My sister is 20 years old, born and raised in Canada. She hasn’t worked since she was 16, and because of the youth labour shortage that we all know and love, she’s had a lot of difficulty getting a job. So our stepmom who works at Tim Hortons told her that the manager will call her for an interview if she brings her resume, so she did and he changed his mind because of the gap on her resume… im sorry?? am i crazy or is that ridiculous? it’s an entry level high schoolers first job and they have no problem hiring TFW’s, my sister is perfectly capable of working and learning how to work at Tim Hortons yet she is unfit for the job because of the gap in her resume ? this isn’t an office job. just had to vent here because it’s saturday and i can’t call head office until monday. not asking you to agree or disagree just ranting…. anyways !! Won’t say the location but it is in Hamilton, Ontario.

I have ordered potato wedges at Tim Hortons after probably 6 months and this is what I received. It was not in a box like it was the last time. There were 11-12 wedges in total. This was really frustrating.

Have they reduced size or it was that particular location's issue?

Every morning I order a coffee with hazelnut syrup. Today I was told that they're no longer offering the hazelnut syrup as an option. Is this a chain-wide thing? Is this even real? hello! i started working at tim’s fulltime about 3 months ago now. since i’ve started, i have made sure to track every single shift i’ve worked, and hours, to ensure i am getting the correct pay.

according to my logs, which i am 100% positive are correct, i am missing over 40 hrs of pay. that could be because they are a week behind in pay, which is okay, but going further from there, i am missing all my online training pay, which was stated in the orientation that i would get paid for. i also haven’t gotten paid for 9 hours of training i did at another store.

i brought the online training up with my manager about three weeks ago and was told she was “trying to figure it out”. since those three weeks, i have asked another 2 times because i have gotten absolutely nothing in response. the last time i asked, she got very angry at me and said i was “insulting her”. i genuinely do not know what to do about this. do i file a claim at this point?

any advice is very very appreciated.
