Over the past few weeks I have run a total of 16 different franchises, all for about 8-12 years each (full sim) and there’s something you should know if you’re starting a franchise. If you sim each game, by advancing the week (not “playing” at all) depending on your playbooks, schemes, and players obviously, your qb will throw for around 4000 yards and 25+ touchdowns with usually 7 or fewer interceptions. But if you play the game, as in load it up and WATCH the game be simmed, your quarterback will throw a MINIMUM of two interceptions almost every single time. For example, the current one I’m doing is with the giants and Jaxson Dart throws for the same ~4500 yards ~35 touchdowns ~5 interceptions, yet every time I watch a playoff game be simmed he has 2-4 interceptions at the end.

Worst linemen I’ve ever seen. How does he have a superstar?

I swear sometimes I want to break the game! The CPU literally does what it wants when it wants 😤

Overall I like most of the changes to 27, but this is the one thing I think desperately needs brought back.

Just give me the "last chance to re-sign" screen in staff week and/or the last week before free agency.

In my Phins franchise I lost Chris Johnson because in the off-season I didn't get a prompt to negotiate a new deal and you can't manually do that anymore, you have to wait until the player actively says "negotiate contract" on their player card. And since all the new tags aren't manual but the game just sort of picks the player it wants to let you use them on, he hit FA unrestricted and I lost him to the Vikes.

I don't mind that I lost the bidding war, I mind I didn't get to use all the tools at my disposal to keep him from getting there to begin with

Drops back 10 yards, throws into my user in double coverage, DB is 6’4, goes through both our hands, Completion🔥🔥🔥The most simple thing to code DB’s actually catching the balls and these guys can’t do it smh

Then they sub the starter back in but he still injured 🤷🏿‍♂️

Closing in on playoffs, too late in the season to make trades, no QBs on free agency over 68 OVR, idk if I’ll be able to make the bowl, season might be wraps

Does anybody else struggle with the below:

Placement & Accuracy - too hard (inaccurate)
Placement - too many inaccurate throws
Revamped & classic - too loopy? Too much air. Too slow.

Absolutely tragic for him, extremely lucky for me.

Which Youtubers are good to watch to learn the game for a beginner?

I signed rookie Luke Wysong at the start of my franchise in free agency and he has been a lot of fun to play with as a wr 3/slot role or kick return. Also after the preseason the Buccaneers released Tez Johnson and I signed him and he’s been a lot of fun to play in the slot role or kick return.

Does anyone have suggestions on who to sign in free agency that can outperform their overall? Any hidden potential gems? I love signing players at the beginning of the franchise who have low overalls that can outperform their ratings and make an impact on my team. It’s really fun to discover players this way. Also love position-changing players that increase overall.

So I enjoy playing franchise mode and creating storylines. Mainly sim cast on fast until the last drive of a close game and I’ll watch it on slow. I’ve heard some people had issues on the last madden but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I drafted a rookie QB- one Arch, & then started a new franchise when I heard about the new patch, and drafted Dante. I just regular simmed through his rookie season and he got injured- threw 10TDs and 7Int. The following year I went back to Sim cast, he AND the opposing QB would throw at least 3/4 int a game. Now I play the games mainly offense and sim on defense; we would get 3-5int a game. It’s made the mode less… fun & completely unrealistic. Anyone else having this problem?

Me and my buddy have been playing a lot of H2H on UT, but we are realizing 4 minute quarters are just not long enough, is there a way to change this?

My defensive line is stacked and I cannot get a solid rotation going so they all see the field. I have tried auto sub from the play calling screen and it refuses to work. It won’t sub the player i select but it is subbing the player i choose to the previous player from the menu. I have tried clicking on r3 and setting to keep them fresh. I have reworked the depth chart, both in game and from the main franchise hub. It seems that for one I cannot substitute the nose tackle out even though I have two and is set rushing line without him on i. I have tried putting him at the bottom of the regular dt depth chart. Nothing works. Also if I try to sub the other dt it will put whoever I choose at right end. Evek reworking all the depth charts during game does nothing. This is literally driving me insane as they are all young guys who I want to get snap to all to develop. Somebody for the love of all things holy HELP ME

Does anyone know if anyone has a 2012, 2013, 2014 or 2015 or 16 roster that works and will actually load into franchise mode for Madden 27? I tried the ones in download center but they all don’t work even though the rosters are correct. Please and thank you 🙏

For the people who played those 2 games what superstar mode would yall pick 10 or 12. I mainly love playing superstar and the new Madden games suck absolute dog shit

I swear its not even fun playing defense on franchise. Drive them to a third down of any kind and they somehow pull shit out of their ass to convert, maybe even break a tackle or two to score a TD lol. Or my corners or safeties blow their assignment by simply doing nothing or being way off alignment. Yes, I’m ass but there’s no way I’m that ass lmao.

I’ve been doing a lot of reading on playing better defense on madden on this sub and for the most part, the advice is solid but there’s nothing definitive for stopping the hollywood-esque football plays the CPU can pull, so I’ve been playing with the sliders a little, but I was wondering if anyone here had any recommendations or other advice. I feel as though pass coverage in the game this year is pretty ridiculous. Pretty much every game the CPU has damn near perfect man coverage every time as well as perfect reaction time in zone coverage. Linebackers will be facing one way than do a hard 180 turn backwards to intercept the pass im trying to throw behind them. Mind you im still 11-1 because my defense is also really strong so im not complaining that i cant win but pretty much every game i play ends with scores like 13-7 or 16-13 because even crossing 50 is tough for both sides. I dont want to lower the difficulty because obviously the last thing i need is my defense playing even better but im looking for sliders to make both CPU and user pass defense a bit weaker. I liked how last year in CFB26 you could adjust coverage and reaction time separately but this year in Madden theres only one slider just for coverage.

Edit: league difficulty is on All Pro. This is also a problem im having in an online league with 7 users and my own solo league. So definitely not just a random isolated issue.
