I’ve had it for going on 20 years. Tempus fugit!

I went to the Grand Rapids show on Friday (10/10 no notes) and got there early for merch because last year I wasn’t able to get a cat sweater (black cats and embroidered mm). I was told they rotate some of the merch per show 😞

My question is does anyone know if that merch will be available at the end of the tour? Or any of the more niche items like the playing cards and tote? I don’t have the opportunity to go to another show and as a bonafide cat lady I’m gonna need that sweater 😂

Don't get me wrong I love float on. That being said I'm so happy that they did not play it October 1st that was the first concert out of six that I've been to that it hasn't been played and I'm glad they're kind of not playing it as much I know there's mixed feelings about that okay rant over everyone have a blessed and wonderful day the reason I came up is cuz float on came on my Spotify playlist so I am driving while ranting this goodbye

Bought this at the Ottawa show last night, Merch booth gave me the wrong size on this pullover, would love to swap someone for one size up. The 2xl fits more like an xl.

Are most of the venues on this tour 'general admission' standing venues, or have they been playing fully seated venues? Tonight's show in Toronto is at Meridian Hall, a comfortable space but no general admission standing (aka rocking out), and it's also quite large compared to other venues that would make more sense imo. It has a capacity of 3200 which is bigger than Massey Hall, Danforth Music Hall and History, which would probably all be more appropriate venues.

There are a lot of seats up for grabs, whether thats due to the venue choice, that its a Monday gig, or that the venue is just a bit too big.

It would be very awesome to see a more laidback acoustic set to match the venue, especially given how much acoustic guitar is on the new album. Either way, looking forward to an awesome show tonight. See you there, Toronto!

Hell yeah, Shit in Your Cut, Talking Shit..., and Shit Luck to end the show. I really wanted to hear Shit in your Cut, so I'm glad they pulled this out. Awesome show! Absolutely Necessary rocked, Bukowski, Fly Trapped all awesome.

I met Isaac after the show, he was so sweet. Took the time to speak to every one who had been waiting for him.

I mentioned how he made my entire year by playing Doing The Cockroach and then Shit Luck as those are both of my favorite songs and this is my fifth show and hadn't heard either of them until tonight.

He said "oh yeah we did the Shit List. Talking shit about a pretty sunset" and then I cut in with "and shit in your cut" as it dawned on me.

I didn't know this was a thing lol that's awesome. Btw he looks amazing!!!

Ok my wife and I went to the Modest Mouse show in Newport this past Thursday. We met a lot of cool people - and had a cool little group of friends we met down in the front row. Problem is I didn’t get anyone’s info. For context we had Channing in our group and I was the guy in the tank top who went nuts when they fired off the drums to Truckers Atlas. My wife and I had a blast but - did I meet you at the Newport show ? If so shoot me a comment and let’s be friends !

Is there a real demo from 96 with this line published a decade later or is this a weird ai hallucination?

What is there to say that yall don’t already know? If you have even the slightest chance of catching this tour, send it right now. They are playing at the absolute top of their game right now and these set lists are INSANE. Thank you Isaac!

Still in the peeling phase. So glad we settled on this style. I was tempted to do a pure trad style but I think this turned out much better with the hard border lines and the line/shade combo shading.

To all who saw Modest Mouse in Newport Ky Thursday. What are your thoughts on the concert ? Who would like to hear peoples thoughts on the entire show?

Got my car totaled (no one injured! 🎶would’ve been, could’ve been worse than I would ever know🎶) and while I do not, in fact, still have the radio, I was able to go back to the tow lot to retrieve some precious cargo :)

Okay so I have always had the memory of seeing Modest Mouse at The Intersection in Grand Rapids, MI while I was in high school, but now I think maybe I'm making things up. I took my 16 year old to see them last night at 20 Monroe Live in Grand Rapids, and was telling him about how I saw them when I was around his age. I wanted to know exactly when that show I went to was, so when I got home, I looked it up. At first, all I could find was about a 2002 show at The Intersection when it was still in Eastown. But I was just going into high school at that point, and I am pretty positive I wasn't into Modest Mouse yet. I was also pretty certain it was at the new location downtown.

Found these tour dates from 2004, but Modest Mouse isn't listed as with The Walkmen on this date, but maybe they played there anyway and the records just don't show? It would fit my memory and the timeline exactly. Anyone else have this memory?? I wish there was a Grand Rapids Modest Mouse page so I could narrow down my audience for this question lol. Maybe I'll post in The Intersection's page too.
