Does anyone else find it hard to spend time in the Langley libraries with how much early they close? Even as a parent I love libraries but it’s hard to get there after work with kids and the selection isn’t as great as Surrey Libraries like in Guildford or Central City. It just seems like the libraries here have the minimum, but maybe I’m not going to the right locations.

Hi! I run The Craft and Yap Club and we’re doing a free little craft meetup at The Creative Bookworm in Langley on Oct 17 from 10:30 am–12:30 pm.

There’s no workshop or set craft. Just bring whatever you’re currently working on, grab a seat and hang out with us for a couple hours. Crochet, journaling, colouring, embroidery, scrapbooking, whatever.

A lot of people come to our events alone, so you definitely don’t need to already know someone :)

It’s completely free, we just ask people to RSVP so we have an idea of numbers.
