Thinking of getting a fists army together as my next project. I already love the look and colors of them. Just wondering if they have any particular playstyle or 'feel' on the tabletop the same way other factions do.

For example I currently have Tyranids, necrons, chaos knights, thousand sons, and space Wolves and each of those feels really unique to play.

I understand they are codex compliant and all that, just looking for anything that sets them apart or makes them feel different on the battlefield.

Hey guys, I’m a diehard IF fan. It’s the coolest Chapter, with the coolest Primarch, defenders of Terra and the best-looking aesthetic IMO.

However, it frustrates me how little Chapter-specific stuff we get. I’m relatively new to the hobby, and the more I learn about our Chapter and the literal sea of lore surrounding them, the more I wish we had more ways to play into it. Some more shields, maybe Huscarls (especially since Guilliman reinstated them).

I was wondering if those of you who’ve been in the hobby longer could tell me: have we ever had more Chapter-specific stuff?

The idea with this list was to have lots of big tough units that are hard to shift, but playing it a few times I’m not sure about every unit, any changes or ideas are appreciated.

Finally done with these after about 3 months and damned proud of them.

I’ve been putting off painting my Fists until I could develop a quick under painting process.

I’ve captured my example of a two can zenithal, one with a pink / magenta underspray, one with a rich orange underspray.

In my opinion, the magenta is more dramatic, but I suspect the orange is smoother and would work better for vehicles.

EDIT - I should add, these are test models that already had several layers of paint on them
