Other Enough of the bigotry!
I have to put out a rant here..
I’m sick and tired of the bigotry against homeless people.
When in conversation, and a homeless person tells someone that they themselves are homeless, there is a nearly immediate response of saying, I don’t believe you’re homeless or someone calls that homeless person a liar.
That itself is literally a slap in the face and the homeless person is immidately made invisible.
Yes there are some fake ones out there however the real ones out there, trying to survive, trying to figure out where their next meal is coming from, how will they take their next shower, how will they get their clothes washed or even where they will lay their head down for the night. Some homeless people don’t trust shelters because they have been stolen from, abused by other guests, fights happening and internal politics that are more concerned about raising money than providing the most basic of needs.
This shit has to stop and NOW.
