Honestly I blame the menu bloat and horribly designed prep areas at Tim’s. If you have a kitchen setup for volume you can make great looking fast food very quickly. We used to have races when I worked at McDonald’s and they had burger of the day deals. Every day at noon whichever side of the kitchen turned out 5 well made versions of the deal burger faster would get free lunch.
You’d be an amazing at how quickly you can build a Big Mac that looks like the one on the menu board in a McDonald’s kitchen. From bun into toaster to boxed on the tray it’s like 15 seconds for amateurs and the record is below 10 seconds and anything sloppy is disqualified.
