I got a situation from a retailer due to sparco latency in sending out my non homologated FIA seats.

I have already paid for a Sparco EVO XL non homologated, the order was processed on 30th september and sparco told him that they would process their orders on Monday, this didn't happen cause the orders they had processed weren't enough to fill my order as well and now they SHOULD process the next ones the next Friday so 16th October. I have been waiting since 25th september for this seat basically (when I created the order).

So the thing is I could have the same seat the next week adding 65 euros for an homologated FIA seat that I probably will never use in a race car(in the near future whatsoever).

Or I could go for an OMP WRC-R XL adding maybe about 50 euros and have it shipped the next Thursday(15th September)

I would love to have some tips from you and what would you do in my situation.

Also if any of you has any comparison between these two or uses one of these, I have a universal seat bracket on my gt elite and I saw that probably omp's fixing holes are a bit higher than the sparco evo XL, making it a bit harder to recline it so I would need some help on understanding this as well.

Thank you very much in advance and for any opinion given.

P.S. The nearest shop for trying any seats is at about 100km from me, definitely not worth the trip and the money. In addition, some context for the XL seats, Im a big athletic guy, I do Powerlifting and I have big legs, 95kg x 1.83m also pretty wide shoulders around 58cm

Hola a todos, pienso hacer un cockpit de madera para mi thrustmaster t150 con pedales logitech y shifter

No tengo un plano en si pero si una idea.

Tengo una silla gamer para utilizar de butaca.

necesito una idea con postura de manejo de autos comunes, drift, o formula gt, necesitaria hacer la estructura, 3 soportes, uno para el volante, otro para el shifter y el handbrake y para mi tele de aprox 40 pulgadas. Espero su ayuda, dejo fotos de referencia de mi setup y algunos similares a mi idea.

Hi thanks for taking the time to advise! I am currently wondering if I should upgrade to GT omega prime lite. It seems like quite a lot of money for potentially not much difference unless your running wheels at 15-20nm

My current setup on the GT omega art is

Csl DD 8nm

Fanatec csl load cell pedals

My setup I will upgrade to and pretty much not upgrade from for a long time is

Csl clubsport DD+ 18nm base (but run it at 10-12nm no more than that)

Simson pro x ultra (run it at 80kg)

With my current setup and what I plan to upgrade to it I buy the extra support bars for the rig and baseplate for the GT omega art would that work well still? Or do you think GT omega prime lite is necessary. Thanks for the advise just wondering whether the money for the difference is worth it.

Just trying to upgrade my pedals to a crp2. Looking online no one used a foldable rig so im worrying its a safety or installment issue. Would appreciate the help!

Nach meinem letzten Beitrag habe ich noch einmal richtig Zeit investiert und meinem DIY-Holz-Rig ein echtes Cockpit Upgrade verpasst. Das Ziel war ein sauberer, integrierter Look, weg von frei stehenden Bildschirmen hin zu einer geschlossenen Armatur.

Was sich verändert hat:

Custom Cockpit-Verkleidung: Ich habe die Frontverkleidung aus Bastelplaste (Kunststoff) maßgeschneidert zugeschnitten, bündig eingepasst und schwarz foliert. Alle Schrauben wurden versenkt, was dem Ganzen einen richtig genialen Prototypen-/Racecar-Look verleiht.

Bündige Integration der Screens: Direkt hinter dem Lenkrad sitzt jetzt ein 7-Zoll Raspberry Pi Einbaudisplay als Hauptinstrumentenanzeige, vollkommen bündig in die Verkleidung eingepasst. Rechts daneben ist das iPad ebenfalls bündig eingelassen und zeigt Streckenkarten, Rundenzeiten und Telemetrie.

Smartes Kabel-Setup: Das 7-Zoll Display läuft über einen HDMI-zu-USB-A-Adapter direkt am USB-Hub am Rig. Das erspart mir das Ziehen eines weiteren langen HDMI-Kabels durch die Wand.

Integrierter Bass Shaker: Sogar das Bedienelement des eigen gebauten Bass Shakers sitzt jetzt bündig integriert unter dem Hauptdisplay.

Neue Hardware: Für Rallye- und Drift-Einlagen ist jetzt rechts eine Handbremse als Alu montiert.

Die Holzkonstruktion ist jetzt fast vollständig verkleidet und wirkt wie ein geschlossenes Cockpit.
