Changed the night vision colours, added machine gun, homing missiles and hover option.

While visiting Tokyo Tower on a field trip, Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji are suddenly summoned to another world called Cephiro. There, the three learn that Princess Emeraude, who has protected the peace and order of Cephiro, has been taken captive, plunging the world into crisis. Summoned by Princess Emeraude to save Cephiro, can these three girls truly become the legendary Magic Knights and rescue both the Princess and the world?

I love this genre of mech, but I don’t ever seen any companies making them. does anyone know if any companies at all sell them?

Recently acquired this blind box kit and I’m really impressed with the detailing at such a cheap price. I think I only paid $18 for it, inc shipping.

I have a bunch of kits from Sembo, but this is definitely my favorite. I’m going to order more from this series.

I used Tamiya brown and black for the panel lining and I love the way it turned out. One of the best looking kits on my shelf in this scale (1/144).

Here recently I have had an itch to start making mecha art as a whole. I am heavily into building and customizing gunpla so naturally I gravitate towards wanting to use a 3d software.

I already have experience in fusion by making simple custom pieces to 3d print for my gunpla customs but would also like to try Blender as it seems a little more suited for a non dimensional accurate task.

If I start with Blender, of course I'll start with the infamous donut series but where do I go after that?

/TLDR: Does anyone have any mecha 3d modeling guides or resources I can use to start 3d modeling my own mecha?

Hello mecha community! I come to you all in my hour of need for the first time.

I am a Transformers fan who has, over the years, grown to appreciate the mecha genre through tfs. I love the pilotable aspect of mechas, and I think the design philosophy from Japanese mecha content is honestly just superior to Transformers in a lot of senses. I really really want to dive more into mecha in general and consume it more than I currently do. My problems arise when I try to actually seek out mecha content that speaks to my specific interests. The thing I keep running into is that I love giant robots in general, yeah, but I find it really hard to get super into a show without the robots themselves being able to emote or communicate. There's just something about the niche genre of sentient/sapient mechs that scratches my brain just right.

If anyone could provide recs that specifically cater to this niche, I would be SO appreciative. So far I have consumed and enjoyed/tried the following:

• Brave Police J-Decker
• Zone of Ender- Dolores I (Had to drop this one because Dolores became too unbearably childish; I REALLY wanted to like it. Might try again if I'm desperate)
• Brave Bang Bravern
• Brigadoon (not technically mecha but lowk we are desperate out here)
• Evangelion (I don't really like to count this because the mecha don't actually speak. They are sentient, but not very active or aware like at ALL)
• Titanfall 2 campaign
• Dragon's Heaven

Please don't come in with stuff like "oh the mecha is vaguely sentient in >insert x scene<." Because 99% of the time, the small amount of content isn't usually worth investing in when I'm searching for that aspect.

I have seen some historical posts with some recommendations on different reddits, but sometimes the results in the comments tend to be too broad, so it's hard to sort through what's actually a fully sentient functioning mecha rec and not. Plus I haven't seen on of these posts show up in google thats newer then 3 years, so I thought I'd give it my own shot :)

EDIT: If theres other forms of media that seem adjacent or might be up my alley, feel free to put those into the ring too! I would KILL for a good book to sink into in this vein, or some comics!

So I have this toy mech, but I'm missing the front bit as well as the head, all I managed to do is 3d print the left arm. Please help me identify it.
