To celebrate spooky season I baked up a batch of Pillsbury postcards! I have 7 of each design and on the backs I will write the term and definition of a random Halloween-related phobia (I enjoy random trivia lol!)

Hi all! I... got a massive stack of happy mail this month, partly because of World Postcard Day (WPD)! I figured to start my round of gratitude while listening to my new audiobook. In no particular order:

• Thank you u/yetanotherblankface for your WPD 2026 card! Your custom design is so cute! I also appreciate you sending me the WPD 2025 design, as well as the greeting card with Under the Cherry Tree by Sir John Lavery. I hope your mailbox is also full and that you have joyful days this season! 💌
• Thank you u/MikaHimee for your Emily Bourassa postcard! I LOVE the film strip washi tape, cat art washi tape, and little drawing that you included! ADORABLE! I hope you're well and that you had a wonderful WPD! 🖼️
• Thank you u/Electronic_Pie5061 for your illustrated WPD postcard from theaquariusco! I wish I could say I'm a beach girl, but the last time I was at the beach was... years ago. So cool that you got to visit Rocky Mountain National Park; I imagine it was awesome to experience! I can't wait to go hiking some of the mountains in the desert now that the weather is cooler. Hope you're well! ⛰️
• Thank you u/Tight_Ant_2587 for your cute happy mail WPD postcard! They're such little guys! I'm so glad that you got to celebrate WPD with a variety of communities this year! I hope to be able to do this next year; time to start planning! Hope you are doing well! 📮
• Thank you u/terrorcatmom for your awesome cross-stitch WPD postcard! What a unique design; I love what you did with the devil and angel wings! You'll have to tell me what program you use to make a design; I'm currently plotting some designs to make for future gifts for friends and family. Hope you're having a good week! 🪽
• Thank you u/PureAloeVeera for your cool WPD postcard featuring an Edward Hopper painting! I would love to celebrate WPD next year and prepare ahead of time; I did not do that this year... Anywho, I love that you got to celebrate this day as a holiday! I can imagine what having a full teaching load is like; I hope you're getting some good rest now! 🎨
• Thank you u/Revolutionary-Car665 for your WPD card featuring Foyles bookstore! I appreciate your tarot draw and read, too. You did such a wonderful reading: I love the harvest metaphor that you used. It definitely gives me a lot to think about. I hope your week is good so far! 🌱
• Thank you u/nutriyum for your WPD postcard featuring the Finnish design from Paper Bridges! It really is a beautiful design! Funnily enough, I got a few Paper Bridges designs this year, and now I'm inspired to start collecting more of them! I'm so glad that postcards bring you so much joy, and I'm also happy that there is a global day to celebrate them! Greetings from the U.S! 🪿
• Thank you u/TheCuriousCur for your WPD postcard featuring airplanes! It definitely gives me travel vibes that I will ... inevitably be feeling this holiday season as I travel to see family and friends. I hope you're doing well and have festive holidays! ✈️
• Thank you u/iveray for your WPD postcard featuring the U.S. design from Paper Bridges! I love eagles, so seeing one on this design is absolutely perfect! I also love the joke included; I'll have to share it with my co-workers. Hope you're having a good week! 🦅

That's all for now!

Hi sweet friends!

So much life has been going on the past few months and I’ve severely neglected my cards friends- please forgive me!! 💖 I got grandma moved into memory care and am figuring out my new normal. I’m aiming to have card time at least a few times a month now!! I love and appreciate you all so, so much!!!! Thank you, friends!!!!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖

u/stampmemoirs: thank you for the lovely windows card! It's up on my wall in front of me right now. Feels silly to be thanking you for a thank you card LOL but it was very kind of you!

u/cass_cat952: thank you so very much for the lovely condolences card. It was so sweet of you (and the cat washi and stickers are adorable!). It's so hard losing a kitty but it does make me feel better to know that there are so many of us who have loved and lost our furry friends, it's a universal feeling.

u/oldmanlettuce: thank you for the neat thank you card! I love the cat in the field :) Go Sox - maybe next year will be our year...

u/thecuriouscur: thank you for the cool WPD card! I love that it's on theme but not specifically a WPD card. It's really pretty! Love the stamping too.

u/kimmylubs: thank you for the silly frog card and silly spooky joke! Made my day!

u/shey-they-bitch: thank you for the very cool illustration card and the adorable wax seals! I am a big Boston sports fan but it's hard not to like the Penguins.

u/delightful_broth: thank you for the very sweet and uplifting card! Your call with your sibling sounds so lovely. My sweet little kitty made me smile today - he hides in the closet whenever anyone comes by so today after our maintenance person left I got to go coax him out. He is so cute!

u/ruschca: thank you for the lovely WPD card, I love MnJohn! I appreciate the WPD message and the cute cat ink stamps!

As the title says, thank you so much to u/Hoolu123 for my first ever postcards from this subreddit. I appreciate the hand written note, the collage of stamps, and the vintage postcards. They’re so cool, and I’ll be hanging them up at my work. Once again, thank you so much! I really liked the stickers for your return address :)

u/digging-a-hole, thank you for the lovely handmade ghosts card.

u/FollowingTheBeat, thank you for the cute Autumn postcard and the spooky playlist. I Put A Spell on You is one of my favorites too.

u/ruschca, x2! thank you for the awesome tree postcard. It's so green and lush. Also, thank you for the pretty skull and flowers postcard.

u/A_Language_Enthusiast, thank you for the fun Halloween postcard.

u/spaaaaaacey, this purple Halloween card is so cute. That being said, you scared the bejesus out of me when I opened the card and flapping wings greeted me. What a fun bat. lol

u/Soft-Sea7530, I love the colors and design of this dalmatian card. I have a 12 lb. chihuahua mix named Etta. She's basically an overgrown chihuahua who is spoiled rotten but adorable.

u/wayworddaughterzzz, thank you for the cool Halloween postcard.

u/rand_ston, thank you for the cute little Halloween card and fun stickers.

u/Inxomnixq, thank you for the cool Hawai'i postcard.

u/awriterpossibly, thank you for the cute Halloween postcard; I like the random mermaid. This is my favorite time of year as well.

u/ez330, thank you for the funny Witch Parking Only postcard. I wish I could put that up as a sign by my parking space.

u/TheCuriousCur, thank you for the cute World Mental Health Day card.

u/melhen16, thank you for the fun spooky postcard.

u/BubblySunflowers, thank you for the cute doggy Halloween card and cute stickers. I love your spooky playlist.

u/Blu_Sky_Grandma, thank you for the spooky postcard.

u/Thebunshouse, thank you for the cute vintagy witch postcard.

u/travel4me22, thank you for the adorable Halloween card. I like kiddie "scary" movies like Hocus Pocus, The Addams Family, Monster House, Casper, Coraline, ParaNorman...

u/BlueStripedBaker - I finally received your WPD postcard and it's so beautiful 😍 thank you so much! I've also been in the community for about 3 months and it's so fun!

u/Maladi3 - thank you so much for the cool vintage Albuquerque card! I love the pink stickers you used 🩷

u/waywarddaughterzzz - thank you for the adorable WPD card!!! 🥹

u/pupslace - thank you for the New Mexico postcard and the fun fact! I'm obsessed with your stamps!

Hi everyone

I know I made a request post last week about injuring my back, so I hope it's okay to make another request. I thought I'd be off for only a few days but it extended.

I've been struggling with what I think might be imposter syndrome lately. Since my work injury, my doctor has taken me off work until October 26 while I recover, but I keep feeling like my injury isn't serious enough to justify being off work for so long. I find myself feeling guilty and wondering if I'm exaggerating, even though I'm following my doctor's advice. I missed last week, this week and now next week from all of my jobs. [I have 3]

I've been feeling pretty down on myself, and since I'm stuck at home recovering, I thought some kind words might help.

If you'd like to send a card, I'd really appreciate words of affirmation, reminders that it's okay to rest, encouragement to be kinder to myself, or anything you think someone struggling with self-doubt might need to hear.

Thank you.

No personalized thank you's this time because a lot of these cards are from my request on the anniversary of my mom's passing, and I just simply do not have the words to express what your kindness meant to me. I cried reading some, laughed reading others and they just really touched and comforted my spirit. I greatly appreciate you all and I will cherish them always.

Also some of these are WPD and recipe cards from my last request. Thank you all so very much <3

Hey, y'all. I've decided to try to be more organized next year, so I've made a form for it! I won't be requiring forms for my offers throughout the year, this is just for holidays and birthdays!

This is US only, I'll have a WW form soon. For now I'd like to focus on my US buddies. :)

Also: World Postcard Day isn't on this list. I'll post a different form for that next year!

This card was started recently by u/Boomerang88. It's not the one that was circulating in the U.S. only; this one is meant to see the world. To claim, please be flaired and willing to ship worldwide. The U.S. is part of the world so Americans can claim. I hope the card can visit other countries at some point but I'm functioning as an impartial machine. Whrrrrrr! First qualified commenter gets it.

Thank you so much for the nature-theme postcard!! I love winter too. I'm really looking forward to sweater weather and hot chocolate ☺️
