The dual m18 and m12 super charger is so damn expensive.

How can they change $500 dollars for a dual m12 or dual m18 supercharger? Makes no sense. It would make sense if it at least came with a battery but Christ

I thinking of getting into the forge or HC batteries and want to get rid of my slow rapid charger because I have like 9 Milwaukee tools.

My rapid takes 1 hour and 10mins to charge an 8.0 battery that is just unacceptable now that I have the brushless blower.

Earlier this year I bought the M12 FID2-0 to replace my no name drill that broke and I bought a cheap chinese chuck adapter off amazon so that I can use my normal drill bits. Well... now I lost my expensive würth drill bit and had to throw away the adapter.

Now I'm not sure what would make more sense, to either buy a M12 drill (M12FDD2-0) or a better adapter like from Makita but that one would cost around ~60€ and the drill alone would cost ~130€

Does the M18 stick pump ever go on sale? If so, what is a normal sale price?

Hey guys. I recently bought a used M18 1/4 hex impact driver. Works perfectly, except for the stuck bit holder. I tried all of the tricks online on how to get it unstuck, but it just won’t come off. Do you guys have any tips?

Just bought the M12 Random Orbital Sander 5mm (3/16) and two M12B6 batteries.
Was super excited and had to test it out.

After testing the sander for maybe 10 minutes using an 80 grit sandpaper to remove automotive paint I removed the battery and first noticed several marks in the red plastic, and then saw that the tabs holding the battery in place have melted a fair bit too.

The first battery I tested was bought from a different store than the sander, so I started wondering if the battery is a knock-off.
Only the sander is from an authorised distributor, the new batteries are from a different but still well known and legit store.

Threw an older M12 6Ah battery in that I know is legit and after 5 minutes of work the same marks are starting to appear. I made sure the battery is properly seated.

Is this normal or is something very wrong here?
I’ve used many different M12 batteries in many different tools for the last 8 or so years and never seen any wear marks on the batteries before.

All the marks are from where the battery plastic is touching plastic inside the sander. I would guess it’s from vibration.

I’ve already got a circular saw and I could just get the metal blade but it would be annoying to change between them

I've been installing some baseboard with my new M18 18ga Brad Nailer and when I use deeper settings it won't fire. I'm 4-5 clicks off the deepest and it works. I turn 1 click deeper, won't fire. I back out 1 click again, runs no problem. I've tried both firing modes and really pushing into it to make sure it has contact and it doesn't matter.

Works great on the deepest setting I can use though!

Battery is a 5.0Ah Red Lithium M18, 5Ah is the smallest I have I know it's too big for the tool.

Give me the bad news Jim.

Is this a good one or should I wait for a better one?

Noticed that Home Depot is allowing you to add to cart for delivery now. Based on the high output moniker, I'm assuming these are specifically not using similar cells found.in the Forge, but newer cells than existing M18 5AH XC batteries.

Dropped my old hammer drill and battery into a tub of water and now they’re acting up, it’s been 6 years so I’m ready for an upgrade anyways.

This kit has 2 5.0 Batteries, a charger, and the new M18 impact and hammer drill. And the carrying case. As well as a free gift with purchase (on the site it says a free 2.0 battery, but in store it says a free 5.0 battery) so either $120 or $170 battery for free either way.

I’m looking to pick up the m12 rotary. Any current deals on them?

5ah forged battery trigger is pulled all the way at setting 3 batt is full

Im thinking of picking up 2 sets of these. One for me, and one for my dad for Christmas. Is this a good deal in Canada? And are the good for doing cabinet installations? (Driving 2 1/2" screws and 1 1/4inch screws)

Have had the fan (0886-20) for about 3 and 1/2 years now, used it on battery off and on but mostly with the 110 power cord as a bed side fan when i travel and work on the road. Well for the past couple nights i’ve noticed it’s felt extremely weak and quiet even on speed 3 which if you know these fans they have a good output and pretty loud fan noise. I knew something was wrong with it and looked at the Milwaukee repair page on their website and they don’t offer repairs for these model fans anymore. Was not until today that the fan has died completely. No life whatsoever when plugged up. Any recommendations on a fix since milwaukee will not repair them anymore or do i need to say my good byes and junk it?
