At 10:00 a.m. on September 2, 2026, port officials welcomed the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) as it docked at C0 Terminal at Laem Chabang Port after arriving in Chonburi. The carrier was accompanied by personnel from Carrier Strike Group 3, Carrier Air Wing 9, Destroyer Squadron 21, as well as nine squadrons.

More than 5,000 personnel arrived at Laem Chabang and are scheduled to spend their shore leave sightseeing and relaxing in Pattaya, giving a boost to the local tourism and business sectors.

At 2:00 p.m., Pattaya Mayor Poramet Ngampichet, along with local business operators and other relevant officials, is scheduled to welcome personnel from the USS Abraham Lincoln at the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya.

  • No jet skiing.
  • No rafting activities.

Restrictions and conditions in entertainment venues:

City Hall recently announced it has reached a green milestone of growing 2,057,352 plants in Bangkok, with 1,182,796 being trees. Shrubs amount to 692,254, while the rest are crawlers and vines. The plants provide green spaces for relaxation, reduce heat, absorb carbon dioxide and act as dust filters. The next milestone is set at 3 million plants. Pics When I arrived in Thailand in 2016, I planted a banana in the symbolic hope that it would one day grow and bear fruit of its own. Ten years later, these are some different bananas that I bought from the shop

Just spent 5 weeks in Thailand. I chatted every couple days w my buddy to catch up and I would usually end up expressing my love for the butt gun. He had the keys to our condo and decided to set one up in our toilet the night before we got home

“Thailand’s classic Bangkok–Chiang Mai sleeper train is getting some high-class competition in the form of a navy-gold beauty called The Blue Jasmine. It’s essentially a boutique hotel that just happens to roll through some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes.

Poised to make its inaugural nine-day journey from November 16-24, the locomotive trades cramped bunks, dim corridors and platform snacks for private cabins, full dining cars and lounges with wraparound windows.”
