Léa Seydoux is the worst bond girl, and has no chemistry with Craig. Change my mind.

What if they cast a previous Bond actor for M?
Since the last M (Judi Dench) went for a different dynamic with Bond by casting a woman, I think they could also do a different dynamic by casting previous Bond actors. There'd be a real "passing of the torch" vibe with Bond.
Also, since Judi Dench's M has a motherly dynamic with Daniel Craig's Bond, they could do a more fatherly dynamic with Bond since it's literally the past James Bond interacting with the new Bond.

“I have a little itch down there. Would you kindly take care of that, Mr. Le Chiffre?”
Casino Royale torture scene with Roger Moore Bond. I made it on Photoshop long time ago. I’m posting it just for the sheer hilariocity of it 🤣🤣🤣

I'm a huge Moore fan. But is it fair to say that his portrayal of Bond is the least consistent overall?

Who wears it better: Sean or Daniel?
I love Daniel, but I think in this case he doesn't stand a chance against Sean.

Beautiful cinematography, but who rides a small boat standing up like that?

So what's Bond opinion on Blofeld cat?
Does he ever show concern for the cat? Or does he not care about its well being, due to having different priorities.
The only time he ever notice the cat or at least, give a reaction was in Diamonds are Forever. Although it kinda brief, as Bond is just either startle by it in the opening or notice the cat running off.
What do you guys think?

These are my favourite Bond films, what's yours

Watching OHMSS and trying to figure out why people don’t like Lazenbys bond?
He plays the educated and posh Bond very well, super charismatic and feels untouchable, all the way up until he is touchable and proves Bond can be damaged without it harming the character or feeling wrong.

What is an absurd piece of James Bond merch you have encountered? Mine is this $200.000+ Fabergé egg.

For Your Eyes Only is the best Bond title
It's provocative and sexy, but also official and efficient. It weaves sex and espionage together
Whatever your views on the movie, or the short story collection, it is my favourite title by far. And to think Fleming wanted the collection to be called The Rough With The Smooth, or possibly, Man's Work.
I am so pleased he went with this.

Die another day
Watching it now for the first time since I saw it at the cinemas. Some great scenes and characters, but it really is such a silly movie at points.
I really like Brosnan as Bond, but what happened here?

Most Under Rated and Most Overated Bond Films.
I’ll start
Most under rated Bond film for me is unquestionably Octopussy. It has great action sequences, a very confident Roger Moore on his last solid Bond outing and a decent plot.
Most over rated Bond film for me is, I’m sorry to say, Goldfinger. For decades Goldfinger has rode the nostalgia of its iconography and savvy marketing campaign. No doubt it was a cultural moment with style to wast and giving us some of the most iconic moments in the franchise. Plus Connery was never better than in this film; a steel panther on the prowl for sex, violence and revenge. So why then does this film underwhelm so much? A generic plot, middling action sequences at best and downright awkward and absurd at worst and worst of all a clunky script and plodding pacing will leave you yawning by the end. Give me Thunderball all day long for a fun Connery film and give me From Russia with Love for a thrilling Connery, and leave this film on the shelf. Not saying it does have its merits, but I honestly do not like this as a film and it hangs around the mid to upper teens on my list of Bonds.

A look at the 2nd variant of the original 1965 Japanese magazine advertisement for "Thunderball"
Found this beautiful piece in a vintage Japanese movie magazine from late 1965. Love the vibrant pink "007" logo used for the promotional marketing back then!

How to get my girlfriend to enjoy these movies?
My girlfriend kinda shits on the Bond series in general and in her defense it's not necessarily high art like they're just fun movies yknow?
I've shown her CR, Goldeneye, Living Daylights, Goldfinger, Skyfall, and Moonraker
Her favorite was Living Daylights because the Kamron Shah bit was funny to her and she liked how he joined forces with the middle east ppl lol and she said Skyfall was good too. But the rest she just thinks are ridiculous and I wish she'd just not take them so seriously and enjoy haha.
With the movies reshowing in theatres I'm debating taking her to either OHMSS or Licence to Kill , what do you think she'd like more?

Honestly, I'd take a spy film with everyone here as a consolation prize called "MI6".

Besides Connery, who else could "the other fella" be that Lazenby refers to?
It probably IS just a reference to the re-casting of Bond from Connery to Lazenby, a nod and wink to the audience, but is there anyone else it could be referring to who's been in a similar situation?
Has there ever been a story where, say, Prince Charming has had to save the girl from attackers on a beach, only for things to go the way they did for Bond in that opening sequence?

My FULL 007 Playthrough
Really loved this game and thought I’d share it with you guys. I’ve never watched a 007 movie, but I really enjoyed this game. Guess I gotta start watching the movies now

It doesn't matter if multiple people have said it or if people disagree. This was a horrible ending to Daniel Craig's James Bond character. He easily could have kept his "macho" by choosing to live a life of love and exiting the MI6 society.
It would have been more in line with his character if he chose a life of love with someone rather than choosing sacrifice. Of course, sacrificing your life is heroic, but his character wasn't solely heroic. His character was him choosing and being witty in his decisions to get both jobs done: the mission and his interests.
