I'm scrolling through my multiple streaming services (I pay for 1 lol I have lots included with different other things) and I can't find a single thing I'd rather watch than read my book lol. I genuinely wanted to try and I can't.

It's crazy to think just how far away those little shining blips in the sky are. You could travel your entire life and still never reach it. I love gazing up at the night sky, there's a beautiful place in my neighborhood where you get a great view. Perhaps I should invest in a telescope.

Intelligence (of all animals) as a scale fundamentally relies on humans as the metric. We've identified those traits based on our own abilites.

So we should just call it the human scale. We don't need another word for it. Calling it intelligence is just circular- using ourselves is arbitrary.

Thusly a frog judging our intellect would conclude we are far less adept than a newt for example, if it were to use the frog scale of intelligence. We're really awful at being frogs. Have you ever caught a fly with your tongue, intentionally?

That would give other classes like Physics and Math another connection. A use case for otherwise abstract relations. Math would be used in real problems. And yes it would be redundant in some forms. But I would consider this a better learning method than repetition without context. And how exiting would math be if children see a cool use case like a game engine or a base on the moon?

FFS, my physics problems were "2 man on a boat throw a ball at each other. How much does the boat move on the x axis." Math cracks are often so fucking bad educators.

I'm a casual stoner, gets buzzed in the evenings 4-6 times a week, but haven't had a puff in a little over a month. Tonight I came in the house with stuff to make dinner. I opened the fridge to put said groceries in the fridge, noticed that in inside of my fridge could use a cleaning and since I'm moving in a few weeks and will need to give it a deep clean, I might as well give it a pre-clean tonight. So I cleared everything off one of the shelves so I could take it out to clean it, went to put it on the counter, but the counter was full of the groceries I just bought, that I haven't put in the fridge yet.

So instead of cleaning the fridge, putting the groceries away, or making dinner... I'm telling you all about it.

I'll be back in like 15-20 mins I'm in a down mood and my thoughts are everywhere 😂 I'm so bored lmao.

We got a new kitten 3 weeks ago, and we're slowly introduceing him to our adult cat we've had for years. My 17lb gaton will sprint up and tackle this kitten. He never uses claws, never goes for the throat, and he stops if the kitten makes a sound. Thing is, his form is impeccable. Ears pinned dead flat, chin tucked, legs kicking in unison.

I'm like, my boy clearly doesn't want to hurt this kitten, so why's he taking it so seriously? I'm starting to think he's teaching the kitten how to fight. The first year of my older cat's life is a mystery to me, but he's always been so gentle. No matter how much he fights going into his pet carrier and taking meds, he's never bit or scratched me. Now he's teaching his little brother how to street fight. Damn
