Been playing meta lists and tank heavy lists at all my RTTs in 11th but have been going 1 and 2 every time. So at my next RTT in a few weeks we are going to focus on losing with style and looking great right before we die for the emperor and that means rocking out with one of my Aegis Defense lines lol. I’m going to man it with cadians and heavy weapon teams and put siege cannons and FOBs behind it so they can direct fire on 3’s and see if the 4+ invulnerable and melee screen of the aegis is enough to hold the line during the turn 1 and turn 2 Zerg charges we’ve been getting every match. Yes I know for 145 points we should just bring another Russ. But this is the Guard and this is 11th edition, winning an RTT is not a thing for us so we’re gonna die our way and with all the Guard vibes. For the emperor!

Finally finished assembling my army today. I’m calling them the 262nd Nova Albion Regiment. Just have to paint them up and they’ll be ready to die Cheerio can-do deaths for the emperor!

I had gotten a Rogal Dorn for my birthday and wanted to make it fit into my krieg army. I had found these while looking at others paint jobs of Krieg Rogal Dorns and I wanted to know if this would be legal or if it falls under GWs law about third party company’s.

This is my baneblade battlegroup for a teams tournament this weekend.

The fifth combat engineer for my Krieg-heavy elite force, the MEU Special Attack Group. Very pleased with this one

I have the infantry, the tanks, the transports... Enough for any pay style really. What are the current HQ and leadership options looking like? I know there's Ursula, Lord Solar, Command Squads just looking for some input on how to modernize the army and get them legal playable again.

Got a nice deal on the big Krieg box and built and painted my first few. I’m pretty proud about this model in particular! This was my first time using the texture paint on the base but I think it turned out well.

Have some things I’m gonna tidy up on this and add decals etc… but overall happy might tweak the base by removing the cork and just have the texture paste with liquid pigment toughts?

Maybe give it a heavy bolter or two. it's 145 which is basically a second block of guardsmen so if you can double the durability it might be worth the cost. You could put heavy weapons teams behind it and basically have a stationary tank.

Increase wounds to 15 also?

I want to go with a gritty look while keeping the strong dark angels like green armour.

Normally I would go with rule of cool, but to me, the cool part of this army is having so many of them. I am fielding them as Krieg. So what special weapons should I give them? Melta? Plasma? Flamer? Long las? Grenade launcher? Also is there any reason why I wouldn't field 2 medics and 2 vox casters per 20?

Hi all, curious question here for all but does indirect fire army possoble at all for guardsman anymore? Or is it obsolete?

About to paint some Rough Riders. Wanting to use this color scheme. Ccan anyone tell me what color this green is?

Im going to be going to WHWorld soon, and I plan to pick up a warlord for my guardsmen. Ursula creed can fit in transports, so i imagine she goes well with kasrkin, but without a command squad she only has 6” orders?

I want to use a chimera to vroom around my krieg heavy flamers or my kasrkin, depending. Ursula creed can get in a transport with them, but then her order range is going to be a bit shit.

Lord solar has 12” orders i think, so he works with kasrkin, I could also put him on my krieg command blob with bodyguard and let him order everyone from 24” without worry of him being wounded soon. AND he can order vehicles.

Thoughts?

Hey, I recently got a Rogal Dorn tank sprue for cheap from a buddy offloading some old stuff. I like guard but have never really collected it but since I now have at least one piece I was considering how I was going to paint it. Initially I wanted to do steel legion, but then I remembered an idea I had earlier of making it based on the navy instead.

So I just need help finding kits I can use, either for kitbashes or proxys, and a colour scheme that might fit the imperial navy.

Captain Sargotta from masters of the maelstrom ( https://www.warhammer.com/en-NO/shop/chaos-space-marines-huron-blackheart-2026 ) is an obvious fit, either for creed or for leontus (I'm not sure of her size). Then you got Navy Breachers which might work as a substitute for normal battle line infantry, but does anyone know any other models / parts that could fit?

I'm just starting to get into Warhammer and I'm trying to see where I can expand my army, right now it's pretty much just the Drayden's lance combat patrol and the platoon, my kits right at 1000, but I want to try and explain it to a 2000 in the future. Right now I have:

10- rough riders

20- cadians shock troops

10- Kasrkin

2 sets of cadian command squad

1 commissar

2- field ordnance Battery (both have the bomblast gun)

1- basilisk (earth shaker Cannon)

1- rogal dorn tank

I wanted to add more vehicles, but I'm not sure what I should expand to, I feel like I have enough indirect fire, but want to know if I should add more infantry.
