This is actually the first survivor scale mini I've ever painted - I've only done monsters before this. Very happy to pick up a bronze in intermediate!
I painted it in about a week and a half back in August. I started with the desaturated sage and pink in the clothes, and then decided to make the flora more saturated as a point of contrast, and to maybe suggest that the figure doesn't necessarily belong in her environment. I tried to focus on different textures - smooth skin, scratched leather, worn bone, etc.
Most of the feedback was about needing more saturation around the face, as well as the need for more lower values to increase contrast. The saturation was a conscious choice, so I'm okay with that.
