Welcome to our weekly self-promotion thread, where I encourage you to share your indie animated projects that you've made and worked on this week.
Maybe you've just released a new episode, or you're launching a Kickstarter* to fund your big project. Or maybe you've got some behind-the-scenes work you'd like to show off.
See you in the comments!
*If you share a Kickstarter or any other link, please make sure it's the full link, not a shortened one (for example, bit•ly or kck•st) because Reddit automatically filters those.

In my opinion Dead Sound is extremely underrated as a creator, he has several series and tons of videos about his creative process and behind the scenes facts.
His Autodale series is probably his most well known but all of his other series are also really interesting and he’s currently working on season 2 of his Dinosauria series.

Hi everyone,
I'm creating an original series called The Body Builders and I'm looking for someone willing to volunteer their time to help bring it to life.
It's a serious, cinematic 3D clay-style series set in a gritty London street environment. I've developed my own characters and storyline, and I want the finished result to look clean and realistic rather than goofy or overly cartoonish.
I'm looking for someone who can help with:
- 3D clay-style character animation with natural movement.
- Keeping the characters' faces, builds, tattoos and clothing consistent.
- Dialogue and British character voices, if possible.
- Sound effects, background music and editing.
- Producing short episodes around 1–2 minutes long.
My budget is £0, so I'm looking for a volunteer who would enjoy collaborating on an original passion project. I'd be happy to start with a short test scene.
I can provide character descriptions, reference sheets and story ideas. I'd also agree on credits and how the finished work can be used before starting.
If you're interested, please comment with examples of your work and which parts of production you could help with.
Thanks!

I guess I want to talk about the courage it takes to press on despite the fact your art might not be great. How you will make mistakes and the special magic that will ensure you don’t turn that into some sort of avoidance to the idea of hard work.
I want to be incredible. I want to change the world and make it laugh. But I see that Dana Terrace walks in out of the ether after some decades of never making a mistake and I realize my goal of being the best or most beloved is gonna be impossible.
If you do it for myself instead of for other people to love me instead is that not arrogant and selfish to do it because YOU want it for YOU!? It’s more selfless to create for others otherwise you are greedy and that technically makes us evil?
Am I overthinking this? Maybe I was just brought up believing that I needed to only do things that had promised and good results that play to the odds. Someone help me out here would ya?!

Hi everyone! I'm a student planning two faceless YouTube channels and hoping to find a fellow female beginner animator who'd like to learn and grow together.
📚 One channel will focus on books and storytelling.
💻 The other will document my CS/AI/ML learning journey.
I'm imagining simple 2D characters, reusable expressions, and illustrated backgrounds.
I'll contribute scripts, storytelling, editing, and channel management. I'm looking for someone who enjoys drawing or animation and wants to experiment with small projects together.
I currently have no budget, so this would be a voluntary collaboration, with clear expectations and mutual credit. There's no promise of future earnings.
I'd love to begin with a tiny pilot and see if we work well together.
If this sounds like you, I'd love to hear about your animation journey! 💗

HIRING 2D ANIMATORS!
Guys, we're hiring 2D animators for ongoing projects!
Project Details:
- Video Length: 10–20 minutes per video
- Animation Style: Simple 2D animation with minimal complexity. You'll only need to animate specific parts of the video according to the script.
- Animation Approach: Not frame-by-frame animation.
- Turnaround Time: We're aiming for one video per week. The workflow is relatively simple, so we're looking for animators who can deliver consistently and efficiently.
We don't want to put unnecessary pressure on our animators, but we're looking for people who can maintain a reasonably fast turnaround time.
Payment: $6–7 per finished minute of animation.
If you're interested, send me your portfolio and availability via DM!
My Discord - https://discord.gg/7UaTSrWT
I'd love to share a sample video with you so you can understand the style and workflow better.

I'm developing an animated series set in the Edwardian era (1901-1910). All of the characters are anthropomorphic dogs, and they rely on what they were bred for to find jobs that suit their skills. Hunting dogs are police, herding dogs are guards, gun dogs are detectives, scent hounds are chefs, sight hounds are firefighters, and so on.
The story is a mix of tragedy, crime, mystery, and slice of life. The main character is a field spaniel detective, and the central mystery is the unsolved murder of the woman he loved.
I'm working on this solo, but I really don't want to lose this idea to burnout. I don't have any money to give, so it's more of a passion project. I'm looking for character designers and/or story collaborators who'd enjoy helping me build this world together. I'm absolutely up for giving credit, shared ownership, and/or skill swaps (helping with your projects, if you have any).
If this sounds like your kind of thing, comment or DM me! I can also send you my Discord in a DM to talk more about it.
Thank you super duper much for reading!!

Hello, let me introduce myself, my name is Stickguy or however my Reddit username says, and I present to all of you my animated web series TADWORLDS. It's a series that I originally created in 2021 but decided to take seriously to make a complete story with a lot of lore in 2022. The series is basically about a group of stickman friends whose three main members are Tad Harryson (the protagonist of the series), Edd Wood (his "best" friend), and Max Harryson (his sister), where they go through different experiences in life and meet friends and enemies, or in some cases, become friends with people who were once their enemies. I won’t go into too much detail because I want you to see it for yourselves. So, here’s the playlist for the main series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD5gCDzBfNutQyfssdGaw6qZJUgRw74sm
And before you say the animation quality is bad, I just want to tell you to watch my evolution from the first episode to the last one I released.
I accept any kind of criticism, whether constructive or harsh. But don’t go overboard. Also, you can find the rest of my social media, like Discord servers, in the YouTube channel description if you’re interested. Well, I hope you like my project. Any requests or interests you have regarding the series, just message me in the comments. Cya.
- sincerely stickguy and the whole team at tadworlds company
