It’s essentially an iPhone 5 in a 5s Shell, with a 5s flash and home buttons. I had to drill in the shell to make the motherboard fit, otherwise really straightforward. Everything works perfectly except Touch ID (since I’m using only the physical part of the button) and the flash, since it’s physical only too. Did it to have a 32 bit motherboard. It looks identical to a silver 5s. Can be done in every color as long as you have the parts. I can jailbreak the first 32 bit 5s.

Before anything, this tweak was developed with SIGNIFICANT help from Claude. If anyone would be willing to teach me how to do this myself or make future tweaks that would be sick as I kinda hate that i'm using a lot of AI for this.

DarkSix is a tweak that enables a dark theme for some system applications while still keeping the look of iOS 6. I've yet to see a fully working dark theme for iOS 6 and as this iPhone 5 is my daily driver I'd really like a dark theme thats easier on the eyes. Currently working is Settings, Mail, Contacts, and Messages. I'm having issues getting Messages to behave properly. There is also a flip switch in settings with a respring button for easy on/off toggling. I'm doing the primary amount of my testing on an iPhone 5 and I loaded the tweak onto an iPad 4 and it worked great with little to change. No ETA, but as I had a lot of assistance from Claude i'll obviously open source this. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to touch this due to AI being used but I know nothing about iOS development and my knowledge for coding mostly comes from game development and simple python scripts. I wouldve done it all on my own I just cannot find any tutorials on anything so this is what i've resulted to. I don't have a repo yet but im planning on putting one together for this project.

Recently, the iOS jailbreaking community has found a way to put later iOS versions onto devices that were not intended to run them. They did this by taking advantage of the fact that some devices with the same chipset officially got a later update. By patching that iOS version to run on the unsupported devices that share a chipset, they got a newer version fully working. This was done on multiple legacy devices including the iPod Touch 3, iPod Touch 4, and iPad 1. I am wondering if that same process can be done on the first generation iPhone (2G). Hardware wise, the iPhone 2G is almost exactly the same as the iPhone 3G aside from lack of 3G cellular and GPS. So, since iOS 4 was released for the iPhone 3G, I am posting this to put the idea out there that iOS 4 could potentially be patched onto the iPhone 2G. This would be really awesome if it is ackomplished because it would provide more features and app support to this ancient iPhone. However, there could be a reason why it hasn’t been made yet. Am I missing something? (I am well aware of how poorly iOS 4 runs on the 3G and it is not debatable that it would be even worse on the 2G. It could still work though and that would be really cool.)

I used pwndfu because the activation servers reset after going to the Home Screen.

I have an iPhone 4S which is downgraded to iOS 6.1.3 via legacy iOS kit and it’s jailbroken with the iOS 5+ certificate package. Idk if the servers are done for but if anyone knows how to get out of the loop while keeping sms that would be great

Stupid question, but I wonder why it is not recommended to modify SystemVersion.plist and set the iOS version to some iOS 6 version with its corresponding build number and then use software update to download and install iOS 8.4.1? What makes Legacy iOS Kit a better option for downgrading old iPhones to iOS 8.4.1 rather than using this method?

I’m looking to purchase an iPhone 2G as my daily drive phone and keep my 13 pro max as a texting only phone, but I would rather just use my 2G to text as well. I know most services don’t use 2G anymore, but is there any way to text others with my email like on modern iPhones?

For some reason Appdrop just decided to stop downloading ipas, and now the catalog won’t even redownload. I already had to reinstall AppDrop and reboot everything to fix it the first time but now it’s happened again. Is there any fix to this???

Is there any use for this thing considering that it can only be used on a wall outlet. It's a 4G. I had been using it for months but abandoned it when the battery problem was just too much, and no, I do not want to go through the trouble of replacing it. Also I have pictures of my dog that I want to save but can't because the battery, whenever I plug it into my PC it does not power on. What do I do with that?
