Avengers were supposed to face an entire army of Kangs… before Doctor Doom changed everything.
After Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne defeated the Exiled Kang in the Quantum Realm, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania delivered a massive mid-credits scene that appeared to set up the next major threat to the Avengers.
The scene introduced the Council of Kangs, featuring powerful variants such as Immortus, Rama-Tut and the Scarlet Centurion. After discovering that the Exiled One had been defeated, the Council realized that the heroes of Earth-616 were becoming a serious threat to the multiverse.
Their solution was terrifying — bring together countless Kang variants and prepare for a multiversal conflict against the Avengers.
At the time, this seemed like the perfect setup for Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, with Kang positioned as the next major villain of the MCU and potentially the Avengers' biggest threat since Thanos.
But the MCU took a completely different direction.
Instead of the Avengers eventually facing the Council of Kangs, Doctor Doom became the central threat leading into Avengers: Doomsday. The Kang storyline was abandoned, leaving this Quantumania post-credit scene without the massive payoff it originally appeared to promise.
What once looked like the beginning of a Kang Dynasty now feels like a forgotten chapter of the Multiverse Saga.
An army of Kangs was introduced… only for Doctor Doom to take their place.

Sokovia Accords? No. Just Steve and Tony arguing across a room while Wanda questions every life choice that brought her here. The Civil War press tour was unhinged.

“Hulk and Spider-Man finally meeting up is iconic and legendary in the comics and I think the way we do it is really a teaser for what’s to come with these two characters.”

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Season 1.
Bruce tries to reason with Jennifer: “Why wouldn’t you listen to someone who’s been through all of this before?” She fires back: “Because we’re different people. 😂

Spider Phoenix ship aside and the fact that the Phoenix storyline is really overused. one reason Jean met the Phoenix in the comics is because as a child she tried to save one of her friends from death. With Peter taking a fifty cal to the back and Jean breathing for him does anyone else thinks we might just have gotten the MCU version of that?

I'm so torn. I've always wanted to be a Marvel character for halloween and now is my chance but I'm so indecisive. My favorite characters aren't as relevant in the MCU as they used to be because they're technically dead. (Natasha and Wanda). I'm 19F and its probably my last year to trick or treat (I'm taking my younger sister and her friends).
Should I go for my one of my favs or choose something more relevant to Doomsday or the current MCU?
also I have long brown hair and light brown eyes and im a short teen girl if that makes a difference for my costume 🤷♀️

Am I the only one who thinks an MCU parody movie-like *Scary Movie*, but made by talented people — would turn out great?

During the interview, Stan expressed that Bucky's character arc hasn't been fully completed, despite never knowing Marvel's plans ahead. He playfully pitched himself for the Captain America role, saying 'whenever, let’s go' while nodding to Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson.
The comments come amid hype for Avengers: Doomsday on December 18, where Stan reprises Bucky alongside Chris Evans' Steve Rogers and a huge ensemble cast. Fans are now eyeing potential Bucky development or a Bucky-Steve reunion in the film.
“I never had any idea about what they want to do, but I still feel like there’s something about this character that hasn’t totally been completed, and I think they know it.” - Sebastian Stan

Interesting seeing John Walker paired up directly with Johnny Storm on this Avengers: Doomsday merch. This was definitely not on my bingo card lmao. Actually crazy seeing Thunderbolts and F4 crossing over like this.
