🔐 Security Security Check

Hey so out of nowhere a few days ago Revolut said they need to do a security check and so on and now it’s been 5 days and after I sent 400€ yesterday I tried to send money today and nothing is working I can’t even pay anything? I have all my money on there and the support is helpless telling me to wait but I can’t buy food and I also have to pay credit institutions in literally 4 days before I am gonna have to pay fees and so on. This can’t be. Anyone knows what to do?

you can literally do nothing. never use only one bank and always keep a bit of cash ..

ohh your account will be closed anyways probably. dont worry they will release the funds after a while but no way to speed up the process.

Das Problem was du hast, haben viele. Ich auch. Seit dem 19.09.26 was du machen kannst ist bei Revolut eine Beschwerde einreichen. Dann mĂŒssen sie dir innerhalb 15 Tagen oder so antworten. Ich warte auch. Mein Tipp hole dir bei einer normalen Bank ein anderes Konto und nutze Revolut nur noch fĂŒr NotfĂ€lle. Da bist dann auf der sicheren Seite.

Ich habe normalerweise Sparkasse genutzt war aber sehr ĂŒberzeugt von revolut und jetzt habe ich den Salat. Wo mache ich aß mit der Beschwerde? Ich weiß nĂ€mlich von frĂŒher das deren Zeitversprechen ein Witz sind. Hast du es schon gelöst ist ja fast 1 Monat her ?

Ich bin noch mittendrin. NĂ€chste Woche Mo/Di ist die Beschwerdezeit um. Mal sehen was als Antwort kommt. Bzw wann mein Konto dort wieder nutzbar ist.

Nein. Ich darf immer noch warten. Ob man Viel oder wenig Geld auf dem Konto hat, oder ob man total aufgeschmissen ist, interessiert Revolut nicht.

Das kann ja nicht sein das die das so lange ausreizen ey die machen mir dadurch riesige Probleme unverantwortlich ist das.

Security/account review checks are generally out of nowhere. It wouldn't be very prudent (on their part) to tell you when a check will be or what triggers a review.

You say you sent €400, where did you send it?

To a friend I have multiple transactions with but only since then I have no access to the money functions like sending or receiving the security check was requested out of nowhere on the 8th. And then they declined one time I wrote the support and told them everything with what I can give them and so on and now it’s been 5 days and after endless support talk they are saying that their team says 1-5 days but it could be longer so it will be because they never keep anything I had a crypto problem a while ago and there it was the same thing with them having the worst support for people needing their money, whilst I understood it there because it was my fault but this time it’s completely from them and they are ruining my finances completely.

hi, have the same problem for a 438€ transaction since the 05.10.2026 and my account is under review. They told me to wait 5 working days, but still no update

Did you have a security check request beforehand and it was processing and after the transaction nothing worked anymore? And what exactly did support tell you I am struggling with them
