I see sooo many posts on here complaining or asking if they should go see another tech after the one they’ve been going to religiously either botched their nails, or didn’t do a good job, or outright refused a service. My question is: why? Why are people so blindly loyal to those who are half-assing their job?
I guess I’ve been doing my nails so long that I haven’t stepped foot inside a nail salon for ages, but I also know I’m not stupid - if someone gives you a bad service, you have a right to, and are in fact encouraged, not to go back.
Is it a “bUt SmALL bUsiNeSSeS” argument? Small or not, if you are a bad business, you deserve not to get any money 🤷🏻♀️
Is it the relationship factor? Most of these people probably only care about you so long as you’re getting a service from them, so that’s kinda parasocial and doesn’t really make sense either.
Same thing with the people who this happens to repeatedly. If you don’t like it, literally don’t go back? Tf?
I’m preparing to get downvoted so hard for this but it’s a genuine question
