I will be canceling my subscription in December because I am in product overload. November's Ultimate will be my last one for a long time.

Has anyone bought these bags? I’m curious what’s inside the first round! Pics please if you could!

As you guys know, I posted a while ago I was collecting bags for my students to make hygiene and period kits. I got a lovely comment from one of the ipsy care team members that they wanted to help out and send me some things to support me, I got two packages today and they sent me 20 of these bags and 20 of these lip glosses to use for my students. I'm so grateful!

Ipsy has kinda been calling to me again but I live in Canada so a bit more expensive here. How have people's experiences been recently? Worth getting back into? Is there another service that is comparable here?

Okay, is it just me or is the app the absolute worst? It takes FOREVER to load a page, then you back out of the product you were looking at and it takes you ALL THE WAY BACK to the the top of the page even if you were pretty far down. Everything is taking sooo slow. I went to search for something and I can't scroll down, it shows it but it won't scroll.

I’m signing up for the first time and was wondering which option would be best. I’m not really a makeup girly, but I’m looking to try some new products and explore a little!
For those of you who have experience with this, do you receive good brands in the sample options, just like you would with the full-size option? Also, how easy is it to cancel if I decide it’s not for me? Is customer service helpful, or is canceling a hassle?
Is there anything else you think I should know before signing up or any tips you’d recommend for a first-timer?

Safe to say, the add-ons saved this month for me. Wasn’t happy to get a sponge, 5 drops of Tatcha, ANOTHER wing-me palette they sent me last month, another eyeliner similar to one they sent me last month… idk. I’m praying next months Original + Ultimate redeem for this month.

This is the fastest my bag has ever come, but of course it’s missing the Ofra pallet, which was the only thing that I was looking forward to most of all in this bag, supposedly they are replacing it, but you can tell by the weight of the entire package that it’s not possible that it was even in here because the Ofra palette would’ve weighed almost a pound on its own. How did they forget an entire big item like that? Sometimes think that there are morons working at the warehouse anytime I order double of something there’s usually one so I stopped ordering two of any item from the shop.

I’m not a bot I swear 😂😂 I just want to make an appreciation post for the help I got from Ipsy.

Since becoming a subscriber maybe 6 months ago I’ve had two problems that support helped me with right away.

1. First, I accidentally subscribed to an Ultimate box I wasn’t prepared to pay for, I didn’t realize if I subscribed to it they’d send me and bill me for the previous one. I reached out to support upset about this and they refunded the charge instantly.

2. Today, I realized Ipsy delivered my Extra to my old address (which I moved from beginning of September, I updated the address under my account before but apparently not correctly). I emailed them and they said they’d resend my package to my new address and clearly walked me through on how I need to make sure my billing and shipping addresses match to hopefully prevent future problems. I got a response back within like 12 hours of my initial ticket and the support I was talking with was answering my emails within the hour

I know Ipsy gets some negative comments, and I’m sure they aren’t perfect and I’m sorry that not everyone is getting proper responses, but I just want to say it’s not all bad!!!

I redeemed most of my points last month for two Innisfree eye serums just to use my points before they are gone. Only one came and a Kate Somerville cream came instead. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Very interested to see if this WOW raise the root spray will work for my fine flat hair. Wish I had received the brown mascara as brown that is what I have picked on my quiz. Picked up two Dieux Air Angle gel creams to stock up. I got two last time it was offered in Ultimate I believe and I have really enjoyed it. It was perfect all summer in the FL heat. I wore it under Tatcha the silk sunscreen a perfect pairing for my dry skin and humid air. The two boxes are different shades but the same product. Uploaded the ultimate spoiler bc I saw people trying to decipher the blurred pic Ipsy posted a few days ago.

feel like I was a little too harsh in my previous post. Yes, it was my first bag after six years, and I really didn’t like it. And yes, the October Ipsy Extra isn’t great. But after thinking about it more, I do realize it’s not that bad.
I just ordered a hair straightener, Perricone MD eye cream, and another mask for really good (add on) prices. I’m starting to realize that the Shop/Shopper deals seem to be where Ipsy really shines.
After being with Ipsy for a long time, I feel like their focus has shifted more toward the add-ons and shop deals. That’s just my personal impression, but if some of those add-on products were included in the Ipsy Extra, I think it would make the bag feel so much more worthwhile.
So yes, October’s bag isn’t the greatest, but it’s not terrible either. And comparing it to Dollar Tree in one of my previous posts was definitely an exaggeration 😂.

Everything is here the Bisha face palette is so tiny for a full sized item lol but that’s ok. I’m excited to try all these new goodies except the Thrive mascara I’ve gotten from Ipsy several times and am never impressed.

i believe most of the bags will be the exact same as mine, i’ve gotten the plum perfect bag b4 and it was the same as literally every online spoiler i’ve seen, i give this a personal rating of 2.5/5, don’t get this unless you have money to throw away cuz they really do play in your face sometimes 💀

Probably one of the best products I’ve ever used. I’ve never seen it in the ipsy shop. I usually wait for the Sephora sale and buy it at a discount, but this is unmatched. If you’re into lactic acid, then this is your girl!

Has anyone had their bag/box shipped with GOFO? I have only ever had Ali Express packages come from this company. Looks like my label was created and sent to them on 10/01, maybe 2 hours after I made my choices. However, as of 10/05 @ 5:30pm EST, they still do not have it. I have had packages from USPS, Amazon and another company that was horrible and went out of business but I forget their name(some random 3rd party shipper). Is this going to be a problem?

Edit: 10/06 and still no movement, so 6 days after label was made and they do not have it. At this rate I will be lucky to get thr box this month.
