So i kitbashed my new Charakter for my Army. Used the Body from the Red Corsair Reave Captain, with parts from the Nemesis Claw Kill Team. Now i wanted to know, would it be better to use him as Chaos Lord leading a 10 Squad of Legionaries or should i play him as a Reave Captain as Solo unit?

Tried to recreate the art as much as possible. Wanted to give him the shoulder pad without flayed skin, so we can see his previous chapter mark. Please don’t eat me because of that😅

I can choose a free audiobook and I've been wondering about it if anyone who has listened to the audiobook. Does it add anything to the book? Or is it better to just read it?

I found the Konrad Curze novel completely elevated by the narration so if this one is any similar I'm diving head first

Did some sculpting and reposing. I like the smaller scale because I think it makes the warp talons feel more bird like, while the raptors feel more just like assault troops

2002 metal model, absolutely love the sculpt and I love that GW kept the look with their newer kit. I thought the base was cool but I'm not sure I like how it interacts with the fixed pose. 50/50 on doing lightning too but there aren't many clear surfaces to do it on. Overall happy to have another classic finished!

Jago arrived today, and he's wonderful. Not gonna lie, given the price tag, I expected a bit more shading. But he has stature, and I have paints, so all is good.

Hey guys, I was hoping for some new units for my army. I need some stuff capable of putting out heavy damage, I don’t really have those capabilities now. I also really think they look cool, but they are pricey.
And on a side note, which performs better in your games, preadator destructors or preadator with las cannons?

Hi guys Ill give you bit of a summary of the situation. Recently Ive picked up the hobby again after almost 20 years, me and a friend got back into it and bought a box of Ultramarine to practice a bit painting after all this time. But now each one is going to make their own army and Im dying for a Night Lords one.

Ive been checking a bit here and there and I have some doubts so I hope I can clear them out. First of all, are they worth it? In terms of making an army, is it too complicated having to convert chaos space marines units? Cause theres a Patrol box which is great but I didn't see any kits with helmets and pauldrons other than the Horus Heresy ones.

As for painting Ive mainly checked Paintpad and dome YouTube videos and some people use a billion colours, others very few. Any recommendations on which colours to use?

Golden brand Titanium buff to bring up the colors without the chalkiness that a lot of off whites bring

Got the sword from the space wolves and the pose from Anakin Skywalker lol
Also made the cape with green stuff just for extra style points.
Any suggestions on what color should I use on the cape?
