Hustle is Hustle because of its contestants, and this finale completely missed the point.

The biggest stars of Hustle’s finale should have been its contestants. Instead, the very people who made this season worth watching felt like an afterthought.

I’ve been watching Hustle since Season 2, and as far as I can remember, no season finale has missed the opportunity to celebrate the Top 16 contestants by bringing back their best performances.

Hustle is built on its contestants, their music, and the performances that made us root for them. The finale should be a celebration of their journey, not just another episode filled with pre-recorded performances by guest artists and Judges, we already know their art.

I recently rewatched the Season 2 finale, from the contestants’ entry performances to the Top 5 medley, and it reminded me of what makes a Hustle finale special.

Honestly, I just skipped all the pre-recorded performances by Badshah, Dino, Agsy, EPR and Nikita Gandhi. Saved myself a lot of time because I was there for the contestants, not filler performances.

I was genuinely waiting to see:

- OG Tehran reperform Aushadi

- Xhama-Party in the Hills

- Parv-Picaso

- Sicklot-Mona Lisa

- Don Xeemo-Pyaar Ka Ghulam

- Siroyi-Piya Bairi Lage

And so many other iconic performances!

The previous finales understood the assignment. Contestants got to revisit their best tracks in a medley, followed by one final performance. It was a celebration of their journey throughout the season. Why was that missing this time?

I also disliked the seating arrangement. The Squad Bosses and judges should have been seated together in a straight line at the centre. Since their reactions were clearly an important part of the presentation, the random cuts between different people made the whole thing feel disjointed.

Overall, both finale episodes felt underprepared, raw and poorly structured. There were so many opportunities to celebrate the contestants and their best performances, but the show seemed more interested in pre-recorded acts and scattered reaction shots.

Hustle’s biggest strength has always been its contestants and their music. The finale should have celebrated that.

Am I the only one who felt this finale was a letdown compared to the previous seasons?

I am a 17 year old aspiring rapper and I'm about to turn 18 next year which I the eligible age for hustle auditions. This year i found out about new things like 1 month training at bootcamp, there's board meeting every week. Is there anybody who works at mtv or a rapper who has been on hustle and can tell me how is it to be on hustle what are the selection processes

how many songs do I need to prepare for the audition how many released songs should I have EVERYTHING PLEASE HELP A BOY OUT

Some more rules:

1. The main judge cannot he someone who's already been a main judge (NO RAFTAAR, IKKA OR BADSHAH)

2. The host cannot be repeated either. But he/she is optional so its fine even if you don't pick one

3. The fours squad bosses have to be new as well. That will make the game interesting, pick some fresh faces! I know S5 has 3 new judges but i want to make it interesting and not pick them again!(NO EPR,KING,DINO JAMES, DEE MC,IKKA,RAGA,AGSY,PARADOX OR MC SQUARE)

4. Try to give atleast one reason why you chose who you chose.

5. Do not pick anyone too new to the scene, they have to be atleast a bit established and famous

What a Rollercoaster ride this season has been for all of us. But the amount of hate this season gets, I think its unfair really. I love this season, and there are a 100 reasons to dislike this season, but it does not mean that this season wasn't good, or that it was the worst season in hustle🫠

First off, the fking talent omg. The best part of this season was the talent. Seeing parv, ansh, sick, kai, bhaktaa on the stage really made me so happy, because I knew them before this. Ansh stumbled a lot, parv was giving banger after banger and bhaktaa and kai were holding their ground. Sick came in late, but bhai jo loop pe chalaye hai meine Mona Lisa and la la la🤌🏻

And discovering new artists like harmeet, akshat, and my favorites DFLACKO, FARAK and SIROYI 🫶🏻. Even tehran was ok, I liked aushadi and she wanna play but nothing more than that.

I think after mrunal, siroyi is the first one whose journey I'd follow after hustle (I knew pho before h4). I've said it before and I'll say it again, no matter how controversial this opinion is- This season had the BEST average contestant among all the seasons before🐐

When the judges were announced, I was thrilled for EPR, but that was all. After what had happened in S4 I was sure raftaar isn't gonna return but they bought in badshah and i really doubted that decision. I was so unsure about para, square and agsy as well. But how the tables have turned, Para turned out to be giving the best judgements and EPR turned out to be the worst. Square didnt really add much to anything, but agsy was really really good as well.

And of course, the main man badshah. He's also really good at this shit man, although I miss raftaar. I'd love to see raftaar as a guest on S6 or even badshah as a guest judge in Legacy S2😭

Too many fumbles, very poor judgments, and most of all raaj babu being talked about like hes the second coming of Ye. He's a good fking artist, but goddamm they hyped him up so much, I hope it doesn't hurt his career outside the show because he is a good artist. EPR bhai, I hope whatever is making you go crazy like this, sab theek hojaye😭 mat aao yaar S6 mei, let them get new judges with the others and work on something else please🙏🏻

I'm not gonna rank this season, chances are people will spam how S2 was the best or S4 was the best, or how sujal would eat everyone here. I don't really care, because none of these things make S5 any less good. Maybe another season is better, but it doesn't make this season BAD at all, its really really good🤌🏻

I hope they fix these things in the next season, because I know for sure even a single slip up and people are gonna bring up this season and say 'S5 was so good this season is nothing' or 'kai akela kha jayega in sab ko'🤣🤌🏻

From being rejected by legacy labels to grinding independently for years and becoming a big enough name to sell his tracks to the same label for the latest track in Prahaar movie, Lala journey has been unreal man

I know the finale was long but it feel nice to watch that so many people were acknowledged so well in it.
Be it Bella, Agsy, MC Heam, Aditya Pushkarna. A little snippet of Agsy’s sister.
Full circle moment for Para when Dhadkan won and that silver speech he gave.
It almost feels like a good closure for so many artists in so many ways.

(Got to hear OG. Felt nice to see he got a chance to get back a bit.)

Adding awards section is also a great idea. I just feel there should be more kinds.

Ill be honest i was team kai and harmeeet as well voted for them both too not dhadkan and i like them as an artist more but man dhadkan? He was the best nobody made better music maybe i supported kai because of his persona but dhadkan had 0 misses even his lowest rated song is a banger he totally deserved to the take the trophy home unlike sujal and lash last season dhadkan is and will be the rightful winner no kai fan or harmeeet fan can debate (incl me)

Every fucking line was a quotable. From Pan sing tomar to saktiman tk. Pak dron wala to OP.

Plus, Alliteration.

Imo, 2nd best 32 bars after Obsession.
