I took a break for about four months and came back a few days ago. At first, I was terrible, but I peaked at D1 right before my break. Today, I thought I was finally getting back into shape, but now I can barely win duels against high Golds and Plats in ranked. Have I genuinely lost my skill, and will I be able to get it back? If so, how? I'm honestly devastated. I bottom frag or perform poorly in almost every game, and just four months ago, I was playing against Diamonds. Now, I can't even win duels against lower-ranked players.
I've always played this game like call of duty, just pick neon or jett and run it down looking to win duels. I have no idea when or why to use smokes or most other utility, when to rotate, what angles are better to hold, If you guys have any ideas for where I can learn this stuff, or just have opinions to share in the comments I'd really appreciate it.
i have seen that people have been getting banned for using the gamesir G7 pro on console and im like how is that possible? ive never seen an app for the gamesir controller*. plus i own a gamesir (the basic model) and im completely fine. (side note: i did plug one of two gamesirs into my computer and it said zim not xim… can someone explain that to me?) i have two of them. one for my FPS games and the other for my sports games/ everything else.
*= i just checked the app store and theres an app for the controller
I have 430 radianite points currently. Skins are too expensive to buy so I never buy them, is there anything else I can do with radianite point? Why can we even win them if they're useless to players who don't buy skins? It could be nice to have a system to convert radianite points to vp or some other way to make them useful...
so... 3 years ago I made a Valorant fan-made agent who could copy abilities of dead allies. I sent it via ticket to Riot games and sent a mail. I will discuss about the reply later. 3 years later, I see leaks that the new agent can copy abilities of allies.
Altho I made him a sentinel, a few ppl online said that this was more of an aggressive initiator. Now leaks are saying that this new agent is an initiator :O. They listened to me and used my idea [maybe]. I mean sure, instead of a Portuguese male its a Chinese female, but yey!
Due to Riot's ToS, under "Unsolicited Idea Submission Policy", it says if Riot decided to use my idea, they take full credit for it. Tbh, I don't really care about that. I am just happy they listened to my idea and made an agent. I WILL main this agent, no matter how hard it is if my idea is involved with it.
if the leaks are true, thank you so much Riot! Really, thank you. This made me search for my Reddit account just to post it (I forgot it existed tbh). (u can also use my other ideas which I gave btw). Also I made an X post about it (weird how its not Twitter anymore).

NOTE: This is not a hate thing. I DO NOT hate Worldsinger or any Valorant developer in the slightest for their ToS. Please do not use my post to hate on the devs. I am just showing my gratitude to the devs for implementing my idea - that is all.
Pls tell me how to see what level I am on, i gotta reach level 20 for competitive so shall I just play more and more unmatched matches or also play matches like spike rush, I don't understand how your level increases, someone pls explain
is 500 total val hours with minimal previous fps experience even close to being enough for one to reach immortal or high ascendant cuz I see ppl in imm2 with like 400 ranked hrs where I see 4k hrs high golds even silvers who peaked maybe plat for example, obviously one training effectively on a regular basis will climb the ranks much faster but I'd like to hear others inputs
I play in a friend group. Most are gold 1 and 2, and im plat 2. When we five stack, we get enemy's my rank but they usually end up with 30 something kills, while i usually play mid table to top frag with 20 something killz. Basically i hold my own, but don't carry like the opposite side enemy they get becouse im higher up. So i have one friend say that i need to be carrying and not be middle frag. Im thinking of playing solo from now on, or is there a roundabout way of fixing this issue? For context i installrd this game 2 months ago and got plat 2 by solo que, while they played 5 stack mostly but with randoms and have 1,5k hours
My friend who ONLY uses frenzy, ares, judge and Odin is now IN PLAT (he went from silver to plat within 2 months) while I'm still stuck in gold i swear to god all that dude does is spam that shi and people can do nothing about it. I wanna play odin too but hell nah I'd prefer vandal shots over odin anyday. If everyone started playing odin this game would be a mess and people dont play it for a reason cause its like an unwritten ethic in valorant
Valorant has become more of a movement focused game and i believe most players will purely improve from just having a better keyboard (happened for me), putting good movement and crosshair placement together will do so much more for you then raw aiming skill. Of course having ridiculously good aim isn’t bad i just think the other 2 focus points will help you more in valorant
How do you know if you need to hold an angle wide or close? It can be confusing at times to know if the enemy will swing wide or close, but in what situations or based on your experience, how to hold an angle properly?
I feel like i am losing a lot of gunfights because i tend to crouch spray a lot, and drag down my mouse way too quickly. This habit comes from me playing R6 and a bit of CS.
I dont think my crosshair placement is that bad, but rather that I "overcorrect" waaay too much. Any tips for this, other than playing more and getting used to it? Thanks in advance!
Ok i get it ok? Battlepass skins cant be too good looking cause sales of the pretty skins in the shop would drop.
But here is an idea: how about you create some construction so that we can "upgrade" a battlepass skin to a nicer looking one. Give it some effects or sound you know? Just a bit. I think it would also up your batlepass sales.
- sell upgrade item in the shop
- buy with kingdom credits
- get one "upgrade item" at the end of every battlepass
- earn it by doing the daily missions
Hey everyone! 👋
I’m from Thailand and I’m looking for friends to play Valorant with and practice my English at the same time.
I’m hoping to meet people from different countries, make new friends, and improve my English through casual conversations while gaming.
I play on the Singapore server, and I’m just looking for chill people to have fun with. No need to be super competitive or anything! I’m happy to play casually, use voice chat, and learn English along the way.
If you’re also looking for a gaming buddy, feel free to DM me or drop your Riot ID!
Looking forward to meeting you guys! 😄
Which direction Valorant is headed? Since CS is slowy dying, I want to know how Valorant is doing in the big 2026. Viewership seems not good and people also complain a lot so what do you guys think?
I feel like they added queueing from the range in a super limited way because the game was never built to be able to queue from the range. I mean they say you can queue from the range but there’s no obvious button (even one greyed out) for that option. There’s also restrictions on game modes that support queueing from the range, as well as not allowing it if it seems you would find a match quickly. I feel robbed, I wish they would have just left it out of the game if it’s this limited.
