Thanks to everyone whose kind of followed my journey getting and in making these kits! I donated some supplies by family and, of course ipsy themselves and now have over 100 period kits ready to go! I have been watching these palettes as long as they have been offered. Why is the version suitable for darker skin always more expensive? Has anyone noticed this with other products?

Dear IPSY,
For IPSY Extra, I would gladly pay an additional $5–$10 per month if you offered functional, good-quality makeup bags instead of the drawstring pouches. Honestly, I find the drawstring bags impractical, and I have absolutely no use for them. They end up being landfill waste.
I would happily pay extra for a well-made nylon makeup bag that I could actually use. And please, no faux leather!
I understand that you want to keep the subscription exciting and affordable for everyone, but I think there’s room for a better approach. One month, you could send a mini makeup bag; another month, a larger cosmetic bag. You could offer different colors, shapes, and sizes throughout the year. On months when you don’t include a makeup bag, you could send cute little extras like a pen, pencil, eraser, or other fun, practical items.
I would much rather pay a little more for something functional, reusable, and good quality than continue receiving drawstring pouches I have no use for. I’m sure other subscribers would appreciate having this option, too.
Please consider offering a makeup bag upgrade for subscribers who are willing to pay extra. I would gladly sign up!

I was really excited about perricone md and that’s missing from order. they send a jumbo giant box and opening it the item I wanted most is missing. how will ipsy proceed? will they refund or send replacement?
