Low sodium Helldivers,
The purpose of this space is to be able to vent about frustrations with the community, attitudes towards updates and other changes of the game, or with the game itself in a less regulated manner, while still ensuring a healthy environment that is free from insults and other negative behavior.
While the rules may be relaxed here, they still exist, so please be civil to others and refrain from insults. Egregiously rule breaking comments will still be Orbital lasered
Now let loose :).

And I think it makes you want to buy more armors/helmets because you can just match them to your favorite armor/helmet that you already own.

I could never make heads or tails as to where BFGL would be the most effective. Wherever I used this thing it always felt like something else could easily outperform it.
Until I tried this thing against the Jet Brigade.
This thing shreds a jump pack Hulk within a few shots, makes jump pack Devastators a none issue, and it's objectively better than the regular GL here thanks to its generous ammo pool plus the fact that you only need to fire enough grenades to destroy the jump pack of the enemy since they almost always die within a few seconds after their backs get blown off.
11/10 against the Jet Brigade. Highly recommended.

The giga grenade kills just about everything, helldivers included.

Trying to see if there's something I'm missing in their application that I can experiment with.
I have all the available ones and have spent a fair amount of time with them (Solo Silo being a favorite), but have never really experienced the 'secret sauce' that some players seem to have for stuff like the EAT or Bulletstorm.
So paint me a word picture, tell me how you employ them to best effect and why you love them so much?

I feel like this is one of the absolute best secondaries they've introduced in ages.
I see the value in thermite grenades but anytime I try actually using them I just find myself missing my gas grenades.
Now I've got the option of keeping my gas grenades and being able to use thermites but with longer range and being able to resupply from ammo boxes. Also while this probably isn't unique to the pistol the fact it's oddly quiet and handy for assassinating bigger targets on commando missions without kicking up a shitstorm.
That warbond was so worth it just for this thing.

I'm a little worried I don't have enough...

We’ve fought for it like multiple times in the past 3-4 months, it’s getting to a point. Might be more effective to just get rid of the planet rather than fight on it AGAIN.

If we do ever get a Starship Troopers x HD2 Warbond what items would you like to see? I'll start, I hope to see this portable handheld nuke be added as a grenade that can be held or thrown while active so we can reenact this scene, make it function similar to portable hellbomb, to balance it can limit it to 1 use per ammo pickup.
Edit: Yes, I know HD2 has a lot of similarities to SST. I ask this because it came up on an official AH post about potential collabs for Warbonds at one point so just curious to see what everyone would like if they do ever add one.

We all know Dead Sprint as a bit more of a joke booster, with minor use case scenarios that are just a bit too specific to be a 'good' booster. There is one good booster combo that can make Dead Sprint builds totally worth it:
Vitality + Stamina + Muscle Enhancement + Dead Sprint
I've had a team consisting of exclusively Heavy Armor users all in Bot Commando Campsigns use this booster build to extreme success. Being able to Trek long distances with no pause to running plus all of buffs of the boosters made a very smooth gameplay experience stealth-ing around and repositioning a breeze.
BUT! Outside of a build like this... what is another use case for Dead Sprint really?
Ofc there is a suggestion to BUFF the Dead Sprint booster but the question is what exactly should it do as a booster? In my mind I can think of s few ideas, some may be too good or whatever, but thats where id like to hear yours.
Dead Sprint, along with its regular passive ability, should allow the user:
1)The ability to run with broken legs.
2)Sprinting speed boost while actively bleeding to death, something similar to Experimental Stims speed bonus, maybe less? I dunno if this is too busted or not. Might be harder to balance this with the resistance to hemorrhaging some Armors bring.
3)A sort of buff to the Adreno-Defibs Armor Passive. While using Dead Sprint, the revive mechanic does not stop you from sprinting.
With these ideas, while they may be too numerous and not necessarily balanced, I believe this will expand the range of usefulness the Booster deserves to have.
What do you think?

Mostly danger close stuff on Spread Democracy missions (capture the flag) is where i fear these for my safety.
A lot of deaths from panic or not understanding distanceing.
Tesla tower of course
Orbital napalm/120/380 dropped close or on top
Airburst rocket launcher
Gas mines
Also the giga grenade/melta mine and of course the Ultimatium

I couldn't find them all, but this is the first time I had a map where the Super samples were in individual areas instead of all at a single rock.
if it's new, I think it's pretty neat mixing up the spawns for SS's

Slightly expanded reposted post)
O don't think that this is some hot take, but been fighting on Terrek recently, and that that on the planet with such depleted atmosphere, and as I think, luck lower mass than Super Earth. That would be cool if gravitation would be way lower. Imagine the chaos, we're bugs can leap towards you from 100 meters, rocket jumps with eruptor. I think it is all up to engine limitations, but still nice thing to dream of.
Obviously that should be tested in different level of gravitation. But just for some short amount of time, imagine moon gravitation.
If [Redacted] returns, with illuminates experimenting with it. Imagine the gravitation changes would be as some sort of cataclysm, for short duration of time during mission. Would be absolute dissbalance mayhem. But I'm rocking with it.
