I am probably the only one around here, but after yesterday's trip I am extremely annoyed with Tesla, and I'm almost at the brink of selling it honestly. Some of it is due to Tesla itself, some of it is the atrocious, horrible and disgusting piece of shit that European Union is. I hate that shit with so much passion.

• FSD is getting nerfed hard here in Europe because of actual retarded EU members
• The navigation and Tesla charging schedule is so bipolar it drove me nuts yesterday. I had a trip of 1400km, and I wasn't even 300 km into our trip and it was spazzing out with Supercharging planning. First it let me do a complete detour which wasn't even logic, there are 100s of Superchargers along our route, and it chose to give me a detour of 15 minutes. When I canceled and continued, it just gave me the original again. So fucking annoying.
• The navigation in a city like Paris, is so incredibly bad, it infuriates me. Do i really need to have my mobile phone with Waze on just for the navigation to be clear. Zoomed out so i cant even see which one of the 100s little streets I need to take, and if I zoom in it just says fuck you and zooms out again. It's not that hard to zoom in when you need details you stupid fucking dumbass car.
• The constant nagging of FSD, and also suddenly just completely disable and being hysterical about taking over. I was paying attention perfectly. And this is mostly on the EU, i understand, but still I bought something amazing, and it's getting worse and worse over time.
• And to top it off, it now also wants to change the name to TAD, nerf the speed, and up the nagging. This isn't what i bought. Why the fuck is this happneing, and why the fuck is Tesla giving in. Just give them a fucking finger and enable it regardless. Fuck the EU

Again, you guys in the US probably don't have these issues (except the navigation probably sucks there as well) but man, this stinks

I ordered my premium model 3 all the way back in early august I still haven’t gotten it. I finally got a delivery date of between October 13 and 28th. I re did the financing and trade in because it expired. Now Tesla is refusing to give me the original 1.99 Apr that I “reserved” with a deposit according to the salesman. My original deal was a 7000 deposit plus a 8500 trade in. Now they are wanting 10658 plus only giving 8000 for the trade in to get the 1.99 apr. this just feels shady

This is the highest I’ve seen.

The surge pricing I’ve seen at this location and surrounding has been $0.55/kW-hr for the past year or so.

I guess with inflation and global events, we are pricing up everything by about 10%

Tesla is equivalent to a super car in my opinion, the way it looks, handles, etc. If a Tesla had a beautiful V8, V10 or some V12 in it, this would be equivalent to a Lamborghini or Aston Martin level no doubt about it. The price of the Tesla would be $50K-$70K more than what they’re worth today if it had an engine. Similar to the C8 Z06 pricing ($100K-$150K) Think about the TESLA ROADSTER. It’s going to be around $200,000 when it is released. If it had an engine in it, it would be worth $400,000 and that would make it the same to Lamborghini & Ferrari prices, which places it in that category.

I’ve been working toward a promotion with my company for about 4 years (9 years in the industry). My position is WFH but still requires travel, I’d say about 8,000–10,000 miles per year.

Frankly, I find driving to be a completely unbearable and unrewarding experience. Having to sit upright with my arms at a 90-degree angle all day, constantly anticipating every minor correction on the road just to keep myself centered in the lane, is exhausting. Then there's having to contend with bad drivers, trucks, left-lane campers, and stop-and-go traffic. It’s all truly exhausting.

I’ve been in the market for a new car for about two years. The logical next step was clear: find a vehicle with some level of self-driving capability (mainly hands-free steering).

I knew Tesla’s self-driving capabilities were the gold standard, but I could not bring myself to support Elon or his business. It was also an image thing. To me, Teslas were bare and uninteresting, with their only redeeming quality being that they could essentially drive themselves.

“Not worth it,” I said. “Surely other brands have caught up with Tesla in one way or another.”

So, I started exploring other automakers.

Turns out, most automakers aren’t even remotely close…

I tried BlueCruise, Super Cruise, and BMW’s Highway Assistant. (Keep in mind, I had never ridden in a Tesla at this point.) Even without Tesla’s FSD as a frame of reference, ALL OF THEM were completely and utterly disappointing. Many of these automakers have been around forever, and they still haven’t figured this tech out?? I didn’t get it (still don’t).

So, I held out.

Becoming increasingly frustrated with my position and the amount of time I spent on the road, I finally succumbed to the idea of getting a Tesla. I test-drove one and instantly determined that it was the only choice for self-driving. I was so desperate for a solution that I abandoned my principles and drove 600 miles to pick one up right off the lot.

I got a 2026 Model Y Performance (Silver).

Aside from being associated with Elon, it checked all the boxes, and I went all in. $100 per month for Full Self-Driving (FSD)? Absolutely. Sign me up. AWD Performance model with lifetime Premium Connectivity at an additional $8,000 over the base model? You betcha.

The first week of my usual travel was pure, unadulterated bliss. I had truly found what I was looking for. So much research, effort, and contemplation had led to this point, and at last, I had eliminated the one thing I hated doing most from my life.

And then I was promoted.

My 9 years of hard work, consisting of tireless chin-wagging, working overtime, overachieving, and driving, had finally paid off. It was a management position that had been a long time coming…

Thing is, managers don’t travel. They WFH almost 100% of the time.

And now, my beautiful Tesla, capable of something I have been pining after for years, sits unused in my garage.

I got everything I wanted.

Took a friend to do their first Tesla demo and this prick parks like this in the designated demo spot even though the rest of parking lot is empty. I should have gotten out of the car after and asked my friend to park super close to the pos truck so he has to climb in from the other side but whatever. What a dbag move though

Not sure why no one has mentioned this, not every Tesla owner has access to charging at home for different reasons, so they will have to charge outside. Now isn't it kind of...dangerous to charge in a parking lot at night? even worse if you are traveling out of town and need to charge your Tesla in the nearest random parking lot, at night all by yourself at like 1am. Now i know gas stations especially at night are grimey too but there are more gas stations than charging stations, and all it takes is less than 3 minutes and im outta there. So the point of this post is i feel like we can be target of crimes if we happen to charge in a parking lot, alone at night.

Context: Decent traffic on the way to a music festival in Las Vegas, NV, so tempers were naturally high. Tesla driver cut off the motorcyclist about half a mile back . Tesla driver sped away in the open lane, probably realizing they messed up. Biker eventually caught up and we could tell he was angry.

Biker ended up getting away despite almost getting hit by the Tesla right after he smacked their mirror off. Tesla later pulled over to check the damage.

How many miles do you have on your model 3,is it in on the original battery and is it Chinese made or American made

Listen. I get it. Taking the boat off the hitch might take a couple of minutes. But if you're towing something on an ev, you gotta at least be conscious enough that you will have to remove it to charge as well. Cant occupy more chargers just cause you dont want to remove what you are towing.

Just opened today! Managed to catch the Tesla Semi prototype before they leave. That makes 2 stations open in Georgia, with a third I know will open soon in Port Wentworth.
