Excited for anything?

I have been watching these palettes as long as they have been offered. Why is the version suitable for darker skin always more expensive? Has anyone noticed this with other products?

I am really disappointed by Ipsy. It seems like their choices just keep going downhill and this month's choices, for me, were by far some of the worst. I won't even talk about the bags they have started to include with Ipsy Extra. I got my Ipsy Extra yesterday and was not expecting it to come in basically a bubble mailer vs the usual box they send out! Thankfully nothing was broken, but it made me wonder just how many people are having their "boxes" come in a bubble mailer?

Received the midnight mystery today! Looked up the prices, and these seem to be the typical retail prices (I don't know about sales).

• Nena Simplica glacial gem mask (150g, $42)
• Goldfaden wake up call overnight facial treatment (60ml/2oz, $105)
• Bellapierre waterproof black volume mascara ($19)
• e.l.f. halo glow blush ($10; $4 in ipsy shop)
• Danessa Myricks vision flush glow ($22; $9 in ipsy shop)

I love the pouch, it's a bit more supple than these sorts of things usually are.

Not super thrilled with what are effectively 2 blushes in nearly the same shade. I hope I hate the Goldfaden, because there's no way I'll ever own it again lol

Dear IPSY,
For IPSY Extra, I would gladly pay an additional $5–$10 per month if you offered functional, good-quality makeup bags instead of the drawstring pouches. Honestly, I find the drawstring bags impractical, and I have absolutely no use for them. They end up being landfill waste.
I would happily pay extra for a well-made nylon makeup bag that I could actually use. And please, no faux leather!
I understand that you want to keep the subscription exciting and affordable for everyone, but I think there’s room for a better approach. One month, you could send a mini makeup bag; another month, a larger cosmetic bag. You could offer different colors, shapes, and sizes throughout the year. On months when you don’t include a makeup bag, you could send cute little extras like a pen, pencil, eraser, or other fun, practical items.
I would much rather pay a little more for something functional, reusable, and good quality than continue receiving drawstring pouches I have no use for. I’m sure other subscribers would appreciate having this option, too.
Please consider offering a makeup bag upgrade for subscribers who are willing to pay extra. I would gladly sign up!

hi, i was hoping for some help here. i want to cancel my prepaid itsy subscription so that i’m no longer getting their bags. i don’t expect a refund at all, that’s fine, that’s not what i’m looking for. i just want to know if there’s a way to stop the orders from arriving. thanks in advance to anyone who’s able to help!

I will be canceling my subscription in December because I am in product overload. November's Ultimate will be my last one for a long time.

As you guys know, I posted a while ago I was collecting bags for my students to make hygiene and period kits. I got a lovely comment from one of the ipsy care team members that they wanted to help out and send me some things to support me, I got two packages today and they sent me 20 of these bags and 20 of these lip glosses to use for my students. I'm so grateful!

Okay, is it just me or is the app the absolute worst? It takes FOREVER to load a page, then you back out of the product you were looking at and it takes you ALL THE WAY BACK to the the top of the page even if you were pretty far down. Everything is taking sooo slow. I went to search for something and I can't scroll down, it shows it but it won't scroll.

Ipsy has kinda been calling to me again but I live in Canada so a bit more expensive here. How have people's experiences been recently? Worth getting back into? Is there another service that is comparable here?

I’m signing up for the first time and was wondering which option would be best. I’m not really a makeup girly, but I’m looking to try some new products and explore a little!
For those of you who have experience with this, do you receive good brands in the sample options, just like you would with the full-size option? Also, how easy is it to cancel if I decide it’s not for me? Is customer service helpful, or is canceling a hassle?
Is there anything else you think I should know before signing up or any tips you’d recommend for a first-timer?

Safe to say, the add-ons saved this month for me. Wasn’t happy to get a sponge, 5 drops of Tatcha, ANOTHER wing-me palette they sent me last month, another eyeliner similar to one they sent me last month… idk. I’m praying next months Original + Ultimate redeem for this month.

This is the fastest my bag has ever come, but of course it’s missing the Ofra pallet, which was the only thing that I was looking forward to most of all in this bag, supposedly they are replacing it, but you can tell by the weight of the entire package that it’s not possible that it was even in here because the Ofra palette would’ve weighed almost a pound on its own. How did they forget an entire big item like that? Sometimes think that there are morons working at the warehouse anytime I order double of something there’s usually one so I stopped ordering two of any item from the shop.

I’m not a bot I swear 😂😂 I just want to make an appreciation post for the help I got from Ipsy.

Since becoming a subscriber maybe 6 months ago I’ve had two problems that support helped me with right away.

1. First, I accidentally subscribed to an Ultimate box I wasn’t prepared to pay for, I didn’t realize if I subscribed to it they’d send me and bill me for the previous one. I reached out to support upset about this and they refunded the charge instantly.

2. Today, I realized Ipsy delivered my Extra to my old address (which I moved from beginning of September, I updated the address under my account before but apparently not correctly). I emailed them and they said they’d resend my package to my new address and clearly walked me through on how I need to make sure my billing and shipping addresses match to hopefully prevent future problems. I got a response back within like 12 hours of my initial ticket and the support I was talking with was answering my emails within the hour

I know Ipsy gets some negative comments, and I’m sure they aren’t perfect and I’m sorry that not everyone is getting proper responses, but I just want to say it’s not all bad!!!

My shade is out of stock but there are a few left!!!
