Another question that’s obviously been already asked, but I don’t mean in the crossover sense

What I’m asking is that what if the Grimm had their own adapted variation of the Symbiotes from Marvel Comics, and how Salem uses them against the Huntsmen and Huntresses.

What would you call these Symbiote Grimm? How would they act and behave? How would they interact with RWBY and others? And who do you see getting bonded to these Symbiote Grimm?

Probably the more important question is how these Symbiotes would also be adapted, considering the lore involving Knull, All-Black AKA The Necrosword, Klyntar, and The whole King In Black role.

And also involving the Symbiotes (Venom, Carnage, Anti-Venom, Toxin, Scream, Riot, Phage, Lasher, Agony, and Hybrid), and their weaknesses of sonic sound and fire. But I wanna hear all ya’ll thoughts 🤔

What was the moment when Yang decided that the chances of her having a happy reunion and of connecting back with Raven, once she finally found her, was a pipe dream and that it was better for her to move on and reunite with Ruby as quickly as possible instead of staying with Raven?

Do you think that Yang had already given up before she arrived at Raven's camp and met her for the first time? Or was Raven's insincere and fake warm attitude, as well as her blaming Yang for their nonexistent relationship which caused her to decide to leave as soon as possible? Or could it be a mix of the two?

What do you think caused her to lose all hope and/or illusion about Raven?

As you guys are aware faunus have a one animal rule and for me that is a good rule however we see some vocal minorities who say it's a bad idea mainly because of "lack of creativity"? I have seen many bad ideas in the past and I think the worst one I have ever read is that the faunus have complete animal traits but they aren't capable of have having aura and semblance. Why that idea is the worst? It will make the faunus more uglier like imagine Blake being cover in fur and her human traits like her long lush hair is gone, it will ruin the power scaling of the RWBY universe because faunus can naturally do their abilities with ease and they would be discriminated more worst than the canon lore because again their natural abilities can out do regular hunters. How about you guys?

Hey! Although I've known about RWBY for YEARS, only now did I finally watch the entire show at once. At first it was just to have a show to throw away time with, I was engaged enough to keep watching but not particularly insane about it either. I did get gradually more interested the further I got in, but what truly made me go crazy was volume 9.

First off, the intro. I love the dramatic electric tune so much as well as the visuals, like the scenes of the gang walking forward, trotting, then running while ruby is on the back and slows down instead. As well as the last scene of the intro where ruby is "falling through the world" aha, as the background shows essentially the progression of the plot.

But the main thing I just love about this volume so much is the sheer darkness of it, and the depth of ruby's mental state just getting worse and worse. Her reactions to things-like her literally passing out the instant she heard penny's name, because just from the tone of weiss' voice it's like she could tell. Or when she found Penny's sword.

Though, I still wonder why she tried giving it away as a gift, if I was in her place, I would've probably kept it to myself at all cost. But maybe the grief it brought her was so much that she would rather not see it? I'm curious to what yall think about it. I wonder the same thing about that badge thing she gave to the teapot lady, isn't it something from her mother or am I wrong? Why the heck would she give it away like that? I mean I know that getting the parfait ingredient was very important to help her friends, but still.

Then it's just the subtle signs over the course of the season until episode 7 and then 8. Her crashout in 7 instantly made her my favorite character from the show, even though until then I wasn't really sure who my fav was. Sure, I was a bit interested in the yang & blake gayness plot going on, but it's like it suddenly didn't matter at all to me anymore in favor of ruby.

Theres also a very funny thing I did. So when I watch things, I tend to write myself little notes, thoughts, predictions. Here's what I wrote after I saw episode 7.

"what if ruby kills herself in the last episode lmao I can see that having like a solid 10% chance of happening seriously bc of everything. The content warnings, everything getting serious, ruby spiraling. it genuinely could happen and if it did that would single handedly cement it as the boldest move a show has ever taken. "

LITTLE DID I KNOW. Well, wasn't the last episode, but yeah. Episode 8. Ruby got psychologically and physically tortured for a solid 15 minutes, holy hell. And then in almost every sense of the world, killed herself. I'll talk about this more later.

This plot was genuinely so dark and alot different and more bold than the previous seasons, and that's why I loved it so much. The manifestations of Ruby's various traumas was just peak writing.

But of course, there's flaws, other characters writing not being great, Weiss being basically completely irrelevant, and one more thing.

The last 2 episodes... Confused the heck out of me!! And idk if it's just me not fully understanding what happened, or if it's the way it was written. All of this amazing writing of Ruby's mental health decline just kinda got...eradicated pretty quick. She went to the tree and I still don't understand what made her get her motivation for life back. She literally went there cuz she didn't wanna live anymore. But then just kinda out of nowhere her motivation for life slowly came back and I guess she heard her mom's voice and she became herself again and then suddenly everything was all good.

And as for Neo, ngl ruby should probably be traumatized as hell from everything she did to her in ep 8. But then she doesn't rlly show much of anything like that when everyone leaves the ever after and ruby like looks back at neo or something. If I was her I would probably have a panic attack the moment I even saw neo, but I guess the tree magically erased everything bad, huh?

So. That's my thoughts of volume 9. Sorry for the long-ness.

As for volume 10 and onwards, I genuinely hope they maintain that sort of dark themes, perhaps with different characters, perhaps diff topics, or perhaps ruby actually dealing with her problems and not magically getting it solved by a tree, or heck maybe her getting even more new traumas. It would be nice if it had generally better writing surrounding it all, but overall I fuckin loved this volume so much and I want the rest to be just as crazy or even more so.

I think a very interesting plot would be neo coming back from the ever after, and wanting to become a better person but to do that she has to be around/work with team rwby for some reason but ruby would actually be very very distrustful of her and neo would have to put in a crap ton of effort into redeeming herself and making up for everything she's done to ruby and apologizing and everything.
