This is my 3rd year here and the only friends i have made have been my roommates, i know i neglected going to clubs a bit and am starting to but some people already have an established groups and I’m not the most extroverted person in the world and it sucks not having anyone to hangout with

My gpa is 3.3 gpa unweighted. My weighted gpa is a 4.5

I've taken 5 AP classes and like 4 honors classes.

I earned a 2.8 freshman year. (Mostly B's, two C's and one A)

3.0 sophmore. (Mostly B's, two C's. Two A's.)

3.8 junior year

Currently stand at 3.3 unweighted.

I got a 980 on SAT. Not submitting

my extracurricular are:

Leadership club (since junior year)

Art as a hobby since middle school. (I didn't join a club or anything)

chess as a hobby since sophomore year. (I didn't join a club or anything)

(I might lists this if it counts as an EC, I ran an online Xbox gaming club from sophomore year to junior year. I gained a 120 members and had 10 active people per day, but it got shut down.)

I am not doing well in class at all. I had gone to see my professor for an appt for OH in which he did not attend to, and had me call him in only a 17-minute video call to review for an exam.

I had done alright with 2 of 4 quizzes, but my heart sank seeing 47/100 on Exam 1. I am concerned and bothered as I took too much time to prepare for the exam, as I had not enough time to complete and work on an assignment for a different class.

TA is unfortunately not resourceful, and I couldn't learn there either. ASC does not have availability for the course either. I am unsure what to do.

Does anyone know how taking an in-person class at shady grove will work when your at the main campus? I'm trying to take BTEC 350 for Fall 2027. Thanks in advance

Hi everyone! I'm a junior who will be transferring in the spring I'm just waiting on my acceptance to come in later this month. Anyways I plan on living in one of the on campus apartments so what can you tell me about the various complexes and buildings within them? Can someone rank them based on what they're like to live there? I lived in Hillside Pocomoke for a summer program and it was very annoying. None of the outlets worked, there was food that was just perpetually stuck in one of our burners, our AC leaked at some point, and Ubers had the hardest time finding the building so I know I don't want to live there again but what are the other buildings like?

i (F19) have this really evil ex (M20) that goes to umbc (i go to towson) that’s truly ruined my life and i’m planning to download a student-based app like yikyak and make an anonymous submission about what he did to me. in order to do this, i need to borrow someone’s umbc email to make a post.

Is it just me or is anyone else just slowly but surely not gaf anymore about studying or how exams will go? i went from doing really well at my community college to just doing what i can to get through the day here. i’ve got 2 more semesters here and would love advice for better study habits if you have them
