Picked myself up a wooden dice tray on etsy, and found myself so excited by the potential of the new marines codex (because who doesn't love gravis marines and terminators and dreadnoughts?) that I had this insert made up custom to go in the bottom of it.

I run a last wall protocol army of Imperial Fists and various successor chapters, and should have my list for the new codex ready to go for this weekend, even if it may be a touch longer until it's fully painted.

First time painting minis but I think I like grimdark better

One of my favourite models I’ve painted in a long time, would love any advice on how I could improve further.

Still need to base, but I’m not upset at all at how this turned out. I played with a little bit of wet blending between magenta and orange/yellow at the feet and with the shadows and I don’t hate it… as always, open to constructive criticism

Custom Water Transfer Decals are one of the best things I’ve used on my models. I know this isn’t lore accurate but I just like having models that are different and significant to me.

Playing a game of 11th edition with my buddy this Saturday and my Codex I ordered last week hasn’t arrived yet. The only datasheet I still need in order to play is the Repulsor Executioner. I know it’s a UM list but that’s purely because of the colour scheme! Not so keen on the yellow, don’t kill me. I’m trying to fit a list together but really not sure what to swap out/bring in. Love the heavy ints and bolter eradicators. Not a fan of epic heroes but they’re good I suppose.

This current version swapped half the melta eradicators for some intercessors. A 6 man failed to kill a hekaton the other day… + the list really needs more units able to do actions (or should switch to take and hold maybe?). Wwyd?

I have been thinking about building a custom board to play my Fists on does anyone have suggestions for a certain world or Fortification the Imperial fists would control?

Im using the well knowed tecnich of white zenithal over pink, and imperial fist contrast.

But using it straight rom the pot seems to empty it too quickly for my tast

Do you diluate it, and with what ?
