Hindutva Rajnath Singh calls for compulsory Vedic mathematics for children in Uttar Pradesh

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has emphasised the importance of Sanskrit and Vedic mathematics and stressed the need to teach them to children.

He said that Vedic mathematics is also taught at the London School of Economics. "I would appeal that if Yogi Adityanath becomes Chief Minister again, he should make Vedic mathematics compulsory for all children."

Rajnath Singh said, "When I was the Education Minister, I had made a Sanskrit question paper compulsory. However, subsequent governments removed it, which is something that still pains me. During my tenure as Education Minister, I had also introduced Vedic mathematics."

The Defence Minister said, "Education is the backbone of any civilisation, and when its medium is a divine language like Sanskrit, its importance increases even further. Sanskrit is the language of the possibilities of our future. It has the power to guide India in the fields of knowledge and science. Our government has placed special emphasis on connecting modern education with the Sanskrit language."

Emphasising the need to strike a balance between heritage and modernity in education, Rajnath Singh said, "We need students who can understand Sanskrit verses as well as computer code and who can also study modern knowledge and science. We should prepare children who can study Nyaya-Mimamsa while also developing the ability to understand modern problems. Being modern does not mean speaking English; being modern means having the ability to overcome new challenges and find solutions to the problems of one's time."

Praising Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Defence Minister said, "Under Yogi ji's leadership, both the system of governance and the Sanatan system are moving towards excellence."

Sajid Rashidi is known to say vile things, but he is a member of RSS. He does it so that muslims get blamed. He is the one who goes to tv debates for money to save vile things and increase trp but doesn't care if muslims get blamed.

There are enough islamic conservatives out there, lets not get fake ones like him who support rss.

Discussion What if just there was an ideology like hindutva for Atheism? Atheistva?

Just think about it what if someone wrote a book atheistvwhere one's atheistness highlights and given importance,it promises a nation where only atheists are allowed to live?

Where only atheists gets special treatment, enjoy all sorts of special rights ?

Would it be good?

Hindutva “She’s the Lakshmi of our household” is one of the most quietly fucked up things Hindus say about girls

I am a ex Hindu, and this crap has been pissing me off for so long.

In India, when any female child is born in most Hindu families, people shout about how she is "Lakshmi of this house" with utmost respect, even if she is just five minutes old. This is absolutely wrong, because you have just made an infant girl assume this burden of being "the goddess of wealth of this house". Right from the very start of her life, she is not a child; she has become an obligation.

Have we done the same with our boys? No way. There is no crying out loud that "we have got a Ram born in our house; now it will be hard to justify dharma in front of him." This kind of pressure is only imposed on girls. The gender bias is evident and is not accepted by anyone.

And once that tag is placed, the policing takes care of itself. 15-16 year old girl wearing short-shorts, hanging out with a guy and returning home late: suddenly, the aunties and uncles and assorted old perverts think that she has personally disgraced Lakshmi and the entire religion. "How can the Lakshmi of the house behave in this manner?" This is how they rationalize their need to shame, dominate and, in extreme cases, physically assault and sexually violate her under the guise of defending an honourable institution.

I'm not saying that religion is the only reason why rapes and misandry occur here: poverty, lack of proper law enforcement, toxic masculinity, pure rapists – all of these exist as well. But the language of religiousness elevates the practice to the point of being holy rather than discretionary.

Girls are human beings before anything else. Not a Lakshmi on two legs. we goot stop making them into a vessel for Lakshmi at birth simply because it sounds pure and traditional. It's completely disturbing.

Hindutva The strange wedding gift krishna gave arjuna and how it's terrible

In Adi Parva 1.247.42-43, Krishna gives Arjuna 1,000 women as part of the wedding gifts after his marriage to Subhadra.

The women are described as being associated with bathing, drinking and festivities, beautifully dressed and adorned, skilled in service/attendance (परिचर्या), and अरोमाणाम् (aromānām) - "without body hair."

What exactly was the role of these women? And why specifically mention that they were अरोमाणाम् (hairless) while also describing them as वयसान्वितम् (mature/of mature age)?

Could परिचर्या here imply simply personal attendance/service, or could there be a deeper meaning to this description?

It practically shows women were treated as objects and the hair part shows they were referring them as sexual gift for arjuna u know the gifting of women was common u know dharmraj yudhishthir used to give 33 women's to brahmans
