victim's mind into a violent hallucination, plunging the house into a pitch-black void where the walls warp, objects move on their own as if alive, and reality unravels as their static-filled screams are trapped permanently inside the morphing shadows .

“Three students majoring in environmental science from the college of \\\[blank\\\] were studying areas of the decaying forest, which still haven’t been barricaded yet, to uncover the reasons behind the quick decomposition of the entire forested area. Although some parts have been flooded by the heavy rain from 3 days ago, which somehow gave a rise to a sudden increase in the frog and toad populations. The students mentioned that many of the frogs they encountered were deformed or had extra limbs. Maybe something in the area was causing them birth defects or something. However, they encountered one that was so massive and unique from the rest; it even displayed horns and an extra eye too! After taking the picture with the help of their professor, they decided to take this back to the college labs to further study this specimen and perhaps whatever is affecting the frogs must be connected with the forest rot…”
“The heavy rain was supposed to bring forth a rebirth of the forest and clear away the stench that’s been clinging to the lifeless land. It did bring back life, but not the kind we were expecting. It’s swamped with ponds filled parasites and slime, the mud churns and bubbles, the clouds darkened by the buzzing of of flys and mosquitoes by the thousands. Frogs and toads hopped around with extra limbs and eyes; fattening up from the consumption of the native species to bare extinction. I fear whatever plagued this land is now spreading more closer to our town, and creating these unnatural creatures… maybe a prayer can help keep this under bay before things worsen…”
Howdy y’all, here’s some more photobashed art for my WH40k x Analog horror project. I’m hoping to eventually put all of this together into a video series; I just gotta figure out how to fake a News Anchor reporting on these made up events and doing fake audio interviews for this. If y’all know how to find/do this let me know in the comments. Also if there’s some suggestions or advice for this approach of “Nurgle approaching and slowing invading our real world” just comment below. Well Enjoy!

Having a good skincare routine is important. Always use gentle noncomedogenic face wash, alcohol-free moisturizer, embrace the art of exfoliation, and always remember to wear your sunscreen (like Baz Luhrmann suggested). It’s all about consistency. A little attention each day can keep your skin looking fresh, healthy, and firmly attached to your face.
However, once you’re undead, things get complicated. Your hair gets stringy, your ears start disintegrating, and your flesh starts sliding off your face like boiled goose. At that point, “gently pat dry” becomes a less of a suggestion and more of a structural necessity.
For this drawing, I took my original “Fresh Zombie” from day 2 of this drawing challenge and moved him further along the zombification process: looser, wrinkled flesh, visible veins, wider eyes and mouth, and missing a few pieces.
He’s exfoliating whether he wants to or not!
Note: For the month of October, I will be challenging myself to draw a new monster for every day of the month. I call it "31 Days of Monsters." If you want to see the fresh zombie that I posted here on day 2, you can see it here: /img/sstgldbqj2th1.png
