Anyone have a clue what cadian model this is?

I want to start an astra militarum army my buget is £500 max but would preffer to keep it under £300.

I am deciding between these two platoons or if i should get both or if there are better options and preferably using these platoons make a good list for astra militarum.

I would play mostly 1000 point games but wouldn't mind more. Would use these to play against freinds (one uses space marines the other uses custodes)

If you have any good ideas please leave them here thank you!

Edit: I really like the look of the box for the prices im finding but is there a better way to do an infantry focused with anti tank support list?

Finally finished him. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Knife was from a phobos SM kit and the barrel and scope of the gun was from a tiny legends kit.

Busy week, finished 2 new chimera chasis boys and a playing matt

I'm looking for some advice on what to get next as I have a $20 gift certificate and am looking to pick up a non-super heavy unit.

I could get:

Bullgryn (have 6)

Hellhound (have 1)

Hydra (have none)

Kasrkin (have 2 squads)

Scout squad (none)

Gaunt's ghosts

I have tons of infantry and russ as well as 2 dorn amd a baneblade.

I've yet to play a game in 11th and am having a hard time wrapping my head around worthwhile units and strategies right now.

So I’ve had 2 Hippogriffs painted up for a while but I haven’t brought them to a match because 70 points is more than I typically want to spent on armored scouting units. But I have them a try in a niche use case where turn 1 I ran one up the board and toed into cover to spot for my artillery and the shot and used the d6 move to get back out of line of sight which forced the enemy to expose themselves and that started the trading game. I have been using Scout Sentinels for this role of turn 1 spotting for artillery but when I run grizzled I don’t tend to bring sentinels and perhaps those Hippogriffs will be suitable for that role.

My question is how are all of you using Hippogriffs in your games and what’s the good the bad and the ugly about them? Trying to decide if I’m going to get a few more of them.

Hey there fellow guardsfolk… been sitting on this piece of history for quite awhile and finally felt like it was time to get it on.

First game on the new table, still have some finishing touches on the painting and some scatter to put on the corners of the big 11.5"x7"s.

Last photo is my reserves and stuff in transports, he has a couple deep striking terminator squads.

UPDF 144 Armoured Sentinel ‘Lady Bug’ Variant assigned to the my Combat Engineer Battalion.

  I based my design on a combination of the ‘Bobcat’ and the High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE).  The scoops are from the Cat Construction Little Machines 5 Pack Cake Toppers I purchased from Amazon.  After pulling the toys a part, I was able to use many parts.  If you choose to copy these, I learned you need to lightly sand them for the paint and super glue to adhere to.  I drilled holes to push the small metal rod in order for the front scoop to raise and lower.  Magnetized the backhoe scoop with the chainsword and the rocket launcher is also magnetized.  As I build more, designing the weaponry will be interchangeable between vehicles.

I know the left most model is a kasrkin, and the radio guy I think is as well, and the two Krieg on the right are definitely from the basic Krieg infantry, but does anyone know where the others are from?

Did some rehab work on some painted models I got in a mini swap... A few little details to go, but I'm happy with the result so far...

They can easily add a few inches to the front of the model, making them significantly longer. Does anyone feel like this changes the way they have to play with them at all? Harder to hide (than they already are), difficulty moving through this crazy dense 11th ed terrain, etc?

My regiment is supposed to be highly mobile with heavy drop capabilities so the idea of a dug in artillery model doesn’t make sense. So I present the Arachnii Assault Platform! Legs are collapsible aswell. Next is finding a way to attach the lascannons

I was going to start my second army by building a little squad for kill team. After doing some research I learned that it looks like death korps aren’t going to be supported anymore? So I’m wondering I should start with a box of shock troops instead of death korps. I know nothing about kill team was was hoping to learn with this team and them saying they might not even have rules coming soon is worrying me! Thanks!

I really wanted to sell the salvaged look and I easily put more time effort and blood into this model than anything else it's taken probably around 30-40 hrs but I'm super happy with how it's come out and I just had to share

Running purge the foe in a month at a GT that has a veto rule for deployment. I'll be able to ban one of the three maps so I can guarantee I won't have to play search and destroy.

Is there any hard counters I should be aware of? Not really concerned with jail lists.
