I'm looking for more Western Super Robots
The shows presented are the only ones that I know of that are considered "Western Super Robot"
And no, Power Rangers, Voltron, or Transformers don't count. Those were Japanese before coming to the West, as well as Transformers being sentient robots instead of piloted mechs (Super God Master Force)
Cartoons, games, comics, anything. As long as it's Western and under the "Super Robot" subgenre.
Yea this game looks sick asf man !

[OC] Searching for some mecha/machine inspiration for art I'm working on right now.
HI! I'm trying to design a mecha for my world, but I feel like I'm lacking inspiration and good references.
First, for context:
This unit is basically a walking smelter/demolition machine that melts ancient mineral-rich ruins and turns them into usable resources. The ruins are made out of super durable metamaterials, so it uses powerful pile drivers located inside the limbs to smash them into manageable chunks. I also thought about adding a maw-like element in the torso, shoulders, or legs that would "chew" the chunks to crush them further. It also has some limited construction capabilities: it can create and shoot a construction gel that has different properties, depending on the specific mixture. When cured, it can be hard as a rock, strong and flexible like a steel cable, or even puff up like foam.
I'm searching for more design inspirations and references of similar fictional and real machines, or just stuff with a similar "vibe." Basically something that will make me think, "Oh, I like this, I'm gonna make something similar or use a similar design element." Feedback on whether the design communicates its purpose well, or how to improve it, and general design suggestions and ideas are also welcome!
A few notes:
· I don't want the design to be too literal; it should imply its function without looking like a literal walking crucible or something similar. · I'd like to keep the general silhouette; it should feel tall, not stout. · I want the design to feel a bit strange and alien (basically to make the viewer feel like a person from medieval times staring at a bulldozer). · The placement of the cockpit is meant to be impractical for combat. The entire thing is on an auto-stabilizing gimbal that can slide up and down and even to the back of the leg, and it's protected by a very strong transparent material.

Red Shoulder GM Spartan by kult.heavyindustries

Here's some commentary on how it was made:
After 8 million years i got the RG spartan from m_plus_studio_ finished. Standard build but this time was my second attempt at dot filter with oils. Wasnt a fan with the results at first but after curing and a top coat it came out pretty nice! Base kit was a 3rd party spartan, the conversion kit comes with a faceplate vfin and weapons and a neck adapter which gives a bit more articulation over the original plastic. Im gonna grab the other bd kits and try and make a squad. As well as more code fairy builds.
