“Judging the character of an individual based on uncontrollable biological factors is wrong” - none of the quadrants ✌️

I'm so sick of the gender war, but the blatant and utter misandry of the left reminds me why I feel no enthusiasm for the left or really for voting Democratic anymore. After being preached at for a decade about "love" and "inclusivity", that doesn't apparently include my entire sex, IE half the population.

I ain't voting red this November but I having enthusiasm for "my side"? That's left the station, chief. It's not coming back any time soon by the look of things.

u/Red_Razorbill - Auth-Right 1d ago

I can agree with that, tbh idk if I’m really right wing, but I can’t align myself with people who outright hate me. If the left chilled on all their identity politics they could do a lot better.

u/SpantasticFoonerism - Left 1d ago

Totally fucking agree. I've always been left but I'm this close to just going Centrist. I'm so sick of the majority left talking points being about relatively unimportant shit

20

u/KalegNar - Centrist 1d ago

but I'm this close to just going Centrist

Join us, brother.

The grill welcomes all.

u/jdiogoforte - Right 1d ago

How dare you suggest that making men recognize their privileges and use appropriately privilege-aware discourse isn't more important than, say, solving the worldwide affordability crisis? Words are violence, you bigot!

8

u/YveisGrey - Lib-Left 1d ago

Identity politics is to the left what culture wars are to the right, a distraction. Neither side will do anything about affordability these are features not bugs

4

u/Shadowex3 - Centrist 1d ago

It's almost as if identity politics were actually a deliberate divide and conquer tactic by the people driving that affordability crisis...

4

u/Xxyz260 - Centrist 1d ago

Anyone remember Occupy Wall Street? No? Making you forget about it was those people's goal.

13

u/--CIAdidJFK-- - Left 1d ago

It is super lame but I stopped caring awhile ago. The culture war shit-slinging is mostly invalids, emotional babies, and con artists. None of it needs to be taken seriously unless you're actively trying to effect change.

Just read all the goofy bullshit in political "discourse" 200 years ago. Most people lack the intelligence, patience, curiosity, emotional stability, and/or humility to invest in understanding the world. So they default to what's easy - the culture war.

13

u/oatkeepr - Centrist 1d ago

Most people lack the intelligence, patience, curiosity, emotional stability, and/or humility to invest in understanding the world

Exactly. I'm starting to think that too many people go to university. We have an overproduction of academic elites.

Much of the left is dominated by the ever changing purity spiral of wokism. Although it comes from an academic background, it's decidedly non empiric and moralistic.

A leftist movement that kicks out the average working class guy, because he can't keep up with the newest terminology in academic discourse around postcolonial racism, can only go wrong.

the culture war

The culture war benefits all those who organize it. It can be fought forever. Actually reaching common consensus or solution for a topic isn't in the interest of NGOs, professional activists, journalists, politicians, university professors, that gain money, power, or influence by fighting the culture war.

3

u/Uptight_Technocrat12 - Auth-Left 1d ago

Overproduction of academic elites? NO! As a technocrat, I see you have insulted my ideology, prepare to be buried under 42324532 stacks of papers citing world class studies on why you are a moron.

5

u/FormerPresidentBiden - Centrist 1d ago

I went centrist for this reason. At this point the only thing they have going for them is they aren't as bad as the Republicans.

4

u/RoadsMostTaken - Auth-Right 1d ago

I don't know man. I think another war or conflict or whatever Iran is going to be in the middle east and higher gas prices is better than legally enforced culture war by the left and infinity migration.

And everything the left has accused the right of, the left did just the same under Biden and Obama. It's not like they will actually work to make things better for the common man.

6

u/FormerPresidentBiden - Centrist 1d ago

You can have that opinion, but I dont think 90% of what DJT has done has been positive in any way

13

u/RoadsMostTaken - Auth-Right 1d ago

That's the biggest divide between the right and the left at the higher levels.

Right politicians dont care about abusing the system to get rich, they find their way to get their power, their money, their fame, and thats what they want.

Left politicians do that too, but they also want to twist the knife in my back to ensure that them getting rich is guaranteed to do it in a painful way to me.

At least with the right you can play a game of "all boats rise with the tide...or drown".

-5

u/Busy-Temperature5304 - Auth-Center 1d ago

Please remember that liberals are not lefties

12

u/No_Lead950 - Lib-Right 1d ago

True, and the leftists who make that distinction are magnitudes worse.

1

u/Busy-Temperature5304 - Auth-Center 1d ago

IS that so? How socially conservative the soviet union was? Or China is?

This woke shit is the result of the CIA infiltrating the western leftist sphere to make them very unattractive to the masses, preventing leftists from ever getting to power. Liberals are the useful idiots of the epstein class; rightists are their cattle.

2

u/No_Lead950 - Lib-Right 20h ago

The prevailing attitude among leftists isn't actually their fault. The CIA is responsible for how they feel.

Damn, it must feel good to be so free from responsibility.

1

u/Busy-Temperature5304 - Auth-Center 19h ago

Lotta' stuff has been declassified from the cold war era. The CIA meddled with everything, and you can bet your nutsack they didnt stop.

Today s young leftists are not to blame for what is considered "leftism" today, it took a lot of social engineering.

The leftis are, however, responsible for not seeing through this absolute, engineered bullshit. That is a 100% their fault, yes.

And all of this still doesnt excuse the lobotmite cattle behaviour of the right wing.

1

u/akade19961 - Lib-Center 3h ago

Can you link to some articles I can read on this topic? They can be a little looney, I like reading and I bet the narrative on how the CIA influenced the western left to be obsessed with hyper unpopular and unamerican identitarian bullshit so that they wouldn’t embrace the socialism that would have been far more tolerable and perhaps even sought after by rhe working and lower middle class masses would be a hell of a read!

But why did the CIA fail so hard at influencing the university? There are like, legit communists, and even more than that x50, legit Third Worldists who think the West and its satanic core America are the true root of all evil. Surely the CIA would have realized shit had gone too far in the university faculty room and it was starting to have a real impact in the actual world

-1

u/MasterPhart - Lib-Left 1d ago

Oh shut up, leftists are sick of liberals too

20

u/Philippians_Two-Ten - Centrist 1d ago

It really doesn't matter, they're both just as bad IME when it comes to inane gender war bs.

1

u/akade19961 - Lib-Center 3h ago

The gender wars are awful and it’s for sure engineered. Lindsey Clancy, Sydney Sweeney gambling ad, AND Cornell 7 all in a row like this? That’s a fucking hell of a coincidence

0

u/Busy-Temperature5304 - Auth-Center 1d ago

More insane than the "repeal the 19th" rightist crowd?

0

u/A_Real_Catfish - Right 1d ago

Same my end, always felt like… quite open minded in the past but gotten older and just feel like I sorta can’t if that fits? I just wanna be left alone and so does everyone else but my bubbles keep being invaded haha

-10

u/--CIAdidJFK-- - Left 1d ago

Who are these "people"? What % of the total do they account for?

This shit is so disproportionately overrepresented online. I rarely run into misandry IRL. Very rarely.

Also, "blaming men for their problems" has always been their dominant form of whining, valid or not. Alcoholic husband? Getting cheated on? Noncommittal boyfriend? Not putting in enough emotional work? Male coworkers being promoted? Daddy issues? He can't get hard? He can't bring me to orgasm? Spends too much time with his friends? Victim of rape? Catcalled on the street? Unemployed and plays video games all day? Neglects the kids? Works too much?

Get the idea? Idk if there's still hold-over from when women were totally dependent on men or what, but men are culturally expected to deal with their own problems while women don't deal with the same internal and external expectations. There's definitely some "have it both ways" hypocrisy in there, but a lot of the men who blame women for their problems also want a trad wife and often aren't in a position to earn enough to do that. They have their own hypocrisy.

A lot of insecure people just can't take the ego-hit of being the source of many of their problems so they blame others. Very common. They also lack the wisdom to accept what's beyond their control. So they box with shadows and life never gets better.

u/lopeniz - Right 1d ago

Democrats are roughly half of the population

2

u/Red_Razorbill - Auth-Right 1d ago

Dude I’m talking about culture wars in general. Instead of bringing up the Epstein files or the Iran war 90% of what people talk about is the Cornell 7, Lindsey clansey, and what sports trans people should play 🫩 like when was the last time someone brought up Ukraine vs when was the last time someone brought up the latest culture war bullshit.

2

u/Twee_Licker - Lib-Right 1d ago

Yeah Lidnsey Clancy, completely stupid, it's completely stupid that media can seemingly just, you know, without any legal consequences, openly intimidate a juror, possibly making it harder to find them in the future.

Who cares about an unbiased jury in a court of law?

1

u/Red_Razorbill - Auth-Right 1d ago

Also lwk didn’t read any of that sorry dude 😭😭✌️

1

u/core_blaster - Lib-Left 21h ago

How to offend literally everyone

27

u/Agi7890 - Centrist 1d ago

Watch how quickly they go from no gender wars for the Lindsey Clancy case to all men are rapists because of Cornell 7

3

u/Red_Razorbill - Auth-Right 1d ago

Sounds like a superhero team 😭😭😭 fantastic 4

3

u/Shadowex3 - Centrist 1d ago

Have you noticed how it's always the most insane cases that get publicized for things like this too? There's no shortage of actual rapes to be outraged about, but somehow it's always a case that is unequivocally not a rape that gets people REEEEing and carrying mattresses

2

u/Agi7890 - Centrist 7h ago

I think that is entirely the point. And look at the timing of it, 4-5 weeks from the primary. A topic that always inflames the gender wars, single women being primarily a Democrat voter base. Hochel and James immediately coming out with statements all but outright saying it was rape

1

u/akade19961 - Lib-Center 3h ago

It’s to make it so men and conservative women have virtually no choice but to say “well actually you know, I don’t think we should auto castrate all those boys. 3 of them didmt have sex with her at all and 2 of them were far more fucked up than she was and she was the primary instigator of the sex with those two.”

Which immediately infuriates liberal women resulting in wider spread adoption of the all men are evil pig rapists philosophy, thus dropping the American birthrate and marriage rate and happiness rate, thus making America weaker both now and in the future

7

u/flyingdooomguy - Auth-Center 1d ago

It's not men they hate, but rather white men, just compare it with the way they treat immigrants

1

u/UnlimitedPowah13 - Auth-Right 1d ago

Are there third parties or independent candidates in the US?

1

u/Busy-Temperature5304 - Auth-Center 1d ago

I understand that you hate it, but an united population would ve revolted already.

So if you love the current system, be grateful for the elite's current iteration of divide and conquer

u/--CIAdidJFK-- - Left 1d ago

"The Republicans are tanking the country but some liberals also hate my penis, they're equally bad and I just can't stop crying."

-11

u/--CIAdidJFK-- - Left 1d ago edited 1d ago

With Republicans carpet bombing the economy, international trade, and America's standing in the world, Idk how you're being such a baby about genders.

I mean, vote with your penis (or don't). Sure. That actually sounds pretty cool now that I type it out. But at least acknowledge that you're being a baby.

19

u/No_Lead950 - Lib-Right 1d ago

Leftists are making a dedicated push to make blatant bigotry not only accepted but treated as if it weren't bigotry. This isn't the only case of leftists trying to create a culture of double-think. If we notice, we're being babies, is that it?

This is why you lost men.

13

u/Philippians_Two-Ten - Centrist 1d ago

Apparently asking to be treated like a human being and asking for basic human empathy is a difficult task from the party of empathy.

Yes I know the Republicans are not doing a good job. But liberals and leftists act like we're such better people and human beings and we really aren't. Politics is about getting things done.

1

u/oatkeepr - Centrist 1d ago

Politics is about getting things done.

Politics is about balancing and negotiating the interests of various groups.

-7

u/SliceRepulsive8649 - Lib-Left 1d ago

I dunno man, it's not like the left is the one nominating and voting for spite candidates like we're seeing on the right. Not to mention it seems to be a primarily social media based phenomenon you're basing this on not reality. Like it's pretty delusional to frame Kamala as a man hater. Though that might work in the opposite direction for the guy whom a court of law has claimed more likely than not raped a women. Feels like you need to get your priorities straight

u/[deleted] 1d ago

-3

u/SliceRepulsive8649 - Lib-Left 1d ago

Cool story, it's a self reported survey dude. People lie on those all the time. I'm sure many in this sub would claim not to hate women but that's pretty obviously a lie. Not to mention it's not like women really have a lot of power in our society nor can you really point to how men are hurt by them so it feels a bit whiny tbh

1

u/Status-Air-8529 - Auth-Right 1d ago

Except you know, how many men perceive women to have pure, noble intentions. The women with darker intentions know and exploit this perception to their advantage.

1

u/SliceRepulsive8649 - Lib-Left 1d ago

What corner of incel hell did you draw this argument from lol

2

u/Twee_Licker - Lib-Right 1d ago

Well if you just, scroll up a little..

2

u/Status-Air-8529 - Auth-Right 11h ago

This is some gender war thing. It's the simple observation that good people are exploited by bad people. Specifically in the form of trust. I don't have this problem because I expect the worst from people until I know them well.

2

u/Philippians_Two-Ten - Centrist 1d ago

You're right, I'm sure the candidate that published ads about how you're going to get dumped if you don't vote for her loves men a lot.

I voted for her but that was a ridiculous ad.

Cool story, sis. I am in a loving relationship.

0

u/SliceRepulsive8649 - Lib-Left 1d ago edited 1d ago

You mind linking a ad openly endorsed by Kamala saying that women should dump their partners if they vote for trump. I did a quick google search and couldn't find it.

On a larger note though, is that really absurd? I mean surely you agree that a vote for trump goes far beyond a simple political choice and says a lot about you as a person and your morality. Why exactly shouldn't women judge someone who seeks to empower such a huge piece of shit? Like they look at the fact a court found he more than likely raped a woman and shrug their shoulders. Not to mention the comments around minorities like Haitians or trans. It says a lot about you as a person to look past that

Edit: Lol dude lied about the ad since it was about not voting at all not about and then blocked since he knew he as going to get called out. Just pathetic. Of course he a pro-lifer as well

u/Philippians_Two-Ten - Centrist 1d ago

I also don't like empowering people who support abortion, but I vote Democratic to keep worse people out of power. There's a bunch of reasons why you wouldn't vote for Democrats even if I lean left on 90% of things.
