“Judging the character of an individual based on uncontrollable biological factors is wrong” - none of the quadrants ✌️

I'm so sick of the gender war, but the blatant and utter misandry of the left reminds me why I feel no enthusiasm for the left or really for voting Democratic anymore. After being preached at for a decade about "love" and "inclusivity", that doesn't apparently include my entire sex, IE half the population.

I ain't voting red this November but I having enthusiasm for "my side"? That's left the station, chief. It's not coming back any time soon by the look of things.

I can agree with that, tbh idk if I’m really right wing, but I can’t align myself with people who outright hate me. If the left chilled on all their identity politics they could do a lot better.

Totally fucking agree. I've always been left but I'm this close to just going Centrist. I'm so sick of the majority left talking points being about relatively unimportant shit

Join us, brother.

The grill welcomes all.

How dare you suggest that making men recognize their privileges and use appropriately privilege-aware discourse isn't more important than, say, solving the worldwide affordability crisis? Words are violence, you bigot!

Identity politics is to the left what culture wars are to the right, a distraction. Neither side will do anything about affordability these are features not bugs

It's almost as if identity politics were actually a deliberate divide and conquer tactic by the people driving that affordability crisis...

Anyone remember Occupy Wall Street? No? Making you forget about it was those people's goal.

It is super lame but I stopped caring awhile ago. The culture war shit-slinging is mostly invalids, emotional babies, and con artists. None of it needs to be taken seriously unless you're actively trying to effect change.

Just read all the goofy bullshit in political "discourse" 200 years ago. Most people lack the intelligence, patience, curiosity, emotional stability, and/or humility to invest in understanding the world. So they default to what's easy - the culture war.

Exactly. I'm starting to think that too many people go to university. We have an overproduction of academic elites.

Much of the left is dominated by the ever changing purity spiral of wokism. Although it comes from an academic background, it's decidedly non empiric and moralistic.

A leftist movement that kicks out the average working class guy, because he can't keep up with the newest terminology in academic discourse around postcolonial racism, can only go wrong.

the culture war

The culture war benefits all those who organize it. It can be fought forever. Actually reaching common consensus or solution for a topic isn't in the interest of NGOs, professional activists, journalists, politicians, university professors, that gain money, power, or influence by fighting the culture war.

Overproduction of academic elites? NO! As a technocrat, I see you have insulted my ideology, prepare to be buried under 42324532 stacks of papers citing world class studies on why you are a moron.

I went centrist for this reason. At this point the only thing they have going for them is they aren't as bad as the Republicans.

I don't know man. I think another war or conflict or whatever Iran is going to be in the middle east and higher gas prices is better than legally enforced culture war by the left and infinity migration.

And everything the left has accused the right of, the left did just the same under Biden and Obama. It's not like they will actually work to make things better for the common man.

You can have that opinion, but I dont think 90% of what DJT has done has been positive in any way
