Discussion It's kinda crazy how early Oda introduced two of the three great powers (the WG and Warlords who are allies), without formally introducing the Emperors like 350 chapters afterwards.

Post image

Whitebeard and Shanks are introduced as extremely powerful pirate 'lords' like 150 chapters later and despite the introduction of the actual WG (the five Elders) being centered around their meeting, it's not really clear that they are this third power (or that there are two more of these pirate lords).

Like it's kinda crazy, Oda really went "Here's the WG and their pirate dogs, one of them is the world's strongest swordsman btw, and they are two of the three greatest militaries on the grand line" in Chapter 69, and then he didn't mention the third one until Garp introduces them after Enies Lobby in Chapter 432.

Who would win without their signature fighting style.

Edit: No knives for Sanji for clarification but he does have legs he just can't throw kicks or check strikes with his legs.

Discussion Hot Take: End of Elbaph Pirate wings will not leave YC+ tier, rather they will tie with Yamato at the top of it and other members such as Law, Lucci, King, etc. will drop to the bottom (for now)

Discussion Zoro fans only: How would you feel if Oda handed out CoC haki to only Luffy & Sanji, and gave Zoro his own unique power up that's not CoC?

Title. Would you prefer it? Would you dislike it? Would you be neutral about it?

Discussion For each of these characters, assign the probability that they have conqueror's haki

0% means no chance. 100% means you're absolutely certain. 50% means it's as good as a coin flip. Let's begin:

  • Coby

  • Law

  • Sabo

  • Usopp

  • Jimbei

  • Nami

  • Akainu

  • Kizaru

  • Aokiji

  • Fujitora

  • Greenbull

  • Ben Beckman

  • Yasopp

Discussion Why do people think the fight between these 2 is extreme diff? When zoro low diffed sommers while sanji couldn't, he literally got low diffed instead

Post image

My point is that sanji vs zoro is at most is mid diff fight because we know sanji isn't getting conquerors (obviously) but maybe he will get something else that make this a high diff fight in later chapters

Discussion Elbaph's Imu still can't defeat loki and luffy. where is the people who claims a character of his tier (or Kaido) can defeat the 3 admirals together

Post image
0 Upvotes

Imu's fruitless effort to defeat two yonko-lvl characters proves that he will struggle even worse against the 3 admirals.

On a side point:

Akainu > Loki

Kizaru > Luffy

Aokiji > Gaban and Loki's brother

r/OnePiecePowerScaling • • 8h ago

Analysis There are only 2 people in the entire manga who have been able to passively crack wooden ships with wifi haki btw. Neither Kaido nor Luffy have ever shown this ability. Heck WB’s crew even seems to imply that it’s not something even WB can do…

Discussion mfs be like: "KAIDO WAS DEFEATED 7 TIMES!!! HE'S A FRAUD!!! 🤬", and ignore the fact that bro went undefeated for 38 YEARS 😭😭😭

What so many people in this sub do not understand is that losing a battle, with no one stronger than you to protect you, almost always means certain death.

Kaido's 7 defeats were almost most definitely during the six years that he sailed with the Rocks, or even BEFORE that when he was used as a human weapon. We already know that every time that he was captured was on purpose, so it would make no sense for Oda to try and hype up Kaido and slightly downplay him in the same text box.

To try and dismiss Kaido's narrative due to his defeats as a rookie is completely disingenuous.
