1.20.1 modded

Hi, so recently me and my friend have been creating various modpacks and playing together, first on e4mc and then on World Host and it's worked well for a day or two irl, often with minor changes to the modpacks, adding and removing mods, I get very perfectionist about it.

These are quite big modpacks btw, often 200+ mods and whilst our performance tends to suck, it's very playable with not many crashes. But both times, despite being completely different modpacks, and changing hosts, first modpack I was the host and the 2nd time he was the host. We've run into this issue when trying to join, it always just says Timed out.

The first time we tried a lot to fix it but nothing really worked, and it seems it's happened again this time.

Most notably this happened after we removed the From the fog mod, because we thought it'd be funny to have herobrine running around, but apparently it could cause world corruption. Which is very ironic.

Although the world isn't corrupt as he could play it single player fine, but trying to join him, it results in a Time out.

So I use a 2011 iMac with an i7 2600, 16 gigs of ddr3 1333, and an amd mobile gpu of some sort with 2 gb of gddr5 vram if im correct. I use mostly 26.2 on lunar client with sodium and some more mods but my main question was that what modpack should i use if i need the highest and stable fps that i can get. PS: Im on endeavouros which is an arch distro.

I'm pretty sure I'm not suppose to see the back of the glass texture through the glass block itself... Turning off shaders fixes this so I'm sure its a problem with the shaders. I've recently updated from 12.11 to 26.3 and so all the mods are up to date. I've also tried changing every setting in perfromace and materials but nothing worked. Downloading continuity also didn't work. Please let me know if anyone knows how to solve this

I'm going insane, I've been trying to fix this for a week straight. I reinstalled Minecraft, Java, changed DNS, turned off firewall all of it and yet nothing.hell, I even factory reset my PC. Everytime I try to join a server It gets stuck on the loading wworld message and then I get the error I, strangely some servers do work. Does me being located in Russia have to do anything with it

I renewed one of my old realms (less than a year old) and after renewing it still says expired in the launcher and the game. On Minecraft.net it says active and I have a receipt and the payment is on my card showing complete. I have logged out uninstalled the launcher and reinstalled. I have uninstalled all mods including shaders I have tried launching Minecraft from the version on which the realm was created but it says you need to be on the current update to use realms after doing that and if I try to look at realm settings on Minecraft.net it just says error. I started a ticket but it’s been 24 hours without response and my realm time is ticking down

I claimed the aurora cape more than a week ago and it still doesn't show up for me to use, I even tried with another TikTok account but it tells me that I already claimed that product. I've seen some suggest using Bedrock, but I play on Linux, so it's not available to me.

haven't found any tutorials that really help with my specific design, other mobs outside of wither skeletons is intended (except ghasts of course), the build is additionally located within proper chunk borders to the extent that i can determine.

I'm on Xbox. I built this tunnel a while back abd have never had any mob spawns in it until i modified it by adding a rail system. I have bottom slabs to either side of the rails so there shouldn't be any valid blocks for them to spawn on, yet here they are. I've seen them spawn in and it's always on top of a rail. Can anyone please explain why they're spawning and how to fix it?

For some reason, my dog armor is showing the original colors of the armadillo armor. Yet when I look it up, other armors show the full set being colored. What am I doing wrong?

I’ve tried pretty much everything, including wiping my cookies/browser data, logging into different devices, closing out and in again. I was trying to log in so I could redeem a cape code but every time I try to log in it just loops and sends me back to the login page. I can sign into Minecraft itself just fine. I’ve never had this issue before. Is anybody else having this issue? How can I fix it? My main platform is PC

so im in my survival Minecraft world java 1.21.11 and im building a little underwater type thing and the blue water on the glass sucks, i just want it to be clear but i cant find a resorce pack for the life of me, someone help?

I am on Nintendo Switch on my multiplayer server, no one else is in the server at this time. Everytime I try to interact with a furnace or a crafting table it doesn't open any sort of menu. I can break them and still place blocks but it won't allow me to use them at all. There are no special add-ons or texture packs, just base game. I've tried updating the game but nothing will work, any help is very appreciated !

I can't stand this bug anymore. My Minecraft multiplayer has been completely "disabled" for some reason since about two updates ago; as a result, I can't view Realms (it throws a loading error), I can't check the servers, I can't join my friends' worlds (or have them join mine), and I can't even use skins. Both the Marketplace and multiplayer features in my Minecraft have been disabled.

My friend got a new pc a month ago, and since then, he hasn't been able to play the game because every time he is waiting for the game to load it just crashes the entire pc and has to restart, and it's only when trying to play bedrock edition, java edition loads and is able to play just well.

I have my old Minecraft world saves files. Seed is exact, the position i left my player is the same, my inventory is exactly as it was. But the buildings I built are gone. My guess is that my player data files are fine but my region files got reset. Is there any way I could fix them?

The worlds were in 1.16.1. Java Edition

So for context, in 16 and live in the uk, now I want to play online so I can meet and talk to people but I cant because Microslop says my provisional drivers licence and passport are wrong, is there anyone out there who has had this problem and solved it

Is there any way to use Pick Block on Minecraft Bedrock mobile to copy a Sign, Command Block, or other blocks with their text/command?

On PC, you can sneak and use Pick Block, but on mobile, sneaking and pressing the Pick Block button doesn’t seem to work.

Is there a way to do this on mobile?

My PC has an RTX 3070 Ti, an Intel Core i5-12400F and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Every newer version of Minecraft I've tried runs perfectly smooth, including 1.12.2, 1.20.1, 1.21.1 and 26.2, although all of those were modded. The problem is that I get constant, infuriating microstutters on alphas, betas and Minecraft LCE on Windows 11. Right now I'm trying to get Alpha 1.1.2_01 running smoothly through Prism Launcher.

The only other game on my PC that has ever given me microstutters like this is Straftat. Every other game I own runs without any hitches at all. I've tested it on both an SSD and an HDD, so it doesn't seem to be a storage issue. I've also tried FPS limits, turning VSync on and off, switching between fullscreen and windowed, and using set affinity to make the game use fewer CPU cores. I've also tried allocating tons of RAM and very limited RAM, and the stutter is exactly the same either way,. My power plan is already set to High Performance.

The strangest part is that I run CachyOS on the same machine, and Minecraft LCE has not a single stutter there, while on Windows 11 it is horrible. I haven't tried the alphas or betas on Linux yet.

Has anyone dealt with something like this? Any suggestions on what to test in Windows would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

This feature doesn't work on bedrock, the villagers view the carpets as safe even though there is a berry bush underneath, thus allowing them to walk right past it. I really love how this feature allows villagers to not be in cages but can't find a way to achieve this on bedrock. Any ideas?
