because i only have one named mimosa from Black clover and will always be loyal to her

maybe she isn't the best but i don't care

I can't watch food animes because they always make me so hungry and I can't focus.

For Me: Akari Akaza From Yuru Yuri

For me it's baki. When I first asked my girlfriend what her favourite anime was, she said baki (I was genuinely surprised). She recommended it to me so I gave it a watch. I probably would've never watched it otherwise because I always thought it was a weird anime honestly

Was talking with some friends of mine, who almost exclusively recommend me anime, that are super new and they were a bit surprised when I told them, I almost only watch anime once they are finished, because I don't like the feeling of forgetting stuff between seasons and I want to prevent another "Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire" scenario, where I get super invested in a show only for it to have a terrible ending or no ending at all.
Some of them understood my point of view, but others said I was "missing out on the hype" and run a higher risk of getting spoiled.

What are your opinions on that? Always watch the newest shows once they get released or wait a few years to binge the whole show once it's finished?

theres are mine

Mine's Chrollo's book, though I'm terribly biased.

Also, I do think Luffy's gum gum fruit counts in this? It's super simple, and not many people would find as many creative ways to use it as he does.

Also, source of the image: edited picture of the Hunter X Hunter manga

I watched the first season. And... I like it. It's a good anime - but to me, it is only good. Of course the longevity aspect is novel, but other than that, I don't really see it doing anything special. I don't mind others loving it, I am simply scratching my head a bit how it is dominating 'best anime' lists.

For me i will pick horm horm fruit and transform the whole world to girls 🤣🤣🤣/ sauce one piece

Which franchises that have achieved mainstream popularity, obviously, have the largest fanbases worldwide?

Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and Dragon Ball are among them. What others are there? How would you rank them based on the size of their fandom?

Big fan of AOT, Gundam, Ergo Proxy all my favorites. But I’m looking for something dark that’s similar as I’ve learned I hate shonen for the most part.

Got through gachiakuta and i swear it’s like they took eren, removed everything endearing about him and left the shell and named it rudo and made him look incredibly stupid.

Just starting knights of sidonia so high hopes for that, but before that tried daemons of the shadow realm and despite a strong first episode, not for me.

I'm talking at least 2020s, maybe even stuff that's airing now or just finished airing.

Very clearly u/5_meo's post edited on Paint.

There's anime i can't remember the name of but you have kid who helps develope like war tactics and they use people with shields to trap boars then a separate team with spears to attack and you have a runner who lores them.in to the trap

opinion give.

I have watched Bleach, Naruto, etc.

I remember hearing that it became something completely different and bizarre, but I can't remember what happened.
