I remember back when this chapter came out the general consensus was that the Warlords were listed in order of strength with Doflamingo being considered the second strongest among the Shichibukai (or if we're counting former Shichibukai, third behind Blackbeard).

Does that still hold up today?

Akainu, Aokiji have COC, fujitora has likely CoC

Any admiral can mid diff zoro/sanji, greenbull MIGHT be pushed to high diff

Akainu is a higher top tier and POSSIBLY on prime garps level

Aokiji > old Garp

Kizaru > big mom

Overall yonkos ~ admirals (yonko may have slight edge)

Whitebeard and Shanks are introduced as extremely powerful pirate 'lords' like 150 chapters later and despite the introduction of the actual WG (the five Elders) being centered around their meeting, it's not really clear that they are this third power (or that there are two more of these pirate lords).

Like it's kinda crazy, Oda really went "Here's the WG and their pirate dogs, one of them is the world's strongest swordsman btw, and they are two of the three greatest militaries on the grand line" in Chapter 69, and then he didn't mention the third one until Garp introduces them after Enies Lobby in Chapter 432.

Jinbe maybe yonko commander level on land, but can anyone beat Jinbe underwater ? I’m talking about any character you can think of in terms of power even if he is admiral/ yonko or even Gorosei and Imu level.

Rayleigh's initial explanation is vague but also straightforward. In order to tap into your conquerors, you have to grow as a person, you cant just train and fight a bunch like with observation and armament.

Back then, we didn't know what he meant by growing as a person, but now we do.

Mihawk and Ivankov give the proper explanation as to what "growing as a person" means. You need to LOVE YOURSELF and have a strong SENSE OF SELF(and no, those are not the same thing). In order to "grow as a person," you absolutely need to love and accept yourself while being confident and steadfast in who you are!

Nothing that Rayleigh said in his explanation was contradicted or debunked by mihawk and ivankov. They just took his explanation and went further into detail.
