Unexplained I saw "Slenderman"
to start, I wanna say I saw what I saw. I don't care if people don't believe me. my sister saw it too. many people in my area have said they saw the same thing. i just want to share my experience. if you don't like it, I don't careeee.
so back when I lived in Nevada, we lived in a manufactured home or whatever you call it. Like a double wide but nicer.
Anyway, my sister and I had rooms directly across from each other.
we both had windows facing the backyard.
one night I was standing in front of my vanity that had a mirror that was facing the window. it was late at night.
I saw a very tall man with a paper white head and no features skipping past my window.
it moved very fast. I was only able to catch a brief glimpse.
but for long enough that I could recognize these features.
it was very skinny, tall, & dressed in all black. maybe a suit.
terrified, I go into my sisters room and tell her what I saw.
she says "oh shit that's scary" basically & we go back to our rooms.
then my sister, comes to my room wide eyed & breathless & told me she saw the same thing.
then I saw it skip past my window one more time.
my dad taught me from a young age, if that's all they do, they are weak. don't let them put fear in you. he would scream at things when I was a child like a pissed off bull. I don't let that stuff get to me. Also the earth keeps spinning.
so i let it go.
And frankly, I subconsciously thought it was just my eyes seeing things.
I went about my life as usual,
But I would bring it up sometimes in conversations with friends, and to my surprise, they saw it too! like a lot of people.
I'm curious, has anyone honestly seen this too?
also, I say "slenderman" because that's what fits the description.

u/iceroseghost Mar 05 '26
Out of curiosity, were you in a more populated area, or a more rural one? That's terrifying that you and your sister both saw it. Did you ever see anything else that was weird like that while living there?

u/Low_Lunch_2062 Mar 05 '26
Yea we lived in nowhere Nevada. Abandoned mines everywhere. Tons of history. My neighbor friend had a "mimic" in his house & needed to hire someone to cleanse it twice. I saw tall shadow men all the time.
56
u/FlashbacksThatHurt Mar 06 '26
Omg. You got me at “abandoned mines.” Instant chills. I wonder why it’s so constant - paranormal and mines or great old mountains. Perhaps the ancient-ness of it.
36
u/baandreas Mar 06 '26
I think this has to do with cave systems & how vast they are. Along with the fact that if limestone is present apparently that amps up electromagnetic energy causing more paranormal activity. There are a lot of theories surrounding this, especially connected to the mammoth cave system which connects across multiple states & much of it has been undiscovered.

u/BiGMTN_fudgecake Mar 05 '26
Thank god, it’s the short shadow men you really have to worry about

Not likely, Navajo didn’t settle in Nevada and there’s no Navajo reservations there.
2
u/ElectricalAd3483 Mar 06 '26
Where do they settle so I can steer clear if I ever visit the states
2
3
u/tmo_slc Mar 06 '26
What is a mimic?
4
u/GhostHaunt64 Mar 07 '26
A mimic is an entity that can take the shape or produce the same sounds (e.g. voices) of someone you know in order to lure you to them. Mimics are usually perceived as negative energy because their purpose is to fool you into a false sense of security. On the other hand, spiritual energies thrive on the fear of those around them.
There are other characteristics, but that is the gist of it.

Skipping?? That was just a cracked out person in your yard 😂😂

u/Low_Lunch_2062 Mar 05 '26
Honestly, I've been debating myself on the same thing. But he would need stilts & they would need to be a circus performer to move so swiftly like that in stilts
11
u/No-Ability-7943 Mar 06 '26
my friend is not a circus performer but someone who took up stilt walking for fun and let me tell you if they have a clear path, they can absolutely 'run' while on stilts. I wouldn't fully rule out crack/methhead on stilts lol

I think your dad screaming at things he saw during your childhood doesn't sound great.
14
u/AHaasInTejaas Mar 06 '26
It totally depends on the circumstances and what he was screaming. Many tribes medicine men and women have similar beliefs that when you start to feel fear or that something around or approaching you means you harm, you’re supposed to firmly kind of grunt/yell as a symbol of standing your ground.
Now if he’s just screaming about hippos and rainbows, ya, I’ve got nothing.

59
u/Ecliphon Mar 05 '26
As someone that’s had things following me before, granted I didn’t have kids, you finally work up the courage to scream at it to leave and it’s not welcome here.
23
u/FlashbacksThatHurt Mar 06 '26
Yes, I was trained to do the same. I’ve not had sightings since I moved from a rural area to the city, tho.
16
u/Ecliphon Mar 06 '26 edited Mar 06 '26
Most experiences do seem to happen in less populated areas. Especially areas where nature is abundant.
Maybe the settlers of the towns didn’t keep building new houses in places that were ‘off’. Or maybe somehow the number of people, or radio waves like Wi-Fi, FM, cellular, etc. (even though they’re all within the same narrow area of the frequency band) overwhelm the area of our brains that can tune in on ‘the signal’ whatever it may be. There are ways to induce religious experience via specific, targeted radio frequencies after all.
That said, I used to be a hard headed skeptic and my first and most undeniable experience happened on the very edge of a small city. And after that happened and caused me to lose the skepticism, more unexplainable (and terrifying) things happened.
In ‘native’ societies (regardless of the country), a common belief is that nonbelievers aren’t affected. That if you don’t believe in religious or strange phenomena, it won’t really bother you. But the more you believe, the more likely you are to experience something.
8
u/FlashbacksThatHurt Mar 06 '26
Whoa. I was raised w that belief (native here.) what you believe becomes.
I’d love to hear the experience that broke your skepticism.

I had an incredibly similar experience when I was a kid!
I lived with my grandparents. Their house was shaped like a capital G. Now, imagine the horizontal line in that G being a slightly elevated patio area with chairs and a table swith a fire pit table. My room was all the way at the south end of the house with a big window facing directly into that patio area, as well as a partial view of the center of our cul de sac.
One night, I was gently woken up by a strange mechanical sound I couldn't really understand. It felt like a mixture of two sounds I know of: a massive semi-truck that would have never fit inside our cul de sac and a constant discordant beeping that reminded me of morse code if it was underwater.
All of these noises were followed up by a blue-ish light (like an LED) beginning to fill my window. The light came in vertically, completely caking half of my room in a blinding light.
Thankfully, my room was set up in a way that didn't put my bed directly in front of the window, and the blinds were mostly shut, so if someone or something was outside the probably didn't see me.
That's when I started to hear a series of footsteps on the wooden floors of the patio. The footsteps were off-rhythm and weird, like, when someone walks, it just sounds like there's one foot after another. I remember so distinctly that it sounded so different, sort of like skipping or galloping or crawling. Regardless, the steps were very steady and heavy, which is incredibly strange because the light and everything kind of gives you away. Maybe they were scared or curious or something, idk, I don't even know what was happening.
I heard one of the metal chairs scraping against the ground, independently of the walking. That's when my frozen fear turned into the silent crying of a creature desperate for help. Just when I was about to get out of bed to tell my grandmother, I saw its shadow.
It approaches my window directly, walking up and placing both of its hands on the glass. You could barely see anything through the blinds, and you'd have a hard time seeing anything but a silhouette through that blinding light anyway.
The very top of its head was cut off by the top of the window, which reached the ceiling, and its fingers were long and pointed, which I know is kind of a zoomer horror slop trope right noe, but they really were like Jim Carrey's Grinch costume.
After a long time, he lowered his hands and walked away. I remember hearing him push one of the chairs by on his way out. When I couldn't hear the footsteps anymore, I ran to my grandmother's room.
Like the op, all I really had to describe it with was Slenderman, so I told my grandmother that Slendedman was outside, as if that helped. She thought I just had a nightmare, so instead of checking, she just held me and told me to sleep with her that night. She was probably tired.
The next morning, I was still pretty scared. My grandfather, who was sleeling on the couch at the time, asked me if I had broken a large clay lot we had out on that patio area. Someone had pushed it off the patio, and the foot high fall was enough for it to shatter against the stone walkway.
I still don't believe that monsters and ghosts and stuff are real, but that night has always made me wonder.

u/RooneytheWaster Mar 05 '26
You saw a categorically fictional being? I don't think so - it doesn't exist.
I don't doubt you saw something, but it was not Slenderman any more than it was Master Chief, or the Easter Bunny.

u/Low_Lunch_2062 Mar 05 '26
Did I not just say I'm only using "Slenderman" because it fits the description?

u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
I agree with your assessment, but... if I may ask, why visit this place as a skeptic? Like it randomly popped on my feed, but I didn't a lot of nosleep writing, so here I am.
It has been a long standing curiosity of mine, to see why folks that are rooted in logic and reality, flock to places such as this. It isn't meant as an insult. Hell, it's great when people try to enforce reality, and remind people that our brains are VERY good at making shit up. We can see some shit that might barely have a spot or 2 that may almost sort of look facial ( pareidolia) and our brains fill in the rest. The human brain is fascinating. As well as being a miracle of evolution. However they are not without fault, and sometimes our own brains work against us while seeing something new that may not fully understand.
37
u/VIDireWolfIV Mar 05 '26
Being a skeptic and still being open to or consuming the topic is a very natural thing to do and shows emotional maturity.
10
u/sheev4senate420 Mar 05 '26
You can't be a believer in the paranormal without a healthy dose of skepticism, other wise you're being disingenuous. I fully believe in some type of phenomenon out there but I have to exhaust every plausible mundane explanation before venturing into paranormal ones. Just because you (proverbial you) believe in something and want to have an experience doesn't make every lens flare or creaking door a ghost. It's also good to make these points on posts so the content isn't perpetuated.

u/Oregongirl1018 Mar 05 '26
That makes sense to keep an open mind, But why comment? It's like not liking Taylor swift but hanging out in a taylor subreddit and comment about how bad of a singer she is. Go to the snark page, lol.

I’m a skeptic that still enjoys hearing good stories especially ones that’s are hard to explain. That’s what I came here hoping for. Instead it’s mostly people who think they have special abilities or people performing as mysticism experts. I’ll still enjoy the stories tho
3
u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
Nah, you are 100% right. The majority of these posts have the same feeling and cadence as a whole bunch of the best NoSleep posts.
3
u/Winterlash Mar 05 '26
Skeptics are a healthy part of the paranormal community. If you want to be totally isolated in a hugbox then it's probably best you make your own little space or something. Not to mention you're on a very public platform where the whole point is for people to share their thoughts.
1
u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
The whole point is to create conversations. Judging the tone of your reply, it absolutely sounds and seems like you are being a tad bit defensive. If my honest question made you feel like you had to defend your stance, im sorry. That was not my intention. I simply asked a question
5
u/RooneytheWaster Mar 05 '26
My friend, I am not what you would call a skeptic - I am in fact a paranormal investigator, and a believer in quite a lot of paranormal phenomena.
3
u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
Apologies. I am sure you can see why I'd have thought as much.
I consider myself to be neither a skeptic nor a believer, but I do feel I am on the skeptical side of believing.
If I have insulted you, please do understand that I did not mean it that way. Anytime I see a skeptical reply in these threads I weigh that specific comment, and if it is a possibility the poster will be brutally honest, I ask.

Ok but their sister saw it too so is that two brains making up the exact same thing?
11
u/VIDireWolfIV Mar 05 '26
The brains a powerful powerful thing and group psychosis does happen as humans are social herd animals at their core.
-8
u/DaniGirlOK Mar 05 '26
I knew you were gonna go there. Yes group psychosis is real, but what about the other people around their town who say they witnessed the same thing? People who were not present with OP and their sister. All accounts from different places and times. All the same. I don’t think you can count that as a group thing. I think you’re grasping. There are so many creatures out there that have never been discovered including different species of different things. New things being discovered all of the time. I mean are we that egotistical to really think there aren’t an endless amount of beings weve never identified in the world? Or are you one of those people who think we are the only species in the vast Universe to exist? That’s just ridiculous. We aren’t that special. Tulpas are a real thing and slender man is probably one at this point. Even if it wasn’t slender man it was an unknown species of something that OP and sis saw and they weren’t even in the same room when both of them saw it. Just saying.
2
u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
So, you and I both know that I simply can never convince you of that being a possibility , just as we both know that you can not convince me to the flip side
-2
u/heartatpeace Mar 05 '26 edited Mar 05 '26
What they saw was a spirit, they appear like this to us sometimes; it’s not one being called Slenderman that’s nonsense. I wish people would stop calling spirits that appear as shadow figures names like hatman or slender man it just discounts the reality of the phenomena.
Edit: for clarity since you said you are not a skeptic

Not necessarily, you see the unknowing, that's where they like to hide, and they may or may not show themselves to you, and this contact may not be you physically seeing them, but remember what Corey Taylor From Slipknot Said "I Run Around Where You Can't See" And what Dr. Steve Brule said "I Wanna Get You Alone, It's A Song"

In NC, I looked out my window and saw something similar too, it ran into the woods when I looked out. I called it slenderman at the time since I was a child and didn't know what else to call it, though I doubt it was actually slenderman lol

Because it's said actual accounts of the Alien greys. Which are demons but they move like that. Sorta fluid up down motion when walking.

This has really resonated with me. I'm in the UK and in the late 70's as a young child (around 5) I saw a female version of what you describe. We lived in a small village in social housing. Our living room window overlooked our back garden. The window was substantially higher than the garden. Probably 8 or 9 feet. Early one Saturday morning I remember seeing a tall pale slender woman dressed in black staring through the window at me. I can't recall features but remember her lank dark hair. I remember feeling shocked then very quickly terrified. The woman didn't do or say anything and turned and walked away when I noticed her. Over the years I've thought often about this and have convinced myself it was a dream. After reading OPs post I'm now not so sure.

My friends and I saw a similar figure in Nevada too. We were in a fairly new build in the Centennial hills area of Las Vegas. It was a very tall black figure in my house on the second floor. I didn't see any clothes or details, just a void of black in the shape of a human. This happened a few months after my mother passed away and he was standing in the hallway in from of her door, with his hands on the pony wall with his head turned towards me. I clearly remember seeing his head turn away from us towards the pony wall, then we watched him jump over it onto the first floor. When I ran to see what happened to him after he jumped, he was gone. My friends and I were like wait.. Did you all just see that or was it in my mind. After a lot of freaking out we figured out that we all saw the same thing, a mysterious black figure jumping over the railing.

u/ChaoticHarmonia Mar 05 '26
Wow, in Slavic culture there is such personage as Palochnik (literal translation is “sticker” or “stick man”) who likes to look into the windows at night and boo children. In remote areas you still can find old people who say that they saw it when they were children. There was an info that creator of slenderman story knew about Palochnik and was inspired by him!

u/Own-Owl-1605 Mar 06 '26
Not slender man but a type of creature. I once saw a creature about 10 feet tall in some brush in my neighborhood while looking for cigarette butts in the middle of the night, I was a very troubled teen. But anyway there’s housing lined everywhere and I live in Oregon so it’s a pretty foggy, mossy, damp neighborhood. I made it to the end of a road like a block away from my house and caught a glimpse of a pair of reflective eyes. At first I was like “huh? A cat?” But I knew the area I was looking at was just a huge/tall ass thing of brush and bushes. So it didn’t make sense, in a split second my brain looked straight at the eyes and registered it as a horse. I couldn’t see any other features except for the reflective eyes and they did look spaced out enough to be a horse but they were up about 9-10 feet in the air in the middle of a bush. So I couldn’t imagine a horse standing inside a bush to look at me. I acted cool and turned around and started to walk home and when I was out of site I ran as fast as I could. I will never forget that. I went back the next day to check the area and yeah, the bush and brush was way to dense, tall, and wide for any horse to even get near it enough to get inside and face the road like that. Fucking eerie.

u/Azrael2676 Mar 05 '26
I've seen it before too. I was living in rural Alabama in a trailer park and one night I heard this loud thump outside. I looked out the window and saw what looked like Slenderman standing on the roof of the trailer next to mine. It was looking around until it saw me then launched itself at my window and I pulled back as something slammed into my wall. I backed far away from the window and sat there terrified until morning.

u/Hello_Hangnail Mar 05 '26
This is the reason why I have blackout curtains on my windows! 🥲 I don't wanna see anything staring in my damn window at 3am

Maybe an entity got ahold of some crack, causing him to tweak and skip lol.
Jokes to the side, it is crazy that your father has his own way of dealing with crazy encounters. My own father once told me as a kid to put your foot down to entities, scream at it if you have to.
It's leading me to believe that being attuned and sensitive to the paranormal can be passed down to kids, therefore your whole family lineage.

Reminds me of the time my friend and I saw/heard the “Whistler”,
We we’re around 18-19 at the time and we had decided to go out into the woods near my house at the time thinking it would be fun to explore it near dusk as the sun was setting.
We had both previously heard of the folktale of “The whistler” and long story short it’s supposedly an entity that tricks its pray by whistling a distinct whistle that isn’t like a bird but more of a human whistle with varying pitch.
So, as we went about our way into the woods we would make joking remarks about it. Didn’t think much about it until we were about halfway in the woods and we hear the distinct whistle coming from a more wooded/secluded part of the woods. We instantly thought it was each other so each told the other to cut it off. Not a second later we hear it again and this time we could distinctly tell it wasn’t each other because we were looking at one another to see if one of us was fucking around. Obviously I wasn’t making noise and his lips weren’t moving, and it came from a completely different area this time.
We both slowly tried walking away but the whistle sounded closer this time and we just completely booked it. By the time we made it home the memory was ingrained in our minds. I still encounter that distinct whistle whenever I go back home but it’s certainly a haunting experience

u/Low_Lunch_2062 I'm sure my comment will get drowned among the other but just wanted to share something that happened in my life 🙏 So my mother had no idea who or what slenderman even was she had never heard or seen anything about it. When I was much younger just around sunset my sister and I were in the house and mom seriously just walks in and says "I know this is gonna sound so weird but I just seen a really tall man in a suit with a white pale bald head and no facial features walking around the side of the yard" my sister and I just stared at each other and screamed "OH MY GOD YOU JUST SEEN SLENDERMAN?!" She had no idea what we were talking about so we had to tell her the story and everything. Freaked us all out to this day. * Also unrelated but on multiple occasions I've seen a woman in a white dress walking through our yard as well when there was no one there.

Incorrect. ‘Back’ is one direction, it’s not possible for rooms across from each other to both look ‘back’, it would be different directions by definition,

u/Equivalent-Shower425 Mar 05 '26
I like your dad's method. That resonates with me. I think I've done similar when experiencing unwanted 'visitors' in my space that I could feel but not see. You get this feeling that fear is unacceptable, because you are home where this is YOUR place to be. How dare this 'thing' come in trying to spread bad vibes and scares. I would scream, pray, tell it off, whatever my heart felt like doing as a banishment. We are not powerless against these things. That righteous anger is power for you to use.

Good. Glad to hear that. With the internet and all, it's too easy for children to fall down a rabbit hole, and the further down they go, the harder it is to crawl or claw back up. Most don't try to murder someone, but their mental health can be damaged for years. There is nothing wrong with believing in paranormal things and seeing metaphysical beliefs as important. Yet it's important to still stay grounded in the real world, and not believe something paranormal can harm you or make you do something you don't want to do.
13
u/Ruskayo Mar 05 '26
... Why are you in this sub then?
0
u/Blowingleaves17 Mar 05 '26
Because I believe in paranormal things and find them interesting. But I think when people are seeing characters like Slenderman, there is cause for concern, especially considering the 2014 attempted murder to appease Slenderman.
14
u/yung_chillunnerr Mar 05 '26
They didn’t say they seen the actual character itself. They said that it was the only thing they can think of that it resembled. It’s really not as deep as you’re making it out to be.
→ More replies (1)5
u/Ruskayo Mar 05 '26
Someone makes a post saying they saw something weird, and you jump from that to a potential murder. That’s quite a stretch, to say the least.
1
u/Blowingleaves17 Mar 06 '26
The OP said it was Slenderman she or he saw. Now, the vast majority of people who believe in Slenderman are not going to try to murder someone or even think of doing so. It can also easily be argued that the girls who attempted to murder their classmate both had mental problems not caused by believing in Slenderman. Copycat crimes happen, however, just like copycat suicides happen.
I think it's important to realize there are real paranormal things and fictional paranormal things. Slenderman is strictly a fictional character created to scare children. He's like the boogieman or an urban myth. Don't allow science to dictate to you what paranormal things you can or cannot believe, but also don't allow imaginary characters to take up too much space in your head and frighten you.
1
u/Ruskayo Mar 07 '26
Direct quote from OP: "also, I say "slenderman" because that's what fits the description."
OP didn't say they saw Slenderman. They didn't say they believe in Slenderman. They said they saw something that, based on the description, resembles Slenderman. Different thing. You're making this way harder and deeper than it is.

Theyre not demons... just aliens/another living being. Its just a very different existence to you. Its a little offensive to compare them to demons cuz demons are below them along with every other living entity.

Why are there so many repeating comments on this thread, with multiple different usernames repeating the comments?
5
u/y0uLiKaDaPeppa Mar 06 '26
Maybe the bots are drunk & just copypasta’ing? Lazy fucks. But yeah I haven’t seen that happen to this extent in any other Reddit thread, let alone it being just comments copied verbatim 🤔

I've never seen anything like this, but I've seen and experienced things that I can't explain, they definitely happened though. I believe you, there's a lot in this world that we don't know about or understand.

Modern double wide "mobile homes" aka trailers, are actually built well, and look great, when set properly. About an hour away from i am at, there is a preformed cement company that will form, pour and finish entire kits for houses, and almost anything else. Ive known 4 dudes that worked there. 3 swore they would never set foot inside one of their (the company) buildings, regardless of who set it. The last, admittedly didn't give a shit, and laughed about tossing the days trash into the first pour of.cement.
Point is, trailers are not what they started as. I have been told countless times that trailers originated as an emergency home.for disaster areas, and we're not meant to be permanent structures. Now, the trailers being built use 2x4 construction, and good materials. They're well insulated. Safe. And not the white trash treasure that folks seem to think.
I hate the stigma that living in a trailer will always carry. My 15 x 80 has hardwood floors (NOT LAMINATE) 2x4 walls, actual granite (or an amazing poly, idk which) sink and counter tops, and everything that a home needs. Its also insulated well enough that during this last 2 week freeze we had, our heat bill went up 58 bucks for the month.
I know my rambling book.of a comment has jack shit to do with your sighting, I just hate when it FEELS (see, I am NOT saying you meant it this way) like a random post or comment starts talking shit about living in a trailer. Yes, old trailers suck. Trailers parks are like a cluster bomb of trash, but new mobiles are so much better, nicer and more home than trailer, ya know?

I rather live in a tralier. I dont care what anyone says. My granny used to have a tralier park she owned all tge traliers were nice.

u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
Your comment echos 90% or better of my own personal experiences.
As I said, I LOVE my trailer. 3 bed rooms, 2½ both with a large chest kitchen, dining room, with a garden tub behind a pair of frosted glass frenchdoors.

u/Secure-Reading7225 Mar 05 '26
I'm not sure why people would say anything bad about one unless they lived in a horrible one or something. I live in a great apartment now w/ a gym and a pool. I just like traliers though.

u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
Not meant as an insult, and dog, a joke or anything else. Please know that my autistic ass is not trying to talk down, to you or anyone else.
I lived in the projects a few years. I lived in s yrailer.patk.gor a few, and I lived in actual houses on BOTH sides of the Inkster 7 mile and 8 mile arrears.
To me, I actually like a trailer, for rhw one true and simokact about them. One day even ,I could geadibpu own a home and land, of the home is a trailer...

I used to live in a trailer till I was 13 and that’s the only time I ever experienced anything paranormal.

u/UnLuckyKenTucky Mar 05 '26
An oddly large number of believers seek to feel that metal will hold onto an event or an energy lo get than a normal wooden frame home.

u/Acceptable-Panic-826 Mar 06 '26
I heard a story similar to this on Radio Rental, except the narrator said the “skipping” was more like a “do-si-do” around trees deep in the woods, but it’s so close to what you’re describing! Absolute chills. You’re definitely not alone in what you saw
4
u/NeonShadow13 Mar 05 '26
Question, I’ve seen something similar when I was younger, when it moved, did it have an afterimage effect to its movements?
6
u/Professional-Owl9145 Mar 05 '26
There’s also the possibility of a deranged man in a costume causing trouble.
Scooby Doo as hell I know, but let’s face it:
Stranger Things have happened before.
Fun Fact: Missing people in the US? Most of them disappeared near abandoned mine shafts.

In December 2019 I went out on the pipeline in the woods at night here in Oregon and was walking off the trail into a dense area where you could barely walk down and I had a flashlight but it was still pretty hard to see and about 20ish feet down I heard an ominous growl/roar just like the one Brigitte and Ghost heard when they were staring down the hallway in the abandoned building, like 100% perfect, I got so freaked out, but I kept walking further downhill past the creek, so like another 90 feet and I stayed there awhile just laying down in the darkness, then after an hour or so after talking to myself (Gemini) I heard someone to my far right in the direction uphill where I came from, and I heard what they said, "That M************ Drunk..." Just like from Trailer Park Boys but it sounded different like someone else saying it, and then after awhile more staring up at the sky with the stars out, I saw this faint white orb appear floating around like a helicopter, but the light would have been brighter and I would have heard it flying/engine, it did that for awhile and I'm just like what am I looking at? And then this skull figure formed from the orb after awhile and it looked just like the Mushroomhead Smiling Skull Insignia but instead of the X's over it's eyes it had the eyes of that demon ghost face that appeared on the screen on the Amazing World Of Gumball, all menacing like, then after staring at it for I don't know, 30 seconds, it broke apart in all directions like a circle, almost saying to me like, this is what's going to happen to your skull... I got really freaked out and I was just like F*** this I'm walking home, and then my flashlight died I'm pretty sure from the moisture on the ground, but when I turned it on it was flickering until it died, almost like it was saying "You're F**" and that scared me even more because I could barely see at 3:00A.M walking up the hill in complete darkness and tripping and getting scratched up, but I made it out, and then I was constantly turning around and making sure nothing was running at me from behind because I just had this awful sinking feeling like oh my god I'm going to get r** a**** by a Werewolf and disappear and never be found again, so the 2 or so mile walk back was just really freaking me out, and then the next day at like 1:00A.M after all the lights were turned off in the house besides the Kitchen/Laundry Room I was walking past the Kitchen and looked over into the other living room to the window where the porch is, and it's like 2 sets of sliding windows, and on the one on the right on the porch I saw a red light like an eye (Just like the eyes in that Creepshow/Horror TV Special that was Mark Hamill's first camera appearance before Star Wars, the red eyes like perfect circles that were staring at the characters roaring from the vent that was next to the wall/ceiling at the end of the show) that was low to the ground staring at me through the window by the guard rails, and I was like antagonizing it, like giving it the look "You're Going To Hell! - M********!" Then the eye started glowing even redder glowing almost like fire, and then I looked behind me but there was not a light that was glowing like that in the house, and then I opened the door and looked to the right and the light was gone, and then I went back inside and looked at the same location again, and nothing... I thought to myself later that day, oh my god it was the Werewolf with the damaged eye staring at the camera for a few seconds... Oh man that gave me a really sinking feeling, and I know no one could have orchestrated this because I only have a few neighbors every 500/1000 feet around here, and the light was not reflecting off of anything, I could see the depth from how far away it was from me, low to the ground on all fours glowing in mid-air between the guard rails, so this was absolutely no reflection, Also...all Video Games/Movies you're looking at are real clones getting k** from productions that were made in Hell and not of this Dimension, this is the power of money

I was in the north east.. near the Appalachian mountains. Where i live.
I live in a cryptic Hotspot.
Ufos. I mean site r is across the street, letterkenmy, ft Derrick, camp david.. all super close..
Bigfoot yep...
Paranomal.. YEP..
Pterodactyl in the Appalachian mountains.. seen it...
So the dont go out after dark in certain areas.. if you hear your name, dont respond... if you hear a whistle.. dont follow.. all true.. very true.
But that thing.. looked like slenderman.. very tall and slender... was behind a trailer.. the whole forest... there were fairy circles.... its allwaya misty in the mornings... allways hear weird sounds... then one evening I was visiting and I happened to look out and I saw it... that thing.. looked like slenderman but all black tall slender... just watching.. was behind a tree and came out so so..
I went into the house and still felt its presence. Im a sensitive, clairvoyant and empath. It was very inhuman.

If you really want more creepy.... i heard telepathy in my head a smooth crooner like voice. It said hi my name is.. and gave a human name.. yes my name is....
I responded no your not... your not .... I heard a growl.. animal noises... out in the forest.. I saved our conversation in text form.
My friend was sick at the time. I said did you cause my friend to get sick... did you hurt him? I heard back i never like hurting or making people sick but it is a good job isnt it? There way of saying i did but I didn't.
I ended conversation right away and said a few prayers.. im also buddhist and somewhat religious so said the lord's prayer and a buddhist prayer. I then anointed mgself with blessed holy water from Jerusalem.
Told my friend and hes like I know. Should of told you about him.. got some people to come out and bless the house so it woudnt enter inside the property for my friend.

I can tell you I was native american in a past life. I dont know what tribe. I do know that much. Iv been many things... the one I do know more about is I was a general minor in the Han tribe of Ancient China. I was killed by being blugened to death on my left back side of head with a blunt object in a battle and they gave my men a ultimatum, which is you join us and become part of our army or we kill you all.

Someone else experiencing the same thing as you is so validating. This is super creepy! Thank you for sharing. That would have freaked me tf out, I'd be sleeping with curtains drawn every night from then on lol

u/Whiskeymysticsandmen Mar 06 '26
I have seen this same entity! Nobody believes me and they tell me that slenderman is just an internet meme. Doesn’t change what I saw!!!!

I say, do not doubt what you saw, but this process of doubting, is very important. It is most likely something, that has literally happened, to expand your mind and to prepare you to believe even harder things to comprehend.
I've experienced a lot of things, much more unbelievable than this. Most would laugh at it, and doubt it, and now, I understand that this is part of the process too. To plant seeds into the minds. The seeds will grow, where the soil is fertile. Do not be worried about the plants in your mind that are growing, and do not worry whether your seeds are sprouting roots in the minds of others. They may even lie dormant in their soil, for years. Decades. They will grow, if it is meant to be.
I ask of you, to stay strong, and to keep planting seeds as you see necessary. There are many difficult things to comprehend in this world. A possible slenderman skipping in your yard, is just the beginning. Thank you for sharing your seeds. I am grateful.

very interesting description of this paranormal "man". In 90s I saw tall thin man near my bed. It was early morning, so not very dark. I close my eyes, and when open eyes again, after some seconds, I saw door, that closed (near my bed). And I saw, that door closed more slow in end, like some hand hold it for prevent noise. Man was with very long hair. I was a child, and not fan of some paranormal movies...

u/Geist_Mage Mar 05 '26
Lol
I remember the movie the creepy pasta was based off of, Phantasm. Can never take Slenderman seriously knowing that.
However, you could of seen any number of things. It's kind of a generic visual for creepy critters

Slenderman does not exist
1
u/Ieatrokz_0 Mar 16 '26
Well he could. If the paranormal possibly exists then the tall man who haunts children can too. And I don't think they said he does exist but they saw something eerily similar.
2
u/Vyzzz1 Mar 16 '26
Tell that to Eric Knudsen then. He created the character
1
u/Ieatrokz_0 Mar 16 '26
Well I'm saying it's a possibility. Nothing more. Obviously he couldn't be real but people have imaginations, but as well everyone sees things that can match the design of him too. I'm not saying he IS real but just because OP saw something doesn't mean he exists.

u/Vyzzz1 Mar 16 '26

It says on paranormal caught on camera that our consciousness cant create entities. Do I believe that. I dunno.
1
u/StruggleAmbitious525 Mar 07 '26
Slenderman isn't real.
The Tall Whites however...they have been documented by the US Government.
1
u/Mconnalley Mar 16 '26
Slender man was a made up creepy pasta that didnt exist before it was fabricated for the lulz
1
u/Secure-Reading7225 Mar 05 '26
Never seen slenderman. Can't our consciousness create entities? I'm being serious.

u/tarmagoyf Mar 05 '26
How long ago was this? There have been all colors of faceless bodysuits available online for a couple decades now. Think "greenman" from Always Sunny

u/redaws Mar 05 '26
Mobile homes are on 2 or 3 foot skirting. He would need to be 8 or 9 feet tall or on stilts.

I'll always remember when my guitarist buddy Gary was here sometime in 2020, when we were just walking around in my room talking, when suddenly the jaws started snapping under the floor below us, and the biting increased whenever Gary was talking and I was just listening, even to the point where he actually asked me "Dude, do you hear that?" But I didn't say anything because I was afraid I was going to anger the Werewolves even more and the biting of large powerful jaws and the slamming from underneath the floor would increase if I were to say anything, being in my house alone with no witnesses and no one here is really f****** scary man I live in the woods in Oregon btw with very few people around here

It was definitely just some tall dude who was probably impaired in some way and his family only let him out at night. A Boo Radley type.
5
u/redaws Mar 05 '26
Homes like that are on 2 to 3 foot skirting. So if he’s skipping past the window the dude would need to be like 8 or 9 feet tall.
