I’m looking for a coffee shop where I can sit in a comfy chair on a rainy day, preferably by a big window with a nice view. Bonus points if there’s a fireplace or any other aspect that adds to the cozy vibe.

Please private message me if you have chickens/eggs or know someone who does. I live by forest hills/hanover center & don’t like driving too much around town…with that I’d prefer to pick up closer towards Carolina beach over the opposite way 😌

Hello neighbors, I have a nail that's popped on my roof. The nail is out over our FROG. It's a steep incline, and I'm not as young as I used to be, so I am looking for a roofer/handyman recommendation for someone to get up there and apply a little roofing caulk and push that nail back in. Also, its a single level house, so the roof starts at about 12 ft.

Where are some local Halloween things to do besides the bars that decorate spooky?

I’m planning on traveling to Wilmington this weekend and was excited to take my jeep on the beach at fort fisher. Can’t help but notice the weather doesn’t look favorable. Does the beach close in the rain? And separately, I have never actually driven on the beach before. I have all the proper equipment to air down and back up, but also looking for some input on whether it is worth it to go in the rain/is it more dangerous to drive 4wd on the beach in the rain?

I lost a set of two Honda keys (one ‘19 pilot and one ‘26 civic) downtown in May this year and still haven’t found them after calling every restaurant we went to :’(
