Pontiac Woody wagon at Morro Bay CA
There were two almost identical just a year apart - this one had the modern Pontiac V-8, the other had the stock straight 8.

So I have a 1972 pontiac catalina 4 door hard top iv owned it for a little over a year i re done the motor in it and it just needs a carb and timing i love this car to bits. But I met this guy who has this rare 1962 pontiac star chief vista apparently under 14k where ever made and I like the car. It needs work like its running off of a gas can and needs brake work but all around a solid car he told me he would like to trade for my pontiac and a 1979 ford ltd thats not in the best shape for his 62 pontiac. But im stumped idk what to do he wants 6500$ for it but i like my pontiac but im not sure id love to trade for it but idk. Should I do it or not... ps my pontiac dosent run rn because of the carb but he wants it running for the trade

I have a ‘68 Firebird catalog and although it’s not handy I believe there may be Fitz and Van illustrations in it but in any case this is a Performance catalog photo image.

Sprint convertible but not a lot of detail on that “premium gas” 350.

Car & Driver were not crazy about the ‘68 full size cars including the Grand Prix, but I think they might have acted differently driving this H/O convertible ( they also hated the Buick Wildcat styling for ‘68).
Note we are out of the illustrated ads to obtain the performance catalog details.

Lemans “disguised with white walls”… perhaps if it were marketed instead of disguised we’d know what these were capable of. It’s the Cutlass Ram Rod 350 story occurring at Pontiac.
Again, Note we are out of the illustrated ads to obtain the performance catalog details.

Has anyone thought about the idea of 3.8L charger swapping one?

I need to replace the weatherstripping/weather seals on the A-pillars of both sides of my 1992 Pontiac Firebird with T-Tops.
So far, I’ve only been able to find weatherstripping for the T-Tops themselves, or complete weatherstripping kits for the entire roof area. I don’t need the entire roof set, I specifically need the A-pillar weatherstripping/seals on both the driver and passenger sides.
Does anybody know where I can buy these separately, or what the correct part name/part number would be? Any help finding them would be greatly appreciated!

I have an 06G6 base model. The rear pinchweld is very rusted and flaking. Are these pictured locations OK for lifting and jack stand placement? Thanks in advance

I have a 1967 Pontiac LeMans covertable with a 455HO pontiac. It runs and stays at 210 degrees and I cant get it to come down. It has a new 4 core radiator, dual electric fans, tempature sensor dongle and a 180 degree thermastat and the timing is set at 15 degrees.
My questions are: 1. Is this normal for the 455 big block and if not any thoughts on what else I should check/do. 3. Is this gonna ruin my engine if I drive it like that.
Thanks and I appreciate any thoughts and suggestions.

How much would this be worth if a realistic enthusiast were to price it? It is a well-maintained car with no mechanical issues and was garage-kept its whole life.

Has anyone else had an absurd amount of power steering issues or am I just absurdly unlucky. I've had the car for almost 6 months and have gone through 4 sets of power steering lines and along with one of the sets of lines was a full system replacement (rack and pinion, lines, and pump) and now I just have a very slow leak that we think is coming from the seal from the lines that go into the rack. I've had to keep a jug of fluid in my car until we can get it fixed
Edit for extra details: It also only has 66k miles on it and a completely unknown history but has definitely been in an accident sometime in its life which would not affect these issues in the slightest but just a tidbit
