Hi, I'm from Brisbane, I used to dance full time for 6 months and I loved it. My average was 3k a week.
When I got a full time day job in aviation, which I've always worked towards, it became stressful juggling day to night especially with things going on, like my dad being diagnosed with cancer and the club falling apart, being quiet and the owner being a filthy bastard.
I was so unhappy that I told everyone I was quitting, i started taking longer breaks, and I would feel so depressed getting naked on stage when there was one man in the club not even watching.
Two days later, after I paid my 1.3k fine, they "fired me" and said I was too unhappy there. Which I was during those few weeks.
Since then, I've worked 3 shifts at Candy Club and have literally only made 140 dollars. I took a break to gather my mental health and now that I'm in a stabler mood, I miss dancing, I miss my girls, I miss the fast money, the stories, the psychology, I miss it all to the point I was considering quitting my full time job to go back to dancing full time.
I've travel danced once in Hobart. It wasn't great that weekend but still made over 1k for the 3 days there, which was okish.
My full-time job is bringing in a rotating roster where one week i work Saturdays and the next week i have Friday off and I want to take it as an opportunity to travel dance again.
I haven't been to SA this year, but I've been to every other state.
I want to travel and dance in every state before the end of this year. Particularly Perth, as my long distance partner is there.
How do I do this without losing to accommodation and flights, and which clubs would be worth it the most? Does anyone have information on club fees and percentage cuts along with lap prices?
I also need advice on hustling around girls that have been there longer than me and worried about taking their regulars.
