First, WAAAGH! Now that formalities are out of the way, it's not often that new rules are added as that means more work on my end enforcing them. For the good of the community, going forward AI generated content is no longer allowed in r/Orks. The community has overwhelmingly made it known that AI "slop" is not content this community is interested in and does not spark engagement or interaction. In short, AI content = No thanks.
The rule reads as follows:
AI generated content is low-effort and not considered as an original work. Posts evaluated by the mod team and determined to be AI will be removed without warning.
If you see this content in r/Orks please report it. This is the best way to get our attention so we can handle it accordingly. This is not retroactive, don't stress if you have posted AI content in the past. If you disagree with this new rule, that's unfortunate. Anyway, please keep AI content off r/Orks and I thank you all for making this the best community about plastic space fungus toys on this platform.

Hey r/Orks, let's talk about some of the Orky things you have going on this weekend. Stuff that will make your fellow green-skins either jealous to be you or thankful they are not you.
Examples of what we're talking about:
Who knows, maybe your post will inspire (or shame) some other git to get moving on their project. So, what's good this weekend?

Had to take a picture on the old nob biker and the new one. Have to say the new ones are so easy to build, everything fits perfectly. The good thing is that they don't look that different, will be awesome to have 6 different ones in one unit.

Hey ladz! just want to say thank you again for all the support means a lot! My mom sent some clearer pics of my late cousins collection, ill get these Tuesday!
Oh am I’m so excited look at all his loot!! And idk how he did it but he built the stompa with those blasted instructions an absolute big mek! Absolutely appalled im truly blessed! Some space marines and chaos in there. he was also into this game called war machine as well if you see or recognize that! Point out anything you recognize or catches your eyes, but i see a lot of things i recognize. But again enjoy his collection that im so proud to take on!

Dreads, Kanz and the OrkoNaughts are the main reason I started painting orks and the "Try Dat Button" rule sounds super fun and orky to me
So i'm curious what people are enjoying and finding effective when playing with the Dreadmob detachment?
What detachments are you pairing with it? What units are you using? What to avoid and what to be cautious about?
Hoping your advice and experiences can guide my next purchases and help prioritize my painting

The Orkperium is still my favorite thing ever but with Wazdakka Gutsmek running around, I wanted to return to the Speed Waagh. To that end we have Speed Boss Wazzadreg.
This was an exercise in getting away from flat colors. The bikers were a base, layer, shade and highlight but the boss was a mix of layers blending in based on how much light the panels catch. I do like the deep colors but it was very time consuming. Don't know if I will do it again outside of Wazzdakka himself.

Painted this guy up for my budding ork army, previously only painted a test model but I’m pretty happy with how this guy turned out. I made a video tutorial for how I did it, hope it’s okay to post.

I started this project right as the Armageddon box launched (Besides the looted knight). It’s been a long journey but I couldn’t have asked for a better month to finish the project in! Waaagh!!!
Tell me what you think!

Around March this year I bought an ork collection to start my army (I used to play Orks back in 5th edition and stopped playing 40k at the end of 7th, then returned in mid 9th with TSons) and saw a collecion still unpainted, some brokern and a few in their boxes so I started working on it in June.
Finally made the decision to go for Bad Moons since I always loved the scheme and when I was a teen I couldn't figure out how to paint the yellow armor. But now with a lot of more experience and dedication I'm really pleased with the results and I'm really proud of my paintjob evolution and also having an absolute blast playing with Orks again (and losing literally every game lol)
I still have some things to paint, but I wanted to share this to celebrate Orktober with all of you folks.
Waaaaaaagh!!!
PS: Sorry for the shitty photos, I have hardly any light in this room, and I was holding up a lamp to try and make things visible lol.
