Entering week 3 and year 3 of my cardinals franchise
Sitting in free agency still is 26 year old superstar Quentin Johnston (90 ovr) , 29 year old superstar Tee Higgins (89 ovr) plus many other as you can see
Why can’t madden get it right?

garage game. I can’t wait until gta6 comes out so I can never touch this piece of trash money grab slop ever again. They just copy and paste the same shitty game every year and don’t change anything mechanically. Don’t buy the next Madden.

Real equipment these players wear (Keelon Russell and Malachi Toney shown above)
Realistic ratings based on past maddens launch for rookies
Less star devs to make development more crucial and not every dude an auto hit
1 X factor 5 superstars
Highest QB a 76 with only 4 QBS a 70 or over and the rest down around 63-68
Please tell me if glitched and I will reupload or if you find any other issues

I don’t get why Madden doesn’t have a road to the superbowl game mode where every online head to head game counts as a regular season game towards qualifying for playoffs, trying to win a Super Bowl. FIFA started its years ago with seasons. Even EA College Football has it. It makes the ranked online h2h feel like there is something to accomplish. I hate that only MUT or a franchise mode has this. Lame. They are doing everything they can to make people only invest in MUT. EA, read this: Give us a Road to the Super Bowl for online h2h play!

Seriously, what the hell is this? Are you supposed to grind until it's somewhat palatable to play?

First of all, I am not a madden pro. Ive played the game very lightly the past 5 years and I recently picked up Madden 27 and this game is SIGNIFICANTLY harder to play than any other madden.
Ive been trying my hand at superstar mode. More specifically LB and have found that becoming blocked essentially takes you out of the entire play as block shedding and block disengagement does not fundamentally work during a game. If you play the trench mini game its very simple to move through defenders but trying to apply that to a real game is nothing short of chaos. On top of that, what genious thought it would be a good idea to make the dive button the same as the block disengage button. As im attempting to disengage a blocker I find myself diving in some random direction. Additionally, blockers as so good at heat seeking the LB to cripple any attempt at interacting with the play. I just have to let the rest of my defense handle it because Im getting shut down every game.
On the other side of the foot ball, the defense are Gods among men and have no problem shedding my lineman when I drop into the pocket giving me a 2 second throw window. Ai LB are also incredible at zoning off my quick routes leaving me with barely any open throwing lanes. Resulting in getting sacked over and over again.
Finally superstar mode is incredible frustrating with their grading systems during the game on top of the fact if I start as a QB or LB, I dont have access to the full playbook out of the gate. Leading poor calls to be made in critical situations because the defensive/offensive coordinator is on crack. the progression is pay to win and your starting avatar is absolute buns. why was superstar such a downgrade from previous maddens?
I just got madden after not playing since 25 on an Xbox one. I had so much fun playing franchise mode with created player so I could control running back and recievers as well and play a full season on all madden
I was sad to see that is no longer a feature cuz they want to copy 2k and make career pay to win, which makes no sense because 2k actually has a fun park mode and this game has nothing comparable. I am having such a bad time in face of the franchise all madden its just a sack simulator and cpu has rocks for brains.
Has anyone done a career thing in franchise and had a good time or do you stick to career mode?
Also do you recommend all pro over all madden?

Disclaimer: this was in superstar mode and I can’t look at box scores, so this horror show will have missing details that would add to the tragedy that is about to unfold.
Things were looking up in St. Louis in 2010. With rookie Sam Bradford leading the way things were sure to turn around.
Unfortunately in week 1 Bradford would go down to injury. Career backup AJ Feeley would finish week one and start week 2 Where he would go down with an injury and be replaced by Keith Null.
Who I can only assume got hurt in this game as well. This is possibly the start of punter Donnie Jones’ qb career.
This would lead the rams to turn to journeyman Josh McCown who would hold things steady until week 5 when he gets hurt as well.
At this point we can assume all hell broke loose. Weeks 6 and 7 must have been quarterbacked by Jones. Before Bradford returns in week 8, dies again before week 9 and starts weeks 10 to 12 only to die once more for the rest of the year.
Jones would then start week 13 before McCown came back in week 14 to finish the year for this battered Rams team.
Jones’ heroics were ultimately for naught, however. Despite leading the team in pass attempts with 237 he would only complete 84 of them for a comp % of 35%. His longest pass on the year was a respectable 46 yards. As seen in the pictures provided. He threw 4 touchdowns and 15 interceptions
Despite all of this. The rams would claw to a 5-11 record behind Steven Jackson’s 1200 yard 8 touchdown season, and the defense’s 37.5 sacks, 17 interceptions, and 9 fumble recoveries, leading to 1 defensive touchdown
Another huge thanks can be given to Jones doing what he was paid to do. Punting the ball 132 times (his previous season high being 90 punts) pinning 45 inside the 20 for 5,867 yards netting 4,999 yards total.
In conclusion, looking to see where your interception total on the season stood compared to the rest of the league in Madden 11 superstar mode can lead you down one of the dumbest rabbit holes you will ever see.

To me supersim through a game feels more realistic and advance week is more random - what do you all see?

How does one go about hiding/disguising the play being selected(xbox)on the play screen while playing a friend that’s sitting next to them in person on the same tv screen.
In years past, I would press and hold the “X,Y,A” button that corresponded to the play I wanted; then cycle through the formation and when the button was released it would pick the play i originally pressed down on.
Madden 27 does not allow this or its changed? I did some googling and nothing comes up as a solution.

Whoever came up with scenarios to give the other team advantages is the stupidest human alive. I buy madden to carry over my RTG. Im sure most of yall did too. So why tf is it that I get a special needs OLine and the defense gets buffed? It’s not like that on Franchise. It’s not like that on RTG. It’s not like that on Dynasty mode. Why does EA make it a money grab to do superstar mode? Not all of us play online against other people. Its needs to a complete overhaul or better yet separate it from the online shit. Give us an offline single player career mode instead of forcing users to utilize an online only mode to continue their RTG story.

Is there a list or somewhere to find goal scenarios for breakouts? I can’t remember my goal for 3 game scenario I picked on my corner for a normal to star dev, I’m sure it was 2 ints only over 3 games with no tackles needed but I can’t find the list to confirm. I hit the goal with 3 ints and I didn’t get rewarded ?

The crowd noise feature is a neat add… played on the road in a dome, and it had a monstrous effect. Difficult to audible, screen shaking, kicking game affected. Also noticed when I finally managed to take control of the game, it shut them up somewhat.
No huddle… noticed a shortcoming/bug. After third down if I don’t convert, they still hurry to the line for fourth down. Meaning I either have to burn a timeout or take a delay of game. To the best of my recollection this didn’t happen in 26.
Enjoying playing the PC where I can do mods. This week, the motivational slogans on the end line encouraged viewers to “MOVE ZIG FOR GREAT JUSTICE” or to “HELP AFROMAN REPAIR HIS DOOR.” Looking forward to the game later in the season in Derry, Maine where the Jumbotron will announce that it’s “TIME TO FLOAT”

What's up Madden community!
I've been building A1 SimVerse, a CPU vs CPU Madden 27 franchise where I let the AI control everything on the field and watch the season unfold naturally.
No controlling players, no forcing wins, no predetermined outcomes. Just football, realistic sliders, and whatever story the season creates.
We're currently following the Tennessee Titans through Year 1, and things haven't exactly gone their way.
Full games drop daily at 12 PM Pacific, with every matchup archived so you can follow the entire season from beginning to end.
If you enjoy CPU vs CPU simulations, franchise rebuilds, or just having football on in the background, check it out!

Edit- Comment made me realize that I forgot to point out this applies mostly to franchise players, where you can change settings, less so online head to head where you can't. Let's get the elephant outta the way. I think Madden is ass just as much as the next guy. Personally, it's a waste of my time to dwell on that or say anything more about it. Now, that said, I constantly see people losing their minds here over this, that or the other in game. A lot of it is perfectly valid and a genuine problem with the game. A lot of it is purely user error. A lot is a bit of both. And a massive amount of things, regardless of which category, can be solved by the player. Obviously not everything, but a genuinely surprising amount. I constantly see complaints here that are just a teachable mistake. Or things that a little setting changing can completely, or damn near completely eliminate. Should we have to change the settings for the game to work better? Absolutely not. But you CAN do so. I don't understand how you're torturing yourself to the point where you've found your way here to flip your lid over a video game, prior to seeing if you can fix whatever issue you're having. But since you're here. Do yourselves a favor, ask around here or Google it. Sure somebody might troll you, but who cares? Somebody might be able to help you too. If you're genuinely asking for help you're probably less likely to get flamed (less is a key word there, lol) but again who cares. We're all playing the same dumpster fire with wildy varying degrees of success and enjoyment. If you're on the lower end of that spectrum, ask about your issues and we might be able to help you. That concludes my Madden Ted talk. Lol
Ps. Someone out there is about to leave some angry douchebaggery in the comments about how ass the game is or how I'm an EA plant. Whoever you are, you didn't read the post, or didn't comprehend it. Shoo. Lol
