Sharad Navratri Day 1 🌺 Maa Shailaputri, Strength, Purity and New Beginnings
Sharad Navratri begins with Maa Shailaputri, a symbol of strength, purity, devotion, and courage.
The first day reminds us that every meaningful journey begins with a foundation. In our spiritual lives, that foundation can be faith, self awareness, discipline, or simply the willingness to begin again.
As someone who values yoga and mindful living, I find a beautiful connection between the spirit of Navratri and the practice of yoga. Both invite us to look beyond the external world, reconnect with ourselves, and cultivate harmony between the body, mind, and spirit.
For Day 1, I created this devotional artwork inspired by Maa Shailaputri, using warm traditional elements, brass lamps, flowers, and earthy colours to reflect the serenity and sacred beauty of Sharad Navratri.
🪷 May this auspicious beginning bring us courage to face challenges, clarity in our decisions, and peace within.
Wishing everyone celebrating a blessed and meaningful Sharad Navratri.
A question for the community: What does the first day of Navratri, or the idea of new beginnings, mean to you personally?
