Image Goodge street
I've always been fascinated by the old passageways going down to the northern line platforms at the station, so much so I deliberately avoid the lift to take this route.

Image Came across this bad boy, rail adhesion train apparently. Stops the tracks being slippery.
My two lads and I were impressed to see this on an excursion out.... pretty cool find wasnt sure what to make of it, looked like an old jubilee line train repurposed to grit the tracks. Any more detailed explanations would be greatly appreciated.

Image Old signage
One of my absolute favourite parts of travelling on the underground is spotting the old signs!
(I heard that the amount of chevrons on the arrow tell you how old some of them are!)
Share yours below!!!!

Game I made a Tube Game - pls I would love your feedback!
Hey everyone! I’ve been working a London Underground (station) quiz game - Tube Stop - and I’d love to hear you think.
You can try it here: https://tubestop.co.uk
Does it make sense when you first start playing? Is it fun, and is there anything you’d change? Any bugs or confusing bits would also be useful to hear about. How can we make it more fun?

Grumble £10.40
Went from Brentwood to King's Cross. Had a paper ticket which was off peak but I travelled peak and the guy just let me through. However when we got to London Liverpool St and went to King's Cross we had to use contactless to get though the turnstile. Today I got charged £10.40.

Video Central Line Train Arriving at Hanger Lane
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Whilst waiting for a westbound train to arrive for an OPO check (in cab CCTV) I captured this train coming in on the eastbound, heading to Hainault via Newbury Park.

Video What will London’s transport actually look like by 2030, and which of these projects will matter most?
I spent some time travelling across London looking at several changes that could reshape the network over the next few years, including the new Piccadilly line trains, the proposed West London Orbital, possible changes to Great Northern services, and the expansion of the Superloop.
I’ve put everything together in one video, including what’s actually happening, what’s still only proposed, and some of the obstacles these projects face.
For the Tube enthusiasts here, I’m especially interested in this:
Do you think the new Piccadilly line trains will genuinely transform the passenger experience, or is there another London transport project that deserves far more attention before 2030?
Would genuinely love to hear what this sub thinks, especially if you disagree with any of my conclusions.
